This begins as if it's an autobiographical journey into the soul and problems of a mangaka and then rapidly becomes simply a series of surrealistic and experimental imagery with each episode bearing little connection to the next, despite some ongoing continuity with imagery such as violent storms, changing of the seasons, a young girl etc etc. This is something one could chew over the fat in conversation but it's awfully difficult to unpick or perhaps have the desire to. there are lots of experimental panels and framings, some of which are rather clever and the drawing in general is top notch, so to that extent it's a real pleasure to flick through ... just don't try and force out the meaning, I guess.
Good to encounter work like this though I can't say I was 100% on board with the experience.
