A woman ahead of her time
I rarely give 5's but this is a solid 4. She waited on her husband to return from the West and a land deal but after some time she sold out and determined to be with him no matter where. She was in for a great many surprises, not the least of those being that he was dead. Luckily, he had honest men working with him. So she got the right people around her and they set to work. I won't say what but it's a hard to put down book. Good ending.

Felt like I was reading an old Rawhide T.V. episode. A basic good guy bad guy story, and of course the good guys wins.
