This book presents a sound argument to persuade Christians to do something they should already be doing: fleeing and fighting sin so that God may be glorified in our lives. Wayne Mack explains fairly well the process of sanctification and exposing sinful practices. Either you are killing sin or it is killing you - quite the mantra. I recommend as a great foundation for the truth and importance of sanctification.
- applicable
- perfect for small group discipleship settings
- simply worded
- uses imagery and examples well
- exposes personal sin an encourages confrontation of it
- consistent references to scripture

A good introduction to sin’s seriousness and how to fight it. Very practical. Poorly written at times but simple and easy to read.

Excellent book about the mortification of sin. It may not be the most polished or well written but the truth in this book is worth 5 stars. I highly recommend it.

A book that requires action on your part. If you are not active in killing your own sin it will be active in killing you. Read it and then return to the chapters to study the practical action steps it discusses to help you "Put to death what is earthly in you..." Col. 3:5a.
