I find this book enjoyable. It's perfect for beginning readers because of the sentence length and the vocabularies introduced. The illustration was done in water color and brings out the warm feeling of the story. The book is about a mother and her son hanging out. The son waits for his mom to come home (most likely from work) and asked her if they can go to the park. The mother takes her son to the park and they did many activities together. I like how to story tells of a tired parent willing to put away all her exhaustion to make her child happy. That was heart-warming.

I enjoyed this book because I like hanging out with my 엄마. I also enjoyed this book because in this book another boy was hanging out with his 엄마.

A beautiful easy reader with gorgeous oil-painted illustrations celebrating a Black boy and his mother and the joy of the everyday - a trip to the park, spending time together.
