On distingue aisément le style de chacun des artistes (Takahama a un style plus traditionnel alors que Boilet travaille surtout à partir de modèle et de photographies retouchées). I liked this very much- it has the lingering sensuality and gentleness of 1960's love film. It doesn't go anywhere much, just around and on holiday, but I enjoyed being absorbed in its world. The sequel, Yukiko's Spinach is also excellent.

A French mangaka and his model Mariko make a very nostalgic visit to the resort island of Enoshima.
I picked this up on a whim. The drawings are definitely the strong point of this novel because the story is weak. A few of the erotic drawings are beautiful.
