A gentle story of the author's Christian conversion. It includes an audio tape of a song for each chapter, sheet music, and drawings that inspired him.

Since reading The Road Less Traveled, I've been reading all of Peck's works in order, hoping for another one that lives up to the expectations created by that first one. This one comes closest.

Peck was a Holy man - a man of God. The knowledge that he was a broken man; a man who cheated on his wife repeatedly and had affairs with his patients, only serves to solidify my opinion of him.
