Last spring, new author Dwayne Clayden introduced an all-new thriller series that follows a cop who just cannot seem to ever find himself in a safe situation. Readers first met the Calgary cop Brad Coulter in Crisis Point. Losing his best friend and partner during an armed robbery, Brad takes it upon himself to go after the killers who are also connected to a series of mall robberies. The first of Claydens new series offered promise and more excitement and thrills to come in future books. This ...more

Welcome back everyone to another Mrs. Y Review. Today I take on the sequel to "Crisis Point" and I'm reviewing today "Outlaw MC: A Brad Colter Novel" which is the second in the series by Dwayne Clayden. Full disclosure, I was given a Kindle copy of the novel for an honest review, and I'd like to thank everyone involved with the process for the copy!

To start let me go into the initial impressions of "Outlaw MC", and it was a rather bumpy but catching start. My main issue was that there was an

Just when he thought hed seen the worst, someone took it to another level

Alert! There is a champion thriller writer in the room! Canadian author Dwayne Clayden brought to his first fiction novel CRISIS POINT - a wealth of experience that made his excellent opening of his series - the Brad Coulter novels - completely credible. Now he embellishes that talent with Book 2 of that series OUTLAW MC. He has a depth of experience as a police officer, paramedic, tactical paramedic, firefighter,

Author Dwayne Claydens second book, Outlaw MC is a dramatic and intense follow up to his debut novel, Crisis Point. The opening scene is riveting and a huge hook; I couldnt put the book down!

While this is only Mr. Clayden second work of fiction, he has published several nonfiction works previously. His writing acumen is obvious. His experience as an EMT and police officer make his writing realistic. The plot flies. The story is complex and gritty. His characters jump off the pages. The detail

Fantastic second book for author, Dwayne Clayden in the Brad Coulter series - even better than Crisis Point! This book does not break stride once, and the characters are so REAL. People who know the city of Calgary will love the references to the old days. Looking forward to more!

Dwayne Clayden has raised the bar as a crime novelist. Crisis Point was an awesome read, but this novel was even more exciting. Outlaw MC is even more action packed, leaving the reader in suspense, wanting to read on! Action, Drama, Suspense from beginning to end!

An excellent 2nd book in the series. Though it can be read by itself, I recommend reading the series in order for character growth continuity.

Found a new favorite author! I read his first two books out of order (which stabs at my borderline-OCD, but I got over it :)). Being a born and raised Calgarian, it was an extra little thrill to see all the familiar Calgary landmarks sprinkled throughout the pages. I can't wait for his third novel, Wolfman is Back. I love book series and hopefully the Brad Coulter series will have many, many more to come. Bravo, Dwayne Clayden!

Loved this book! The tension was as high as the stakes, the plot consistently surprising and exciting, and the character development kept me engaged from beginning to end. A perfect addition after Book 1, now following Brad Coulter as he advances in his career and faces some tougher and more psychologically disturbed foes--and even more unlikely odds! Dialogue was sharp and witty as I've come to expect with Clayden's talented writing skills and I couldn't turn the pages fast enough! Anyone who ...more
