The rules of Paradise are simple:

Everyone must work. Everyone must contribute. If you leave, you may never come back. Paradise is the new world, to question that is to question the law.

They have been drilled into us since the world ended and those bunker doors shut.

So why can’t I stop dreaming of more?

The Forgotten is another amazing story by K.A. Knight. This time following Piper and self mission to do whatever she can to get out of Paradise and on patrol in the Wastes. Her choices don’t come without sacrifices, but she’s strong, funny, crass, sarcastic and determined. Each man in Piper’s harem has earned a place on heart throughout the story - Jago, Archel, and Evan aka the Beast, the Shadow, the Doctor.

One of my favourite things about the way K.A. Knight writes is her expressiveness of wor

This is one of my favorite books. I am glad I read it again. Piper is insane but has a good heart. She gets into all kinds of trouble and starts some interesting games and shenaningans even in dangerous situations. There are some triggers in this story including a rape scene that isn't completely detailed so be aware. Still its a great stoey and I'm glad I read it again.

So I was a little torn here at the end of this book. It does have a very dark and violent feel. The story line has a great dystopian premise but its very.. clustered, jumbled?, and non cohesive at times. Its really fast paced, its kind of like hold on for dear life or get tossed to the wayside. The reader kind of gets tossed into the world and I noticed the similarities to the "Their Champion" series about halfway through. That's about the time I realized this is a spin off.. there were several ...more

I really enjoyed this! If you liked the author's privious series, The Wasteland, then I'm sure you'll like this.

Set in the same world, some where between the first and second book, we follow Piper, a resident of Paradise, the so called hidden haven we see in book 2 of the Wasteland. It is not a great place, despite being technically safe from the outside, as long as you play your role and don't rock the status quo. Unfortunately for Piper, wanting to be on Patrol, a job not seen fit for a woman,

I really enjoyed Piper’s story and her personality. She has so much snark and strength that you can’t help but love her. She was put through so much pain but still managed to be strong. I can’t wait to see how her story continues.

Halfway through The Cities, I had to stop and grab this book from Kindle Unlimited, as Piper pops up there and it’s obvious her connection to certain characters is key - though Their Champion is Worth’s story.

This companion novel is, in a word, brutal. From Paradise, Piper is living the wasteland dream, until she is betrayed in the most horrific fashion, and finds herself rescued from certain death and hustled to The Forgotten. It’s rough, almost beautiful and incredibly captivating. Piper is NO

I love a strong female character

I absolutely adore Piper and her strength, fierceness amd determination to follow her heart and live her life the way she wants to. She has men she meets along the way who are all strong themselves and they can either help her be strong or they can be left behind. Definitely listen to the trigger warnings as this book does get a bit dark but I loved every moment of Piper's journey and I can't wait for what comes next in this crazy post apocalyptic world.

Holy Sands below! This book. The feels! I consumed this book so quickly. It was the air that I breathed. I could not stop. What a ride. I absolutely loved this book. The story itself, the characters, and being in the wasteland again from a different perspective was amazing. The emotions that this book evoked were phenomenal. We pick up right away that Piper needs, craves more than just living in Paradise and she makes this happen. She is stubborn and incredibility smart, she has sass and wit to ...more

Piper is a freaking badass. I love her spirit, snarky attitude and fierceness. Her love for big sexy men is right up my ally as well. But Piper’s story is one of strength, perseverance, healing, laughter and love in the midst of surviving the wasteland. K.A Knight does a fantastic job writing strong female characters that never give up, as well as sexy men, steamy as hell scenes, and emotion provoking detail and world building. I love the Their Champion series as well as this companion series an ...more

Loved it

This was an amazing book. Thier Champion is such an amazing series and this book fits right in even though it is following different characters. It's always a little risky doing an entire book without the characters we know in a series but it was done flawlessly. I am totally invested in Piper's story just as much as I am in Worth's. The cover is really beautiful too! Can't wait to see what comes next.

A fast read

Action packed. Great world and character development. Pretty believable as far as character response to situations. Lots of lighthearted banter in a pretty bleak world. All in all a good read.

I swear everything KA Knight writes I fall in love with. Her stories aren’t pretty. They are raw and almost hostile, but her characters overcome, love and live to fight another day. I just need her to write more. Write faster.

Piper has never known life outside of Paradise but she wants more. She feels trapped underground in the sterile environment of her world and wants to see the Wastes. So with her 18th birthday coming up, she sets her sites on becoming a guard, a position not assigned to women. When she is betrayed in the most horrific of ways and left for dead in the Wastes, she is rescued by an unlikely man. One who comes to own a piece of her heart. Piper becomes one of the forgotten. She's never felt more at h ...more

I don't think it's possible for me to love this book more! I loved loved loved it so hard. As usual, I am leaving the cliffhanger warning here, and there are some exceptionally violent scenes with triggers. This is in no way a criticism, as it would be impossible to portray the atmosphere of the author's world without violence.
Now, that's out of the way, let me tell you how amazing Piper is! Piper is seriously the most serious competition for Taz, as she is equally amazing, strong, warrior, prog

I've made it no secrect that I love the Their Champion series and Worth. When I saw that there was another book coming, I preordered. Honestly I was a bit worried about it though because this book follows Piper, not Worth. I shouldn't have though. Piper's story is excellent and heartbreaking and fun and everything in between.
So as I said above this book follows Piper, a young woman from Paradise. If you've read the previous books in this series, you'll know exactly what Paradise is.

