I'm a fan of certain kinds of kink, and daddy kink ranks right up there among my BDSM faves, so I had high hopes for Kiss Me, Daddy. Sadly, this book didn't live up to expectations.

Kiss Me, Daddy was not my tastes. Insta-love, daddy stuff introduced too quickly, miscommunications... it was all sort of a mess. I struggled with the pace and the structure of the story. I think there were a lot of issues that made for a very mediocre reading experience.

I've only read one other book by this author,

I'm not sure what happened here. I've enjoyed each of the books in the series which this one spins off from but something about this just didn't really work for me.

I think part of it was that it was way too much insta love but also not enough went into the kink side for me to really feel the Daddy/boy dynamic.

I liked both characters individually but each time they slipped into the kink, I really didn't feel the connection at all. A lot of the time it just seemed like a whole load of dirty talkin

I was quite surprised when I first started this book at how much I was instantly taken in by the writing and the characters.

Joshua is 37, lives in a home with his son and his ex-wife. He's also a radio host, but his identity is private as he uses a fake on air persona. He's created a life in which he's content. Not happy, exactly, but good. When he explains his living situation to others, they tend to run, so he's resigned to what he has.

Andy is graduating college and has no job, no job prospect

It started with an adorable scene when Andy met Jordan the first time. Memorable, but not really pleasant for Andy. With thought that Jordan was happily married with a very proper ten year old son, Andy had no chance. Or so, he thought.
But apparently Jordan is single and available, sure he had to 'explained' everything to Andy before something's happened between them.
Kiss me Daddy was a fine read with a daddy kink, insta-love and an overprotective Daddy for his boy.
Light, low angst with some fa

Kiss Me, Daddy by Quinn Ward explores some sexy and intense Daddy/boy kink. While there is a real need for Andy to feel safe and cared for by his Daddy, which includes daily discipline that leaves him grounded emotionally, the author makes sure to point out that the best relationship dynamic that could exist between two men in this lifestyle depends on both being independent and trusting each other. That’s a hard place for Andy to get to when he has spent most of

To Finding What Missing...!

Judgmental parents, self esteem issues and looking for a kinky connection are all a part in the Andy & Joshua pairing. A lightweight romance with all the usual tropes. I found it read more like a fairytale and not up to the same standards of other books by this author. I consider this an okay read.
Aside: the opening paragraphs seemed very familiar, as if I’d read this passage before....hmmmmm!

2.5 stars.

I love Daddy/little books. I don't think there's one I wouldn't read. Unfortunately, Kiss Me, Daddy by Quinn Ward didn't really leave a mark.

Andy is struggling with finding his place in life and managing his own expectations. A chance encounter with a man who rings all of Andy's Kiss Me, Daddy vibes might just be what Andy needs.

So, this was more of a slow burn story but more in a frustrating me rather than building the tension kinda way. There was A LOT of family dynamics on Joshua's

Holy insecure insta-love....

While I adored this author and the Kinky in the City series, especially the Daddy kink one, this one just kind of missed the mark for me. See, Andy was just set to graduate college with a degree his father didn't approve of. I was proud of him, because his parents were the worst kind of people that undoubtedly gave him such low self-worth, and such low self-esteem, but he stuck with it and now he was getting a degree.....
Unfortunately, like many degree holders in our

I really like Daddy kink, but this one didn’t hit the spot (except for the dirty talk). I think because:
-the start of the relationship is fast but not a lot happens in the bedroom and suddenly it’s a month later. Did sometimg happen off page? The timeline is weird.
-Gabriel the kid is shipped off to friends all the time. I don’t like that. And then suddenly Joshua tells Amy (his ex, Gabriel’s mother) what a great bond Gabriel and Andy have because Andy makes dinner and they hang out. Apparently t

This book was Great. I loved every part of it.

When I think about books with a "daddy" and "age play/age gap" involved this is exactly what I am hoping and looking for.

Andy and Joshua aren't just playing at "daddy & boy" and throwing those words around in a playing/joking manner but it's an actual lifestyle for them. Its who they are to each other. You can feel their bond in every word and action and neither of them can deny their feelings and who they are to each other. And that's what I've bee

Hmmm, this story was nice but didn’t connect with me or draw me in like the Kinky in the City series did. I really like kink but I don’t like when the characters fly by the seat of their pants instead of having discussions and determining what the other wants and that is what it felt like these characters did. They talked a little at one point about what they want but it was less than a page and I didn’t feel as

Loved it! Andy aka Little One is adorable and in definitely need of some love and a guiding hand. Joshua aka Daddy - damn that man swoon! He's got it together but wants to embrace his kinky side and being with a man post divorce. And the two together equals a fab read.
If you like the Daddy/boy trope I thoroughly recommend this one.

I recieved a free copy to read and review for Wicked Reads

This book started off really good. I loved the dynamics of Joshua's family and I liked Andy. Gabriel was agreat secondary character and I would have liked to see more of him. The story and flow was going great until aboit 40-50 percent in and then it seemed like either someone else wrote the last part or the author was rushed to finish the book. The chemistry and feeling between Joshua and Andy seemed to go from burning and slow to super

Andy first sees Joshua at a coffee shop when Joshua is out with his ex-wife and son. He thinks Joshua is hot, but clearly taken. When Andy later sees Joshua out at the bar he just started working at, he assumes that Joshua is looking to cheat on his wife and blows him off. A third chance encounter allows them to clear the air and get to know each other.

