This was a sweet book. A little too much insta love and the hurt anger scene was a little cliche. I still enjoyed it and plan to read more in this series.

Alpha Max Griffin decides a night out is in order when he catches yet another boyfriend cheating on him. He goes to Heaven’s Ballroom looking for a distraction. He quickly becomes mesmerized by one dancer in particular and once their eyes meet he makes the decision that this dance won’t be the only one for the evening.

Omega Riley Landon enjoys dancing at Heaven’s Ballroom. He’s not looking to lose his innocence there. However, when he makes eye contact with one of the Alphas in the audience he’s definitely reconsidering. After finding out his boyfriend cheated on him, Riley is done playing it safe.

Max decides to buy all of Riley’s dances for the evening. Riley is most definitely attracted to Max and flirts incessantly during their time together. Things escalate quickly and next thing you know they’re both in Max’s car getting hot and heavy.

What Riley thought was a one night stand turns into something when he finds out he’s pregnant. Now all of a sudden there may be a future in the horizon with Max. But can they get out of each other’s way to make that happen?

This was a great start to a new series. The characters were great, especially Max. He’s the perfect Alpha. I had my frustrations with Riley just due to miscommunication but I got over it. I’m looking forward to this series.

WTF? What kind of epilogue is that? It did, definitely, cost the rating of this book a star.

What to say about this book? The story is cute -- although cliché, again -- but the wording is awkward sometimes. If the author wanted to make it sound poetic, it was a failure because the "prose" was weird. And the supposedly "funny" dialogues didn't make me smile at all, I did only too late notice that I was having a scowl on my face throughout the book. In fact, this story didn't touch me like I would have liked. It was just cute with flat twists and unwelcomed spoilers that made the read uneventful. There's only one step between 'trite' and 'awesome', this book laked that touch of magic.

I read several books of this author already and they did all sound the same, maybe it's time for me to stop reading his books. Laying dozens of books per year isn't a guarantee of quality.

2 ** stars because it's readable but not acceptable for me. I read too much and this is nothing but another ordinary read, not a story that I'd remember tomorrow.

I liked the story. I liked the characters. They were funny for me at least. The characters had a lot of passion for each other. It was a very good story.

…………. 3.75 stars ………….

I liked this one, but it just felt a little bit…rushed? It felt like everything was happening so fast and then suddenly it was over. This book might just have been suffering from first book syndrome because I did enjoy reading it otherwise.

I really liked Riley and Max as characters. I also really liked that this book didn’t take itself to seriously for the most part. I think there was a comment from Riley about Max not treating him like the Pretty Woman movie….and then he did it and I was just giggling to myself the whole time that scene was happening.

So. Mixed feelings overall for this one. I liked it, but the pacing was way to fast for this type of story. I’m giving His Innocent Angel a solid 3.75 stars.

This is such a cute book! I love the idea of an Omega owned strip club that is super high class and values its employees. The dancers all had such unique personalities too, so I can’t wait to see them in further adventures meeting their own Alphas.

In this one, Riley meets Max at the club during a performance. They have both recently been hurt by their respective partners and are jaded. They connect for this one night however and end up hooking up. Riley ends up pregnant and Max has to decide whether he can trust another Omega to not hurt him and Riley must learn to trust Max to be dedicated to him and their baby. They had a great relationship, very open communication which was awesome. They had some misunderstandings but were able to be adults and talk them out and become stronger. I loved getting to know both of them and look forward to future installments in this series.

I enjoyed this story, Riley is a tender hearted omega that works as exotic dancer. He meets Max at work, they are both hurt and newly single and hook up. This results in a pregnancy. Riley tells Max, Max first reaction is bad. He follows Riley home, when Rileys ex is outside Rileys apartment Max takes Riley with him home. the rest is a sweet story one missunderstanding and two hurt souls finding their HEA. I loved the scene when Max finaly takes care of his boss.

Even though I wanted to skip some parts, but brain didn't let me, because this is honestly a good book. Every time I stop reading to do something else, I just want to get back to it for more. Nowadays books like this have not been successful to hold my attention, so I'm glad this one had me entertained.

My main problem is that Aiden Bates should dispose of unwanted characters in a better way, so that's why it's 4 stars and not 5.

