Devan and Jade Johnson manage to create a world that is new and refreshing. There are so many original races and a glossary in the back to help you keep track if you struggle to retain them. They have LGBTQ representation in a bisexual protagonist, but do so without it being the main focus. Written at a level that young adults will enjoy, but also deep enough to keep an adult hooked. I personally can't wait to see the next book in the series as I am a fantasy nerd that loves dungeons and dragons, and this book bleeds love and references to the genre while still remaining original and entertaining all the way through. A 10/10 for sure!

This book is so amazing, I LOVE Kheeta, the bisexual Kitsune lead, she's funny and awkward and I see a lot of myself in her. I think the races they created for this book are insanely unique and well designed, my fav are the Paloofs or the Keezor. The story telling is above bar, the jokes land, and it's a simple yet deep story in a brand new world. There's parts that are scary, funny, and even some that are a little sexy, looking at you Aurora. ;) If you like fantasy, steampunk, d&d, or even just a good book please do yourself a favor and get this!

I thought that this book was awesome! I originally picked it out for my son, he's 15 and obsessed with Lord of the Rings and Dungeons and Dragons but when he started reading me a few of the passages I decided to check it out. Look I'm 53 and I remember reading some of the better series as they were coming out and I'm telling you, in both adult and juvenile fiction, The Legends of Rhespira is one to look out for.

Truly amazing, I just got my paper back copy last week and I loved it! I can't wait for the next book to see what shennanigans Bartlebee gets into, he's the greatest. Seriously if you're a fan of fantasy, roleplaying games, or just a good story check this out!

I didn't get more than two pages into it. It ignored way too many rules of English writing, basic things like starting a sentence with an upper case letter.