Joshua is trying to break out of his comfort zone and accept that he might be able to have the kind of relationship he fantasizes ab

I’m a fan of Daddy/boy stories as well as age gap, so this one piqued my interest from the moment I read the blurb. I liked the setup for this story, and I thought the characters were a perfect match for each other. It was lighter on the kink aspects than I expected—though there was spanking to be found—and focused more on relationship dynamics as well as family ones.

Andy was actually a pretty responsible guy, if a bit adrift when it came to his life’s direction…which made Joshua coming into his

Kiss Me Daddy, the first book in Quinn Ward's Club 83 series, is a fun Daddy kink romance. As a fan of Daddy Kink, I was super excited to dive into this one.
The Daddy kink comes on suddenly, seeming a little forced. Though, in the end Andy really needs a Daddy figure. His struggles are real, leaving him in a no-win situation. His parents are awful to him, and have no faith in him at all. He's young, lost, and unsure of what to do with his future.

Joshua also has lot of family issues, as he's li

The Daddy Kink was creepy

I love Daddy kink! It’s probably my favorite kink. So I don’t get creeped out by it. This however was super creepy. This couple met under a veil of distrust, the Daddy has a 10 year old living in the house he just brought his new boy to, and with no foundation for trust, the Daddy starts calling the boy Little One as a name replacement WAY TOO OFTEN so it becomes creepy rather than endearing. The boy isn’t just a brat, he says he knows what he wants, but definitely does

The kink is light here. Basically meet cute in a coffee shop, BM over whether guy is married with kid or not, weird family dynamics on both side (older guy lives with ex-wife and son - she's on the road all the time...young guy's parents are whack-jobs).

It's pretty insta-lovey. They see each other once for 20 min. in a coffee shop and the older guy is totally obsessed. I also had some difficulty with the time line. He talks about him and his ex being so young and their families saying they were

Nice, but could have been better

I liked it for 3.5 stars worth. It's a nice HEA May-December Daddy kink that isnt very heavy with the sex side, and family included - story worth reading especially if it ticks your boxes, the type of read that you prefer, but not something that I'd go recommending around to friends as "you need to read this!" I didn't like it enough for me to love it. I liked the first half more than the rest. The reason is that after they got together it somehow started dragging

I liked the concept and the characters a lot...

But this really needs another edit or two! I had a hard time with the context for some of the supporting characters, I was often confused about who was who. I also didn’t think Gabe’s character was believable as a ten year old, in dialogue or in the way he acted. Also Paul became Peter at the end which is something that a first edit or beta reader should have caught easily.

That all being said though, I loved Andy and rooted for him constantly espec

♥️♥️ Right from the start this book had me, Andy was sweet but he dreamed of having a Daddy to look out for him. He sees Joshua with a lady and child and thinks there a great family. His assumptions where slightly wrong when they remeet and tensions are present. Both are great characters with there separate baggage stories. A beautiful chemistry between them they share. I loved the Daddy scenes in this as Joshua was a firm daddy instead of the fluffy ones that I've read. I loved this book right ...more

I'm at 82% and I want Joshua to dump Andy. I'm so so over his whining and "Poor me, I'm such a screw-up, no one will ever love me," entitled rich boy attitude. This is just another episode of Pretty White Kids with Problems. Now, I have some guilt for this opinion because I'm also a privileged white kid who struggles with anxiety and depression for "no reason " and I'm pretty sure my friends and loved ones have had several moments when they just wanted me to get over it. So yeah, my hypocrisy is ...more

The new bartender catches his eye, then he realizes it the same man he was eyeing in a coffee shop. Andy, almost a college graduate doesn’t know what he wants to do with his life. Crappy apartment, no money, not even knowing how to put his almost degree to use. Then he see’s Joshua again.

This is why I love Quinn Ward. It doesn’t take you long before you get attached to Andy and Joshua. Poor Andy. He knows what his problem is but doesn’t know how to fix it. Daddy Joshua has his own issues too. As with Quinn’s other books, you get a unique relationship with their own take on the kink. Because just like in real life, every relationship is different and the characters mold it to their wants and desires. I am so glad we have authors who are well knowledge

Andy finished his degree just to be bullheaded and to show his parents that he could do it even if he has no clue what he is going to do with his degree once he graduates. Joshua is comfortable in his life, even if everyone that looks at his life from the outside thinks its perfect. When Joshua and Andy meet, sparks fly, but Andy thinks Joshua is straight. Andy is the first person that make Joshua fight past the misunderstandings instead of just walking away.

I really enjoyed both Andy and Joshua

I didn’t know this was a spin-off but could tell these characters were familiar with each other. The author clearly assumes the reader has read the previous series and is familiar with the characters and their relationships. I did not, and I was a bit confused at first by the characters’ history.

This type of story with this type of kink requires more development. The insta-love and desire to jump right into a daddy relationship was assumed. The pacing of the story is

Great Daddy Kink

Andy is a bit lost. He feels like he’s an adult but isn’t sure where is life is going. Jacob is a single dad with a complex relationship with his ex wife. He longs for a relationship but hasn’t found anyone willing to accept his baggage.

Great Daddy kink. I liked how the relationship evolved over time. It was mutually beneficial to both guys. It was great touching base with the Marino brothers again. Quinn Ward is great at writing a sexy, kinky story. It is very sensitively writt
