Mister Wrong is the third book in Mika Lane’s Player series, and I really hope it’s not the end. I had a lot of fun with this series, and there are some side characters we got to see throughout the three books I would like to see get their own stories.

With Mister Wrong, Mika Lane gives us another quick read that will have you hooked throughout. It pulled me in from the start, ensuring I was turning the pages at a rapid pace. There were a few things I would have liked more of, a few things I felt were not completely resolved by the end of the story, but this was not enough to lessen my enjoyment. Mister Wrong may not be my favourite of the three Player books, but it was still an addictive read I had to complete in a single sitting.

As with the other books in the series, this one works perfectly fine as a standalone novel. There are references made to the characters from the prior books, but you do not need to have read them to understand what is going on. The romance in this one is complete within the story, ensuring you can enjoy it without any other knowledge.

Overall, Mister Wrong was another addictive read that has me hoping there is more to come in this series.

Dove is an entertainment lawyer dealing with spoiled rockstar and she needs a break. Her friend suggests that she gets a massage from this place called Avalon where she meets James, one of the best masseuses and soon the two fall into a relationship of sorts that involve other things that involve more than a massage. Dove has this cool, rockabilly ModCloth sense of style that I loved by the way. She was stubborn, but has a soft heart when trying to find her twin sister, Deliah who She has been trying to find her addict sister, but wants to her. James loves her ambition and he's her cheerleader which I loved their relationship. I hope there are more books, because there are a lot of side characters I hope have their own book.

4.5 stars. Original plots are few and far between in the romance genre. I have read hundreds of books and this was a new one and I enjoyed the intrigue, the chemistry and character development.

Dove was intelligent, unique and stood up for herself when people tried to take her down a few notches. I really couldn’t find a single thing to dislike about James. At first it seemed he wasn’t interested in a relationship but that changed very soon after meeting Dove. Their relationship was passionate and they both supported and respected each other even when their relationship was under attack.

You will enjoy this book not only for James and Dove, but also for the storyline and the intrigue that goes with it.

I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book. This is book 3 in the author’s Player Romance series, but this book works perfectly fine as a standalone novel. This is another hit for this author! The story is an entertaining romantic romp, this time featuring James from the Agency, and Dove, a successful lawyer. The chemistry between James and Dove is off the charts and their quest to find love is at times heartwarming and at times heartbreaking, but always incredibly entertaining. Beautifully written and full of drama, suspense, humour and sizzling romance, this story delivers on all levels. Fantastic read!

Dove is a junior attorney who doesn’t get enough credit for the hard work and long hours she works Dove is also looking for her sister who has disappeared again plus she’s agreed to run for a vacated seat in the city council so now she needs some pampering so she goes to the Avalon Spa where she meets James. James works for the Agency he’s an escort and a masseuse at the spa something is missing from his life he doesn’t know what it is until Dove comes walking in for a massage. That’s all I’m going to give you guys but I loved this story it’s a fantastic read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Mister Wrong is the third book in An Escort Romance series by Mika Lane and is the story of Dove and James. This is another wonderful book in this series that was a wonderful read. It is well written with a couple great characters in Dove and James. He may be Mister Wrong for her but in fact he is really her Mister Right in every way it counts. But along the way they have a few obstacles to get over together. But once they do will they get their HEA?

Mr. Hollywood is book 3 in the An Escort Romance Series and it has great characters that have chemistry. They may have a few bumps along the way but they were made for each other. She's the 1st person to make him feel anything in years, but she's a client and it might be better for her if he stays away from her. But the trouble is he won't. A must read

Turning Up the Heat

There is something really special about this author. Every book she writes has an original story with real relatable characters, great dialogue, steamy passion, and conflict. Mika Lane did a great job on this story. The plot was written well. Dove and James were strong characters. Even though they were complete opposites, these two were made for each other. Their connection and chemistry was strong. they made a strong pair, they were great together. I enjoyed their journey.

Dove is a single, successful junior attorney in LA working 14 hour days, six days a week. In addition, she searches a homeless camp twice each day looking for her identical twin sister. And she's agreed to run for a vacated city council seat. She's under a lot of stress. A little pampering is in order and the upscale spa Avalon is the perfect place to go. Zenia recently expanded The Agency by opening the Avalon Spa. James has a few long-term Agency clients but mostly spends his days at the new spa. Even so, he's not entirely satisfied with his life. He's successful and wealthy but finds himself often wondering what comes next. When he meets his new client Dove, he can't get her off of his mind. She's the first person to make him feel alive in years. But she's a client and it might be better for her if he stays away. The trouble is, he can't.

Mister Wrong continues the stories of the fabulous Agency men. James is beyond perfection. Too handsome to be real, talented with his hands, and good to his mama. What more could you ask for? I love his every interaction with Dove except for the moments he tried to be self-sacrificing. How about letting an intelligent grown woman make up her own mind! Dove is everything a working woman would want to be. She's successful on her own terms. Of course, she carries guilt as the price of her hard-earned success. The storyline about her twin captivated me. I was also pulled into the stalker storyline, but I wasn't as satisfied with the creep storyline (Scott and Marni). I would have liked to see some comeuppance. Caleb was the perfect example. Each time he tried to get the upper hand, underhandedly, Dove outsmarted and outclassed him. I wanted Scott and Marni brought down. I did love how James and Dove's story played out. I would have liked more build-up to the ending, however; more time to enjoy them without the surrounding drama. This would have been a great book to expand but as it is written, it's a lovely diversion.
