Lacey Black is fast becoming one of my favorite authors. I have read several books she has written and I swear they get better and better, if I could I would give this book more than FIVE STARS!
Latham has returned to Rockland Falls after serving fourteen years in the Army, he is now home and ready to take over the family's hardware store so that his father can retire and travel with his mom. The business hasn't been doing well but he hopes to change that by expanding to the storefront next to his which is about to go on the market which will give him the space he needs to add more items that will bring more revenue into the store.
We met Harper in the first Rockland Falls book, but no worries if you didn't read it this can be read as a standalone, She is a strong, independent woman that owns her own business called KISS ME GOODNIGHT where she sells women's lingerie among other things. I love Harper's take no shit from anyone attitude, especially when it comes to Latham.
Latham and Harper really know how to push each others buttons and my oh my the pranks they play on one another will have you laughing out loud. I swear my husband thought I was loosing my mind I was laughing so hard at one point I almost fell off the couch.
If you are looking for an enemies-to-lovers or second-chance-at-love romance I would highly recommend this book, not only will it have you laughing out loud it will also have you grabbing a tall glass of water to cool off with all of the hot sex scenes. This book is definitely for those 18 and older. Happy Reading!!!

I absolutely love a good enemies to lovers book especially one where the characters have known each other for a long time. These two had me hooked! Once I started I couldn’t stop. Definitely a book to read.

When Harper finds out that the space next to her store, Kiss Me Goodnight, is available she dives in to get it. When the one boy from her past steps in and becomes the other bidder, she must do everything she can to win it, but what happens when Latham becomes more than just her competition? Who will win in the end just to lose it all. I fell in love with these characters in the first book and that love affair continued on with Harper and Latham. There were some hilarious moments in this book along with the emotional moments that brought me to tears. I loved this story so much!

5 SMOOCHES!
I absolutely love small town romances, and when that’s what I’m in the mood to read, Lacey Black’s stories are what I reach for. She is the gold standard of this special niche of sexy-sweet love stories. Anchored around a big, loving family and set in an everybody-knows-everybody-else small town, Black gives her readers memorable, heart-tugging romances that are as hot as they are hilarious. I just cannot get enough of her love stories set in these vibrant little towns and the families in them.
Love and Lingerie is the second book in Black’s Rockland Falls series, a spin-off of her Summer Sisters series. This book is a second-chance romance between Harper Grayson, owner of the town’s lone lingerie shop, and returning Army veteran, Latham Douglas, son of the local hardware store owner. This couple had a history going back to high school that was cut short by Latham’s departure for the military. Returning home after a 12-year stint in the Army, taking over the family business isn’t the only thing on his mind. Harper is as feisty, sassy and confident as her red hair implies, and she’s also a bombshell in every sense of the word. She left Rockland Falls, too, at a young age to pursue a career in modeling in New York, but returned home after a few years to pursue a different dream closer to home and her family.
The chemistry between Latham and Harper is as electric as it was in high school, and they slip right back into the back-and-forth, banter-filled exchanges—and practical pranks—of their youth without missing a beat. I laughed at the things they did to each other, and I loved how Black used it as a fun and comical way for this couple to reconnect after so many years apart. Harper may have hidden her feelings for Latham behind some evil nicknames, but there was no hiding her body’s reactions or the way her heart-raced whenever he was near, and for his part, well, Latham wasn’t hiding anything.
Love and Lingerie was an entertaining and sexy addition to this fantastic new series, and I finished it already wanting the next book desperately—I need more of this town, more of this family! I loved how Black brought in characters from the Summer Sisters series, including my favorites—Orval and Emma—into this story. Amusing and engaging, full of endearing characters and a sweet, sexy romance, Harper and Latham’s story made my heart happy and kept me smiling from cover-to-cover. But someone else wants the building next door also. Latham is home from the army and ready to settle down. When he realizes that both him and Harper want the same building. Someone is going to lose out. The chemistry is hot, but someone is going to come out of this without the building. Will love win in the end and can they come to a comprise or is someone about to lose their heart and dream?
I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
I highly recommend this book.

Wow!!! This book!! First of all I love Harper. I loved her the minute we met her in Love and Pancakes. She’s bold, independent, and outgoing. And she owns a shop that some people would turn their nose up at but she doesn’t care. I just, I love her!!! And add Latham. Their sexual chemistry was literally jumping off the pages at me. These two, they are a force to be reckoned with. I laughed, cried, and in the end ultimately swooned because well you’ll just see. And we got a visit from our favorite Summer family too. This small town of Rockland Falls is definitely starting to feel like a second home! I can’t wait for more!!