Riley is stressing over his lying and cheating boyfriend kevin and doesn't want to believe that Kevin is a huge scum bag. He goes to work in Hope's to be busy enough to stop checking his phone and then his eyes and mind wonder to a lone and sophisticated alpha and he cant seem to think of anything else in the moment. Riley didnt expect the events that happened after the alpha requested 20 private dances with him. Riley wasn't expecting this alpha to be the one he would give his innocence to. Max went into the ballroom expecting to get drunk and distracted by the dancers in front of him in Hope's to take his mind off walking in on his cheating ex and gets so much more then he bargained for once his eyes land on a dancer named riley. Riley didnt expect to see the alpha again after that night and after not hearing from riley for 3 weeks, max assumed the same. That was until riley texted max to meet up for lunch because he had something he just had to tell him. I really enjoyed this one. Both characters had been hurt previously and both knew what it was like to have a hard time trusting again. They both have to learn to trust one another in order for anything more to happen between them. This was a cute abs fun read with a few strange scenes. Everything happened pretty quickly as it usually does in the omegaverse and the chemistry and attraction between both characters was immediate. I finished this one pretty quickly and was pretty engaged in this couples story the whole time.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the story of Riley and Max. Riley is an omega who works as a male stripper at Heaven's Ballroom and he was dating an alpha Kevin who was cheating on him. Riley was hurt when he saw the proof of Kevin's cheating, but he put it aside to do his job. During the opening act, Riley went to the crowd and he saw Max sitting there. Riley and Max shared a moment and when Max asked about Riley, he bought all of Riley's private dances for the night. Max was an alpha who was at the club to drown his sorrows after finding his boyfriend cheating on him. When Max saw Riley, they had an instant connection and during a private dance, they agreed to go out to Max's car. They had a one night stand and Max gave Riley his number in hopes he would call. When Riley finally did call after weeks, it was to tell Max he was pregnant. Max did not take the news well and when he followed Riley to his apartment to talk, Riley's ex was there threatening him, so Max took Riley back to his place. They decided they would talk things out and try to figure a way to work it out. While Riley was staying with Max, they became closer and soon they were together, but Max's ex wanted him back and Riley was unsure if he could trust Max. I really liked this story. I loved how Max and Riley connected. I think they were both hurt in the past and unsure how to trust again. I really look forward to reading more of this new series.

Riley works as a dancer at Heavens Ballroom, an exclusive club. While waiting on a text from his boyfriend of one year, Riley is getting ready for the Heavens Angels dance. As the music starts Riley and the other Heavens Angels start their routine and as a new recruit, about halfway through the dance, Riley has to work the floor, looking to find a patron to give a short, teasing dance to, before returning to the stage to finish the group performance.
After finding his omega cheating on him, Max headed to a Heavens Ballroom to forget and enjoy the show but as he watched the dancers he was singled out and enjoyed getting up close to Riley so much that he bought all of Riley’s private dances for the night.
When Riley gets backstage he finds his phone with a photo of his boyfriend with two omegas, obviously cheating with them, he decides to give his all to the Alfa for the night.
That turned out to be up close and personal in the front seat of Max car, with the inevitable consequences of two blue lines on the pregnancy test.
A great story from Aiden Bates. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Almost good

This book had the makings to be really good but the author couldn't pull it off. Few things, one Riley already knew Max's mom died hence the whole gala for breast cancer so to ask later where she was was ugh! I hate when authors don't pay attention.
Two, wth happened to Kevin? He just magically disappeared? I mean come on if you are gonna go so far as to have him threaten to kill Riley then play that up. Three, Riley needed time away from Max as he wasn't sure he wanted to be a father and he needed to put his baby first. A few hours? Seriously?
Four, Max bought a house for them with a dance studio for Riley, yet never read that Riley ever told him that was his dream.
Five, I'm all for the last chapter being from the POV of the next MV for the next book, it worked really well for the Ankhor Series, but this one not so much. It needed another chapter or two of Max and Riley.

I haven't been impressed with the last 2 series by Aiden Bates I've tried, which sucks cause I really enjoyed the Ankhor series.

Felt like half the story was missing

This honestly felt like snippets of a longer story. They went from MC1 feeling insulted and MC2 doubting him to love without basically anything in between. It was supposedly a couple of days, but even that wasn't actually shown, just mentioned. The whole story felt like that.

I know this pen name was actually a group of ghostwriters, (unlike what the publisher claimed), but did they have people writing different parts of the story?

There was little to no climax, nor any resolution. What about the exes? Both MCs' careers? Anything that was touched on? The pregnant MC wasn't even showing until the epilogue! No baby was born. He thought about his morning sickness once and then never apparently experienced it again. Absolutely no omegaverse world building. It honestly felt so shoehorned in.

The premise was good. I liked the club and the bits we learned about that. I was liking the beginning and all that seemed to be getting set up. But then it was like it was unfinished. Just disappointing.

Alpha Max goes to Heaven's Ballroom to forget what has happened and encounters Omega Riley.
Returning home to his pent house Alpha Max finds his now ex with another male and when he tries to kiss him while smelling of the other man Max tell him it is over and to leave. A night at the hottest strip joint seems a good way to forget so he heads to Heaven's Ballroom and the delights it offers. Omega Riley is one of the newer dancers working in the Ballroom and has a boyfriend who is ghosting him then a picture come through showing him in the middle of having fun with another omega so Riley texts him to say they are finished but is left extremely angry. Max sees the beautiful omega and pays for all of his evenings lap dances but when these two angry and disappointed men come together passions flare. A MM MPreg romance tp relax and enjoy.

