The prince ruined it.

It was pretty good until the prince got involved. Not only is he kissing girls the first time he meets them, Victoria is jumping all over herself saying she wants a chance with him and is there for HIM right when he gets mad at her? I understand they're young, but it's childish and not what I was hoping for. She isn't as bad as some of the girls, but I had definitely hoped she wouldn't become like the other girls and have a little more independence and strength to her, especially after all she's been through. I really don't know if I'll continue or not, I gave up teenage drama when I was a teenager. Maybe I'm just too old for this book, it might be better for a 14 yr old..not someone old enough to be her mother.

Hard to put down

I had a hard time putting these books down. I had to know what happened next. I am pleased too. there was one "f" word and a few other milder profanities although the books weren't littered with them. They were few and far between. Romantically there were heavy make out sessions and some wandering hand but nothing more explicit. Overall i really liked the stories. definitely a story i would recommend to anyone who likes dystopian

1:
If there wasn't a sequel coming it would've gotten 5 stars!
With so many clones of a royal there can't really be a happy ending but it is one hell of a great story!
Nevertheless I'm still hoping for a HEA in the sequel. Which I'll definitely read!
Because of the physical abuse described, this book won't be for everyone, but I think it adds to the story.

2:
With the perspective of the queen added, she seems more humane.
It must be incredibly hard to have your kid withering away because of an incurable disease.
But all the decisions she’s made have affected so many people, and not in a good way.
This is full of twists, secret passageways and conspiracies. But also love and forgiveness. Defending the weaker is also a good theme.
I’m looking forward to the next book!

3:
I’m a bit preprogrammed because I thought the third in the series would be the last book.
Nevertheless this one didn’t disappoint, plenty suspense and intrigue amongst the royals!
It’s hard to keep track of everyone but that’s part of the thrill.
Because of the chips and malicious doctors you never know who will turn bad next.
Hopefully the conclusion will come out soon and the characters will have something of a happily ever after.

4:
Because there are so many lookalikes it’s sometimes confusing to make out who is who.
And when they are also controlled it is unclear how or by whom. This makes it all the more thrilling!
There’s a surprising ending to the story!
I am relieved and disappointed that it has come to an end.
But isn’t that the case with all good books?

I received a copy of all of the books and this is my honest and voluntary review.

>Book Review – The Royal Replicas: The Complete Series
>I am an independent reviewer. This box set contains the 4 books and the prequel to the Royal Replicas series and ends in an HEA. The first book in this set is disturbingly similar to the book “The Selection” by Kiera Cass. After book 1, though, the series really is very unique. The story deals with 7 clones of a sick princess. A prince is asked to pick one of the clones in order to tie his kingdom with hers. Each of the women look alike, but their personalities are very different.
>Victoria is one of the clones. I felt the story was confused as to what a clone really was. The story stated that Victoria’s memory was wiped back to a certain point in time. Victoria is a clone, though, not a robot. The prince, Byron, was constantly letting Victoria down and also letting pretty much everyone get the better of him throughout the story. Victoria’s first love, Kale, is described as being the son of a lover to the King, but not the King’s son. Later in the story, Victoria and Kale give up on their relationship because they are siblings. They are not.
> This book is appropriate for a young adult audience. I am giving this story 3 stars. The story had a lot of action and a lot of red herrings as to who are the good and bad guys, but more needed to be done with the way the plot help together. The relationship between the prince and Victoria was not developed either and fell flat.

Very easy book to read l

This series was amazing!! I read authors notes after and saw you had people comparing it to the selection?!?HOW!! I feel it isn’t even close to like that especially with all the nitty gritty things in this that I also saw people didn’t like either, but I feel have a lot of character to the characters we’ve seen them at the worst and best their monsters small and large trying over amd over to get them and them prevailing in the end. Th ending was very well done sometimes I feel some are very rushed to fit the ending in and tie up loose ends but I feel you did a very good job at jelling it interesting and neat little turn shouts when things were going badly and made it very seamless in the way everything was tied up and the way the ending didn’t feel abrupt and everyone’s happy ever after you see all the characters growing into their new selves still as if the story could still go on into their happy ever afters, you don’t find a lot of books that do that well believe me I’ve read a tonnnn of books and rarely ever leave reviews apart from stars but I jsut had to after reading the notes on this because while I did feel there were a few tiny tiny that could be tweaked just like any book really there wasn’t anything as a whole that stood out it was a very good storyline overall and flawless ending! 10/10

Fantastic series

I have seen some comments about this series and am shocked by people taking such offense to what does actually happen in the real world and was written with thought and compassion for the main character and other supporting characters. Let's all REMEMBER this is fiction! This is such a good series, I couldn't put it down. I had to know what was going to happen next. The minimal typos aside, this is a very good set of books with a compelling story of heroism, courage, and fortitude. The strong-will and resilience in the main characters and her refusing to be a victim any longer and fight not only for herself but the lives of others are admirable and well written. The action is fantastic and the main characters are well-rounded. It's easy to route for them all and continue the read as you hold your breath for the next situation that arises. You won't be disappointed by this series, give it a read.

