"Earthquakes," by Betsy Rathburn. is a excellent book explaining all aspects of Earthquakes with great pictures that compliment the explanation. The book also includes a glossary and an index, as well as a factsurfer section where students and teachers can get addition information from reliable websites.

24 pgs. Great book on the earthquake disaster. Photos are quite dramatic and explanations are clear. Great maps, diagrams, etc. Helpful for reports. Highly recommended for Grades 2-5.