Every time that I see a Lacey Black release, I get excited. I love this series so far. This is book 2. Yes, it could be a stand-alone, but do yourself a favor and read book 1 first. Latham and Harper just sizzle. You will enjoy the storyline that includes lots of banter that is full of HEAT. You will love the secondary characters, well, all but 1. Fans of Lacey Black will know that Aunt Emma will make a visit. Her actions just cause you to chuckle. I didn't want to put the book down once I started. The story flows, the characters are realistic, there are some smoking scenes as well. Dual point of view. No cliffhanger.

Lacey Black is back with a brand new irresistibly sweet, steamy, funny standalone contemporary romance in the Rockland Falls series and ohmygosh was it brilliant. After my love for Love and Pancakes, book one in this series, I wasn't sure she could top it after such a hit with the first but oh yeah, she totally did in every way! Harper and Latham were everything y'all (just wait til you read their story!!) in all the best ways possible.
Love and Lingerie was the perfect journey (obviously not without its complications of course but they made it that much better!) that gave me all the feels and a love story that I never wanted to end. And from the moment these two stepped onto my kindle, I knew I was gonna fall hard and I was gonna fall fast. I mean their chemistry was super explosive, the banter was fun, and the sexual tension between them was thick every single time. Watching the undeniable fall happen was fast, unforgettable, undeniable, and beautiful.
If you like your romances a little easier, softer, sweeter, sexier, and more relatable.. then totally need give Lacey a try.
I highly recommend this book.

Love/hate relationship where the two are at a bidding war with each other in hopes of expanding their business in between all the pranking and steam.
Story was okay, bit bored at times. Wish Harper had the upper hand instead of Latham, felt like she had more losses than wins. Damn, can't a girl catch a break.

Love and Lingerie is the second book in the Rockland Falls series by one of my favorite authors, the talented, Lacey Black. I have read every single word this woman and written and have loved them all. You can read each book in the series as standalone but I do recommend reading Love and Pancakes so you can get all the goodness.
Fourteen years. That is how long it’s been since Harper and Latham have been in the same room. Hell, even in the same town. After Graduation, he went went straight to Boot Camp and has served in the Army ever since. As for Harper, she went to NYC and worked as a model. It didn’t last long and before she knew it, she was opening her own lingerie shop in downtown Rockland Falls. Her plan was to expand her business. His plan was to expand his family’s. The business he came back to take over. You see where this is going right? Oh yeah...it’s going there.
You see, Harper and Latham have history. She hates him. He hates her. Except, as you know there is a fine line between love and hate. Or lust. Because...damn, the sexual tension between these two is definitely full of lust. I could feel every time they were in the room together. It was all fire and ice between them.
I don’t want to spoil anything but I will say that I laughed so fucking hard. Harper is sassy, strong, and does not put up with his shit. She calls him out on everything. And he does the same. Their banter is full of heat, heart, and hilariousness. They know exactly how to push each other’s buttons. In. The. Best. Ways! Are any of those ways going to get them closer to their dreams of expanding their business? Only one could win the bid for the building between them.
Overall...it’s the most hilarious book to date that I have read by Lacey. Omg! I am going to be laughing about some of the scenes for the next few days. I know it. But, for real. It’s more than funny. It is sexy as sin and sweet as chocolate cake.

I purchased the ebook and audio. I listened and read.
When I finished reading book 1, I jumped right into book 2. But life has stopped me from finishing it right away. LAWD, Can I saw first up…the audio voices are A-MAZ-BALLS. I love love love them. So if audio is your jam, shut up and buy it. However Harper and Latham….seriously enemies to lovers….BEST READ!!! These two are so stubborn and so in love *sigh*
Alright so we met Harper in book 1 and love her sassy spirit. We know she is a bit heartbroken over her ex but she is still looking for her special someone. She is a single lady and ready to mingle. Her best friend Free is an amazing bestie who will definitely help her bury any bodies as a good bestie should. Her ugly puppy Snuggles AKA Killer is the best companion and perfect at helping to steal Latham’s heart.
Latham returns home from the military and is taking over the family business next door to Harper. When his dad sends him over to help her, he starts planning on making her his along with planning to make her miserable but only in the best way.
We have seen a glimpse into something that happened when they were in high school but until late in the book we aren’t really sure what happened….and it’s a doozie friends!!
Those two have sizzling chemistry and SWEET BABY JESUS the pranks they pull on each other….STAHHHP!!! The best!! We see them both opening up buuuuut they are both also keeping secrets. They both know the other is bidding on the same piece of property to expand their businesses.
When the hearts start to get tangled and the L word is about to be spoken, the bidding war winner is revealed. Hearts are broken and misunderstandings happen. However, I LOVE what happens and hoe the end of the book is resolved. I would be lying when I saw I can’t wait to read them more in the other books of the series.