I read this version of Royal Replicas, with all 4 books in one Kindle book. Thus my review is for the entire series, 3.5 stars rounded up to 4 stars.

The beginning of the first book is very similar to The Selection. However, once the plot really gets started, it's incredibly different (although the themes remain quite similar).

This is a violent series, although that is true of most YA dystopian novels I've read.

While some of the plot twists were a bit predictable, others took me entirely by surprise.

I also appreciated the moral shades of gray among the characters. Ultimately, there are a few true villains and a few true heroes, but most of the characters do wrong things for the right reasons or right things for the wrong reasons.

A quick and easy read for anyone who enjoys this genre.

I don't understand the hate

Was this a contest like bachelor to become queen? Yes, but so are many others. Some say the author copied The Selection, yet I do not remember the "contestants " having microchips in their brain. As for the abuse, it was used to show Victoria went through hardship but never became cynical. Others are like, well she should have cared about others. She did once and it blew up in her face. Then she was involved in the drama unfolding in her own life. Once one of the victims asked for help, she helped immediately. As for her let it go feeling about it, I do not blame her. She was no longer in the situation and finally felt safe. I loved the mystery, friendships, love, and betrayal found throughout the series.

If you love The Selection, then you’ll LOVE this series!

If you love The Selection, then you’ll LOVE this series! A romantic series with a sci-fi twist, Royal Replicas is fast paced and exciting! From the main characters to the side characters, they’re all very well developed and it will have you sucked in to each character’s own story within the series. Everyone wants a good guy and a bad guy but what if some fall in between? It just makes them more realistic and enjoyable to watch. A must read!

Ok, so I read the entire series. It wasn’t long before I realized there was something off about the writing style of this book. Not that it was bad, per se just different. That’s when I noticed it was written by a man.
LOTS of violence in this book, some that suspends belief, even for a fiction novel. But overall, it kept my interest and as I said I read the entire series. So if you like your violent selection novels with a side of violence this is a series you’ll enjoy.

Wow. It’s such an amazing book. I love Victoria, Constance, Danielle, Eleanor, Jane and Piper! I also loved Princess Amelia. It takes great courage to do what Amelia did at the end of the series; especially giving up her crown. She knew it wasn’t something she could do and trusted her crown and kingdom to Victoria and Byron. I would give this book series a 5 star review any day. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Royal Replicas

I liked this series. It kept me reading to find out what was going to happen. I really liked Victoria. The last book needed a bit more proofreading but I was invested in the story by then so it didn’t provide to much of a distraction. I will be looking for more of this authors work.

Creative and clean

I started a variety of sci-fi books over the past few days but either the detail was missing or there was just too much "mature content". This book series has the plot, the details, the "how is this going to play out", the characters you love and love to hate and without the unnecessary sexual content that so many writers seem to fall back on.

Worth reading

I admit I wasn’t completely sold on this initially, I really had to push myself to keep reading, however by the start of the second book, I was intrigued, and then hooked! I think I’ve read the last three books in 24hrs, because I wanted to know what was happening next! Thank you!

2 ⭐️ bc it could have been...insert whatever here

Y’all, I just can’t. Maybe as another reviewer pointed out, this book is to “teen” for me. Characters have potential, but seem flat. 21 chapters in and I’m still bored.

Great storyline and story telling. There is mention of abuse but it is not graphic, it actually helps form the main character and storyline.

I got through book 1 and the novella. Couldn’t bring myself to read the rest. I was mildly curious about how things would end but I couldn’t connect to the characters enough to finish.

I only made it through the first two books. The plot was interesting and I wanted to know what happened but the abuse was extreme. The content warning for physical abuse was not strong enough. It was more than physical abuse. It was borderline child trafficking and involved inappropriate touching that could be considered sexual assault.

Pros:
-Interesting plot
-Multidimensional characters (not just good and evil)
-Plot twists

Cons:
-There were a lot of abusive scenes
-Some of these scenes had sexual elements
-Most of the first book felt like a book version of The Bachelor
-Many of the plot twists were predictable