It was a pleasure to read this beautiful, heartwarming MM romance. The story-line & plot is entertaining, well thought out and written, the pace is steady and not rushed. The characters are well-developed with individual personalities and they react with realistic & believable emotional feelings to the situations they find themselves in.
There is: an alpha trying to console himself after another failed attempted at love (Max Griffin), his cheating ex (Ethan), his pervert of a boss (Malcolm Hayward), a rather naïve but feisty omega has a passionate one-night stand with Max & discovers there are consequences (Riley Landon), his despicable ex-boyfriend (Kevin), caring friends (Noah, Damon & Anders), some twists, some violence, memories, unexpected attractions, fantasies, tension, accusations, verbal conflict, threats, attempted seduction, rejection, heartache, attempted reconciliation, doubts, attempted blackmail, verbal banter, love, happiness, some steam & a interesting epilogue.

A cute and sweet story of 2 men, an alpha and an omega, trying to learn to trust again. On the same night that Max and Riley each found out that their boyfriend was cheating on them, they meet at the club where Riley dances and passion ignites that leads to a one-night stand. Their one night turns into so much more when Riley finds out he's pregnant. But with a slimy boss and exes who don't want to let go, the road to happiness is anything but easy. I really like how Max is so protective of Riley and really comes through when it's most important. I think this is the first time I've heard this narrator and I was very impressed. I think he did a great job with all of the voices in this one. I'm really looking forward to more from this series, I hope it comes out in audio soon! Max and Riley each have trust issues, an annoying ex, and a shared night of passion that leaves them with an unexpected gift. They feel a connection but past experience has made them overly cautious, causes many ups and downs, and has them navigating a minefield of emotions.
I really enjoyed this story, the characters and storyline were well done, with just the right amount of angst, conflict, doubts, laughs, and sizzling passion. Their love felt real and their HEA was sweet.
I also enjoyed the epilogue and the sneak peek at what the next book will be about and I am looking forward to it!

Alpha Max goes out to Heaven's Ballroom to get away from his problems. Omega Riley works as one of the dancers at the Ballroom. Max buys time with Riley and they end up in his car. After a few weeks they meet for lunch and Riley tells Max he is pregnant. Max takes Riley home with him and they are happy for a while and then Riley sees Max with another guy and gets upset and goes home. He does not want to be bothered by Max. Can they come back from this? Will they get back together and go forward? Or is it time to go their separate ways?

Delightful! Absolutely love Max and Riley. Ethan, Max's cheating ex, just won't stay away. I didn't like the way Max wasn't more forceful in pushing Max away. I didn't like Max's relationship with Hayward, his boss. Thank goodness for Riley's good friends/fellow dancers, Damon and Anders. Will Riley and Max get on the same page? Can Max successfully guide them through a courtship? Will Max find a workable solution with his pervy boss? This is another library worthy book. This is a really good story, with great friends. Mr Bates keeping his bar high. I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review.

This is actually a 3.5. I would've given it a 4, but Max made me really mad at one point.

Max has just ended another relationship because the Omega was cheating, so off he goes to Heaven's Ballroom to watch the pretty Omega boys dancing in very little clothing and lots of glitter. While he's there, he spies Riley, one of the dancers, and they make a real connection. A very up close and personal connection.

I really like Riley. He seems like such a sweetie. I do mostly like Max, but there is literally one point where I just wanted to walk into the book and smack him. I got that mad at him.

But, it's a book that I enjoyed overall.

I loved this story and the MC's Riley and Max. These two men both have trust issues and doubts due to past betrayals, but when a one-night stand results in pregnancy, they have decisions to make. To complicate matters, there is an aggressive ex-boyfriend, skanky boss, drama, and heartbreak. There are also good friends to provide support and help find the way to love. I loved Riley and Max, and the secondary characters, too. This is the first book in a new series, and I can't wait to see what the author brings us next.

Steamy and sweet where an unexpected meeting creates amazing romance! Riley and Max are strong and beautiful characters in this Alpha/Omega coupling. I really enjoyed the story-line and found the writing to flow nicely. There was a bit of drama, some soul searching and growth for both MC's.

i loved Heavens's Ballroom and liked the dynamic that was created with the owner and employees. The supporting characters were well done and i do am looking forward to seeing several of these guys find their love interests.

Max and Riley, both heartbroken. Cheated on by the men in their lives.
Max hardworking as loyal as the day is long, comes home and finds his live in boyfriend cheating on him in his own home and kicks him out. Goes to a club to drown his sarrows.
Riley a dancer in a gentleman's club, still a virgin, gets a in star am post of his boyfriend cheating, orgy style, tells him it is over.
They comfort each other this is their story. It is sweet and warm, with a bit of hope.

Max and Riley are great! Riley (a striper) and Max (a client) meet on a night when both have been cheated on my their respective partners. Riley picks Max to focus on for his dance routine and sparks fly. You are along for the ride as they get together, find out their pregnant and navigate each others past and lives to head toward their HEA. This new series set in Heaven's Ballroom (a strip club) has a great cast of secondary characters to continue this series. Can't wait for the next story.

Loved this sweet and saucy mpreg romance! It’s lust at first sight when it comes to Max and Riley’s first meeting. And when they end up having a one night stand something unexpected happens. And that brings the two untrusting lovers back together. But it won’t be easy for them to get their happy ending. They have to jump a few obstacles so that they can both get a happily ever after.

Can’t wait to read Damon’s story! Loved the sneak peak!
