This is an excellent book of poems and prayers. They are on-level for little kids, and they show that there can be a prayer for everyday activities (School Prayer, Baseball Prayer, We Love a Parade), rituals (Joyful Prayer, Picnic Grace, Grace), appreciation of nature (Creativity, Butterflies, Tadpole Mystery, Our Friend the Firefly) and the Big Questions (Questions, Everywhere). And of course, toward the end, there are bedtime prayers, too (The Moon, And So to Sleep, Night Prayer). The rhymes work surprisingly well and the tone is of gratitude and awe.