Love and Lingerie is the second book in the Rockland Falls series by the fabulous and talented Lacey Black. Lacey is one of my favorite small town romance authors. She constantly delivers all the goods. The love, the laughter, the sexiness, the family. Did I say the laughter? We met Harper in Love and Pancakes and I knew her story was going to be awesome! She's feisty, stubborn, sexy and any man attempting to tame her has his work cut out for him. Enter Latham Douglas. Sexy, handsome and annoying. She hates him. They have a history, one she really tries to forget but just can't. And guess what? He's back in town and taking over his dad's hardware shop next store to her lingerie store. Great. First he helps her with her computer, then he's pranking her and she's giving back as good as she gets. Then he's helping her out of her lingerie and into his bed. They are both keeping a secret, while pretending to still hate each other but actually falling hard and fast for one another. What happens when the lies come out? Will their rekindled love be able to handle it? Can these two stubborn, vindictive, hilarious and sexy neighbors make it out the other side? Wow! I loved this story! Harper is so funny and sassy! Latham is handsome and isn't afraid to tell Harper how he feels about her. When it's confession time, he's all in and swoon! The pranks were effing hilarious! Tears were streaming down my face from laughing! Overall, I laughed, cried, had to fan myself and laughed some more!

This was a very enjoyable read for me, not quite 5 star worthy, but close. I honestly can't see why Harper didn't see that Latham liked her. I mean it was the stereotypical 'boy pulls your hair in the 3rd grade, so he must like you' relationship they had (based on how things were perceived 30 years ago). They were always pulling pranks and teasing one another as kids - everything was a competition for them and who can one-up the other. So of course, when Latham leaves the military and returns home and finds himself working his family's hardware store next to Harper's lingerie shop, they can't resist picking back up where they left off.
There was sexual tension galore and confusing feelings. And, the obvious elephant in the room, the fact that they were both trying to buy the same retail space between their stores. The whole book is pretty much them pulling pranks (which are pretty funny) and secretly bidding on the property even though they know the other person is their competition, all while heating things up in the bedroom. But of course, they also fall in love, before there's a big fight.
Latham really wowed me with his gesture, although it wasn't surprising. I loved that he did what it took to make his woman happy, even if it meant a small sacrifice to make that happen. Latham was just really a great 'glittery' guy at the end of the day.
Once again, I lost track of who was who in Harper's family. There really is a lot of them to keep up with! That's still my biggest complaint, but at least this time the family only made minor appearances compared to the first book.

I have been a HUGE fan of Lacey Black since her 'Sister Series', and that hasn't changed. I have only grown more fond of her writing capabilities, and immensely enjoy the places, only she can take me in the literary world. The connections I feel to each and every character that she has written, shows what kind of talent this author has. Love and Lingerie is no different. It is everything a Rom-Com should be. It was a light read, with no heavy drama. Characters that were witty, and playful. That shared the best kind of banter, and played pranks that were freaking epic, and seriously hilarious. The chemistry was palpable, and it seriously made my own heart skip a beat. The side characters were also amazing, and getting to see past characters is always a plus. All in all, this was a great book.

Ladies, please do me a favor and pick up this book. Harper and Latham are one of a kind. If you thought Marissa and Rhenn were hot, you have got another thing coming. Lacey out did herself with these two.
Harper Grayson wants to expand. Not herself, but her business. With the empty lot right next door, she has everything planned out. Her business will bloom and she will sell more local products besides her sexy lingerie.
Latham Douglas wants to expand. His family business is going under and for Latham, he needs the building next door to do it. Only problem. The hot redhead on the other side of it is screwing up his plans with hers.
With a bidding war in progress and the love hate relationship these two shared since high school, Latham and Harper have unfinished business. Someone owes the other an apology. With the pranks, the teasing, and the sexual tension between these two, there is no doubt something HOT is about to happen. When lack of communication ruins the best thing for these two, it takes someone to be the bigger person and do the right thing.

I love all of Lacey's books for multiple reasons. They are well written, they are entertaining, and she is just all around a great story teller.
For me, this book stuck out more than some of her others and is probably my favorite that she has written. This book was so fun to read! Latham and Harper's characters were so well developed and had such great and fun personalities to read I instantly wanted to be friends with both of them! (All of Lacey's characters have great personalities, for some reason these 2 just stuck out the most.) I love how driven Harper is and how independent she is. I love that Latham was so chill out side of work and when he was talking about business it was a whole other side of him. Harper and Latham's love story was one of a kind and should be shared with everybody! I hope one day to find my Latham but for now I will just enjoy the wonderful story that Lacey has written.
And you can't write about Rockland falls without bringing in characters from The Summer Sisters! I love that Lacey has written all of her books in the same world so we can have some of our favorites come back and we get updates on everyone from past books!
Well done Lacey! I can't wait for what happens next in Rockland Falls and I highly recommend this book to anyone that wants a fun happy and love written book!

