OH. MY. GOD. That blurb!

Be honest, Lorraine Heath. You wrote this book just for me, didn't you?

WTF Are You Reading?
Of all the Trewlove tales. It must be said that Fancy's would be the one that readers might have the most difficult time warming to.
Especially if one has first become acquainted with the emotionally captivating and drama laced complexity that stands as an unchallenged hallmark of the previous four siblings' stories.
At least upon first perusal...
The reason?
Fancy has always been portrayed as the cossetted and sheltered youngest sister.
A china figurine wrapped in tissue paper. That no light or

Lorriane Heath is one of my favorite authors. This book is part of Sins for All Seasons. This series centers around bastards brothers and sister that find love.

The youngest of the sibling is Fancy Trewlove. She owns a book store in town. Then walks in her store, Matthew Sommersby, Earl of Rosemont. Matthew is running about from the tons and London because of a letter his decease wife wrote about him. This letter has made him the most sought after bachelor in town. His late wife was a fortune

This was sweet and delightful and very classic Heath. As always I could have used more groveling—and more “Ah yes, this is the patriarchy and toxic masculinity” realizations re: the hero and his hang-ups on women—but the romance itself was wonderful.

First of all I want to thank the author and Edelweiss for giving me the chance to read an e-arc of this book.
I really enjoyed reading the book. It’s empowering to see Fancy advocate to give to her community and help people reach a better quality of life. I really liked her character and how even though she’d been protected by her family, she isn’t blind to how society works and what needs to be done. And how teaching people

Lorraine Heath is one of my all-time favourite Historical Romance authors, who creates these incredible and vivid characters, families and backstories. I have been impatiently waiting for The Earl Takes a Fancy, Book #5 of A Sin For All Seasons series and I am so excited to be able to review it.
Poor Fancy falls in love with a “Mr. Nobody” rather than some titled peer of society…..

Fancy Trewlove is the youngest sibling to the Trewlove family. She is the one; the Trewlove siblings worked so hard

Oh my goodness, the Trewlove family! I have read only one previous book in this series, but I will definitely be filling in the gaps! Fancy’s story was so sweet and darling. Her bookshop, introduced in previous books, was so fleshed out and inspiring, and her hero being so enthralled and supportive of her endeavors was beautiful! This one is perfect if you like literacy, cats, generous heroes, kites, embarrassing family, fire breathers, secret identities, bookshops, bucking societal

This installment to the Trewlove series is a sweet tender story. Fancy Trewlove is destined for a great match with a member of the aristocracy. Her mother Ettie and brothers and sister have planned this for her since she was born. She wants to honor their wishes for her but after she meets Matthew Sommersby in her bookshop, she begins to think very differently. Matthew is hiding something very important from Fancy because he wants to be appreciated for himself alone.

The instant attraction and

2.5 stars.
I struggled with so many issues with this book.
I remember when I used to love Heath’s books. But the last 5 or 6 have been not at all my cup of tea. I am unwilling to let so many completely inane and unlikely things go now in pursuit of the overall plot, I guess. I need at least a modicum of verisimilitude.

This would have been rated higher, except that the hero was lying to the heroine for most of the book.

Lorraine Heath has always had a soft spot for emotional love stories. No doubt because growing up, watching movies with her mom, she was taught that the best movies "won't half make you cry."

She is the daughter of a British beauty (her mom won second place in a beauty contest sponsored by Max Factor during
