However, the ending is a bit rushed so don't be surprised by the abruptness of how things were resolved. Overall I think I've read this like 10 times because it's really good, and very smutty ;)
My quest for sexy manga continues and I bumped into this one. Childhood friends, one wish, and tons of sexy times. Subaru is the rich poised girl who never lets anything get to her.... but she has a different side and Akira is about to discover it. I felt sorry for Akira at times because of Subaru's deredere attitude, and because he worked so hard and then had to actually do a wish to find out that Subaru likes him too, he kept thinking she didn't like him that way. I did think the wish was quite funny, connecting rooms and making her lose self-control. I do wonder how girls reacted when they saw Akira come out of the room though *grins*. I felt sorry for Subaru when we found out why she is often so stand-offish. her dad and his controlling ways, forcing her to get married to a random guy while she wants to be with Akira. The sexy times were definitely fun and very steamy. I found it funny that after that hour was over she fell asleep. We also get some backstory on the couple, and I was rooting for them. Subaru is such a pervert btw. :P Nice art!
I was really looking forward to the second volume but it wasn't as good as the first volume... like... at all. It was way way worse than expected. There were some weird scenes with Subaru's sister being there and an almost rape scene. While the first volume did pretty much everything right, the second one did pretty much everything wrong. I really liked the scene where Aki rescued Subaru though. In general I really love them two together as a pairing and I'm extremely relieved that this didn't turn out with Subaru or Aki cheating on one another. They clearly are in love and that's great, because R18 Manga often tend to have some cheating scenes and I really hate those. So probs to this manga!
A god magically joins the rooms of two high schoolers so that they can secretly live together, but at the cost of the girl losing all of her self-control for an hour a day. Wacky hijinks ensue.
This was ok for what it was. The ending was pretty abrupt but I honestly don't know where else this story could have gone because the plot was pretty limited.
Picture an ordinary male teenager who, as a kid, met an injured girl and tended to her wounds when nobody else would. Such a pure act sparked love in the girl, who proceeded to spend most of her tomboy years with said dude.
Unfortunately, she’s the daughter of some rich man who intended to send her to a private school that our unremarkable protagonist couldn’t afford, unless he excelled at his studies. He did bust his ass, and ended up attending the same school as his love interest, only to find out that the previous tomboy had become a prim, beautiful lady that wouldn’t spare one second of her precious time for our ordinary protagonist.
Cue the concept of this story: some dumb urban legend actually works, and his room ends up connected to hers even though they are in different dorms. The minor god who granted that wish possesses a pillow to inform them of the price to pay: because she was the one who asked first for their rooms to be connected, her self-control will be removed for an hour each day.
The male protagonist comes to learn that he’s in love with a single-minded gal.
childhood friends to lovers✔️ wholesome✔️ wish granting god✔️ very devoted couple, subaru's so cute and funny but also watching subaru and saito sacrifice parts of themselves for each other was very heartwarming <3 ngl that sick fuck deserved more than a punch, would've been nice to see subaru give a beating to him as well lololol the art is ok, the smut looks kinda wonky but I'm not here for that so👍
The writer said he wanted, "A story that appeals straight to guys." When he actually meant was a story that appeals to the horny fantasies of every straight teenage boy to ever exist on this planet.
I think it's fine, but yeah. It's silly wish fulfillment with a slight fantasy twist in there. Yokoyari's art is nice on the eyes though.
