Great for fans of video games, but more importantly the plot explores character traits we would want our children to have: kindness, determination, teamwork, temperance, patience, persistence, learning from others, and never giving up.

Sunny goes to a video game tournament where he gets to compete against many other gamers as Super Rabbit Boy and Super Rabbit boy also competes in the all star kingdom. We all loved this book - the way that the book bounces back and forth from Sunny and his family to the players in Super Rabbit Boy is always cool - and this all stars version was no different. Huge hit at our house. We read it the day we got it (and several more times since!)

Another book we got from the library for summer reading rewards. My six year old loves rabbits and video games so this was right up his alley. I liked the positive messages. Good beginner chapter book.

{My thoughts} – I really enjoy how this book series is put together. It helps to grow readers by using the one thing most children love the most games. Each book in this series a game that is being played. The main character in the games are Super Rabbit Boy.

In this book there is a competition to see who is the best. There are a series of levels in which the players much beat. The last player standing wins the competition. I really liked this book. It helped to take a look at other aspects that the characters have. It showed us that not all the characters that appear to be weak are weak and not all the characters that appear to be strong are strong.

If you want to find out who won the competition you need to read the book, I promise it is really enjoyable!

I gave this 5 stars because I loved all the different challenges and that it was in real life and in the game, and that's not really a spoiler.

This was a super fun read aloud. This series would be perfect for the emerging reader who loves video games, especially the reluctant reader. Very engaging and funny.