I absolutely enjoyed this book! Favorite of K.A. Knight's so far (as I am slowly going through her backlog haha). I couldn't get enough of Piper, I think she totally became one of my favorite MCs of any RH book. I thought she was fierce, funny, incorrigible haha and had a vulnerability and light that made me want to know more. I honestly couldn't put this book down and am so excited for book 2 coming in February!!!

So let's talk about Piper's guys. Now that I put some pieces together, I can see h

Spoiler free, as always! So first off, this is definitely a book you need to read the description for. While you could probably get away without reading The Wasteland and The Summit, I absolutely recommend reading them before this - it will introduce you to some of the characters, as well as some of the locations in the book. First thing to say is - if you don’t read the trigger warning on the blurb, or take heed of the author’s note (she states before the novel that there is a trigger warning w ...more

Knight continues to impress with the expansion of her amazing world! This book is runs on the same timeline of the ‘their champions” series with some intertwining along with some amazing new ones! It really rounds out the fantastic world she already started building in the other books.

Piper is a bada** and I cant decide if I love her or Taz more!!. Piper is strong willed and although she hasn’t gone thru what Taz had she has her own set of horrors in this book. I love seeing ‘old’ characters re

I'm not a big fan of dystopian story lines but I really enjoyed this one!

Piper is a snarky, capable, independent woman who wants to see what's out in the world. The men she has so far are all completely different and interesting in their own ways. I love Jago and Archel, they are possessive alphas who know how to treat her right. Evan is still a work in progress but I'm looking forward to how his character develops in book 2.

I can’t get enough

This is my third book I’ve read from this author. All of them “ their champion series “. I read a lot. I’m pretty generous with my ratings because I know authors have a hard job and writing isn’t always easy. But this author builds her worlds up seemingly effortlessly. Probably not the case, just that the way her stories flow is simply extraordinary. If I could rate these books a 10 I would in a heart beat. While these stories break my heart and have me cringing in panic and d

It only took a couple of chapters of The Forgotten (book 1 of the Their Champion Companion series), to realize this book ran parallel to another series (by the same author) I'd read seven months ago. I know I've enjoyed a storyline when I can remember characters' names half-a-year later. I loved Piper (Pip) as a protagonist, more so than the main character from the crossover series. In my opinion, Piper had more flaws and vulnerabilities to make her more sympathetic to the reader. That doesn't m ...more

STOOOOOP!!! If you are reading these comments for spoilers on this book to see if you will like it enough to grab it. Go read K.A Knights other book The Wasteland first! It builds the world we are in in this book. I mean you don't have to....but if you are a massive book lover like me then you will want to do that. However, if you want to be stubborn and rude and don't want to read the other books first it's not like you will get super confused or anything with this book because Knight is a real ...more

This is an amazing journey into a world, like you never want to live. But it pulls you in, and holds you to the very end. The only thing wrong is the end, lol. I mean you have actions, adventure, love, steamy , and you know at the end you only want more. Cant wait to see if Piper and her men all get to have a happy ending. There is some of this story that is hard to read. It is upsetting, but it seems an important part of this story. I had a little trouble with it, but pushed threw and glad I di ...more

So freaking good!

I am absolutely in love with this series and so when The Forgotten was released I freaked because I always wanted to know what happen to Evan's girl but this, this I did not expect.

It was waaayyy better than anything I could have imagined. I am really hoping that Katie decides to continue with Piper's story as I feel it is definitely not finished and I could read so much more!

Piper is this sassy, fiery mouthed badass who has the greatest taste in men (Beast and Shadow!).

I'm genuinely not sure how to rate this book. From the first chapter I was wowed by how talented the author is. She knows how to set a world and a scene.

Then you get deeper and things just feel repetitive. And then there was the sexual assault. DO NOT TAKE HER WARNINGS LIGHTLY IF THIS BOTHERS YOU. Stupid me, I did. And I won't be one of those people who gives it 1 star because of it, but it wasn't necessary at all. At the core she created a strong badass character, that did nothing to change or

The writing style just wasn’t for me, maybe.

I loved the concept, and the blurb, but once I started reading I found it so hard to really sink into the story. The characters outside of the main character felt very one dimensional, no unique flaws, virtues, distinct voices. The FMC is horribly shallow, and yet that’s the deepest thing about her. She doesn’t appear to take anything seriously, and humour isn’t a personality trait you can solely rely on to get your character through a book. There’s a

Another fantastic read from KA Knight

Knight has become a favorite of mine, a one-click surety. Her Their Champion series is one of my absolute favorites and this companion novel is just as good. I absolutely love the FMC Piper, her sarcastic quips and creative cursing give me life! Knight sends us on a roller coaster of emotion and had me laughing, screaming, crying and wanting to throw things. Love the expansion of the wasteland world

Piper is a stubborn, courageous, funny FMC that makes you live for her next one liner and name calling she does. Evan breaks your heart with how sweet he is but also frustrated with how he acts. Jago gets you drooling and sexually frustrated in a heartbeat but you love every second of it. Then Archel aka Shadow is the rock after a tough time that makes a girl feel like you could accomplish anything. Then I am curious to see if sweet gentle Simon comes int
