OMG!! Lacey you can't leave it like that lol.
This is such a good read. I love Amber, but Rixon well I have a love hate relationship with him and I can't wait for the next installment.

Ugh Lacey did it again to my poor heart! Just at a good part too man! Lol
I was happy to get back to Rixon and Amber’s story!! I loved the first book and how they met. I needed more of them and that is still true with this book! I NEED MORE!!
After what happened with Rixon in book 1, Amber tries to back to her normal life. Still trying to fit in at her new job is proving to be hard. But when he assistant gets her the biggest exclusive interview ever, she is excited but nervous as she has a bad feeling about it.
Rixon, boy does he take a turn for the worse. He still can’t get Amber out of his head no matter how hard he tries, nothing works. He just doesn’t care about anything or anyone anymore. He makes a rash decision with his career, but when everything turns to the dumps for him, an angel comes to show her true colors. Can he handle it?
I do want to point out that it is a quick novella read and sends in a mini cliffhanger like the first but I don’t care! I need to know what happens with Rixon and Amber!
This one wasn’t as steamy as the first but it was still was just as good!

The drama continues with Amber and Rixon in Ruthless by Lacey Heart
Well, this may have been a short read but it certainly didn’t read like one. There was plenty of drama to keep me entertained. I was completely drawn in, and couldn’t put it down.
After the way things ended in the first book, Rixon’s life pretty much spirals out of control. He has fallen off the wagon and has pretty much given up on himself. He uses booze and sex as a way to cope.
Amber tries to forget about Rixon by focusing on her work but isn’t having much luck. Especially when an unexpected Olivia comes to visit and tries to stir the proverbial pot. She wants to hurt Rixon where it counts by using Amber and her connection with the media. Oh and let’s not forget the bomb that dropped at ending..
Yeah, I’m totally hooked and cannot wait for the next one!!

3.5 Cranky Stars
Ok I think I got a lock on that these novellas will drop hints as they go along so I got SOME answers from book two. I think this book was better written then Reckless and you kind of get a lock on who they are as people. I absolutely hated Oliva. I mean I get that she is a woman scorned but jeez calm down.
I still don’t like Rixon. He’s just too abrasive for me. I know he has his reason and I do adore an alpha with an attitude, but he just seems downright mean. He uses women for his own pleasure as a way to beat his demons down. He epically falls off the wagon in this story. He’s skirting the line in Reckless but man he goes for it in this one. Amber I wish I knew her story, so I guess that one is coming up as well. I just want to get a better feel for her. I think she makes a wise decision at the end so I’ll give her that. Fingers crossed. If you like novellas that drop little breadcrumbs as hints along the way then these are for you.