Lacey Black is amazing. The girl can write small town romance like no body's business. Latham and Harper have long term history going back to their childhood/teenage years.
Harper left Rockland Falls after high school to become a model. After a short stint in New York, she returned home and no one quite knows why. She is now running the lingerie shop in town. Latham has come home to help run his family's hardware store as his father retires.
In between their respective stores lies an empty building. An empty building that both Harper and Latham have grand dreams for. An empty building that for the longest time has not been available. When Latham's dad shares with Harper that the building's owner is finally willing to sell, she does not hesitate to put her offer in. She just wasn't counting on someone else to put an offer in either.
She really really wasn't counting on that person being Latham. The one man that she loathes. The devil himself. Latham also wasn't counting on the one woman he can't forget being he one he has to go up against to win the building that will help him expand his family business.

5 I'm moving to Rockland Falls immediately!!! I'm obsessed with this series and it's only book two!!
OMG I don't even know where to start!! I fell in love with book one, but after reading this book I am officially obsessed... I can't get enough. I'm now itching for book three!!! Lacey Black has knocked it out of the park with this book! I really fell in love with the characters and the charm of this little town and all the quirky characters you meet along the way!! If you like your romance with a side of passion and sweetness then this is definitely the series for you!

I've been a fan of Lacey Black's books for awhile and the latest in the Rockland Falls series is my favorite so far. Very few authors write witty banter better than Ms. Black. Latham and Harper's story is funny, heartwarming, and full of sexual tension. This enemies to lovers book grabbed me from the first page and refused to let me go. I laughed so hard at some points I had tears, and I may have inappropriate thoughts about glitter and cake from now on.
Harper is a strong, independent woman who has a loving family and some overprotective brothers. She has overcome a lot to make her dream of a lingerie shop a reality. She dreams of expanding into the building next door. Little does she know she's not alone in planning on using that space. Enter Latham a blast from the past who raises Harper's hackles. Back from the Army, Latham is set to take over the family hardware store when his dad retires. Let the shenanigans begin.

I loved the love/hate relationship between the two characters--Harper and Latham. It cracked me up especially when they were pranking each other. FYI: Glitter is horrible--except when used as revenge. The fighting and underhandedness of trying to win the bid for the building between their businesses just built the sexual tension up between the characters. Add in the couple's history from high school and Prom only increases their rivalry and sexual tension. Until they both cave to it.
Both Harper and Latham have their reasons for hating each other--Latham less so, really he pretends to hate her so he doesn't throw her over his shoulder. Deep down both of them are secretly in love with the other and wants a relationship but the expansion of their business keeps them apart. Who ever wins the bid will be able to expand the business while the other will be at a standstill.
Is their a way to have both a relationship and expand their businesses together?

What a fun story this turned out to be. These two were great together and the chemistry and banter between them whether in bed or out of bed will have you laughing out loud.
This is a great addition to the series, and I look forward to more escapades in Rockland Falls.

Lacey Black can do no wrong! First of all, she sends me her arcs to read and review before they are released, which in and of itself, is amazing. Second, she writes amazingly addictive stories for me to lose myself in for hours at a time.
Rockland Falls is Lacey's new series and Love and Lingerie is book #2, featuring Harper and Latham. These two have a history together that didn't end very well but once they meet back up again, they can't stay away from each other. I enjoyed these two characters and how their story melded together. I fell in love with Harper in book ones of this series and was so excited to read her story! Latham was a perfect Lacey Black swoon-worthy male character (as they all are).
As I always say, if you have not picked up a Lacey Black book, go right now and get one. You won't regret it.

If you're looking for a snarky, fun contemporary romance, this is for YOU!
Right off the bat, I was in love with this couple! Even though we know the most part of what's going to happen, AKA these enemies turn into full-blown lovers, it was still a fun story to read.
There are tons of tense, romantic moments between the two while also having a strong plot behind them. We follow as each of the characters have their own ambitions and goals that keep them moving forward. Of course, when they finally come together, they begin to realize their paths are about to cross in a dramatic way.
I absolutely fell for the couple. Their story was fast-paced and full of sexy moments. I gave this book 5 out of 5 stars, and I highly recommend this one for readers who are looking for a hot romance to read this summer!
