Alone in his Deicoon Palace, the capricious young prince Ael dreams of going on big adventures and becoming a hero. Little does he know that when he meets the young thief Pixie that he is about to embark on a wild journey that takes him to Somnanbulia, a dark kingdom where monsters clash with mythic creatures.
I'm currently trying to thin out my graphic novel collection, so I'm re-reading some comics I haven't read in ages to see whether I still like them (if not, I'll sell them). Pixie was one of the first GNs I ever bought - I was really into manga at that time, as you can tell from the art style - and most of the books I bought when I was still new to the medium I don't like anymore. But I do like Pixie. Sure, it takes a little while for the story to get going, but from about the halfway point I was really on-board with the characters and the world and the story. The constant costume changes are a bit gimmicky, but I like all the designs; it feels like the artist had a lot of fun with them.
this was fantastic. it was a great conclusion to the first, and this one of the only books that was rich with ideas. i thought about it for days. like nonstop. and i sat awake thinking about it. it really was great. the only thing was that i wished that it was bigger than 2 volumes. becuase it really had enough ideas to be a thourough series. but aurore is cranky and probably only wanted to do two volumes.
