Extremely funny!

This was a hilarious book. The two main characters, Trent and Greer are really good together. They hate each other from the start and find that they have to work together and they both move in to a new apartment building. The following day when they each leave for work, they find that they are also neighbors.

Ok first I need to say that I love the name Greer and if my uterus wasn’t closed I would name my next child that. I have a serious hate-love (ok hate-like) relationship with the heroine. She was hilarious at times and at others I just wanted her to tone it down a bit with her snarkiness and dramatics. To each their own of course but I don't like exhausting people. I like them more chill and not so over the top but that's just my personal preference. Is this why she said she's high maintenance? She's just not my kind of people I guess.

Okay maybe because I went into this just thinking it would be a fun easy read with a light storyline OR maybe because it was just a plain good book…..I’m not quite sure, but this ended up exceeding my expectations.
Was it an absolute favorite book or a clearly outstanding book? Maybe not, but it was a really enjoyable book.

I definitely enjoyed this enemies to lovers romance and Greer was fucking hilarious.
The Billionaire Boss Next Door had me laughing or smiling like a complete idiot from start to finish. One, I hope to never forget about drunk Greer. Two, I loved the bantering between Greer and Trent. Three, I fucking called the midnight kiss and everything else that happened after that.

This book is a enemies-to-lovers, opposites-attract romance. The prologue to this was a nice touch, and had me intrigued and keen to read on. I’m happy to say here were some good laughs in this read.
The book focuses on super focused and hot Trent and snarky and overdramatic Greer, who has taken a much-desired job, but without realizing that her new boss is 1) the guy she insulted the previous evening; 2) her new next-door neighbour; and 3) her boss.

Sadly, The Billionaire Boss Next Door felt like a cheap reboot of another billionaire series from the pen of Max Monroe. It hadn't managed to bring anything new to the table, because you can easily pair off characters from that series to this one's.
It bugged the hell out of me, along with the fact, that the supposedly-adult people acted all like kids on sugar rush. My head hurt, my mood was so down and I was so happy to see the ending, especially after the lame dramatic twist that was introduced ...more

It feels amazing to be back in Max Monroe’s billionaire romance world!
The Billionaire Boss Next Door is a hilarious, steamy, and fantastical rom-com that’s just a bit over-the-top, but in a totally good way. This enemies-to-lovers, office romance will have you doubling over with laughter and swooning over the entertaining story line.

When the eye rolling and the snort/laughing equal out in the end, you know that you ended up enjoying the ride (even if the eyes are a bit sore from all that rolling) and I can’t deny that I enjoyed the whole opposites attract/enemies to lovers crazyness that Greer and Trent (and their crew) put me through. Max Monroe is back with a brand new series about Billionaires. The Billionaire Boss Next Door is such a great start to this new series. I’m really excited about the rest of the books in the series. We meet so many great characters, that I’m sure we’ll see more in other books. This takes place in New Orleans and the setting was absolutely perfect. The friendships between both Greer and Emory and the boys was probably my favorite part of the book, and I hope we see a lot more in the series!

ARC kindly received in exchange for an honest review.
I'm always keen to jump into another Max Monroe book, and I was interested to see what this would be like, being another Billionaire themed book. It took a little to warm up for me, around the 20% mark is when I really started to think things were picking up, and was finding myself invested in the story.
I liked both main characters reasonably well, and I liked both Quincy and Cap, but I'm still unsure how I feel about Emory. This ...more

Good story of a couple who gets together through the machinations of the good friends. Greer is an interior designer who's business is going under and is in desperate need of a job. Her friends helps her out and gets her an interview for a job to design the interior of a new hotel in New Orleans.
Trent is waiting to take over control of his father's company, but his father is so controlling that he doesn't trust him yet, if ever. Trent's dad goes sill far as to hire Trent's ...more

Hilarious
OMG... the banter between these two is hilarious. A very unique, quirky heroine (Greer) and a stern, hot, rich hero (Trent) get off to a very rocky start. I absolutely loved Greer, for me, she was the star of this one. A light hearted read, not steamy enough for me, but it had a captivating storyline and the getting to know you took you through a fun journey till the end. 5 stars to this author.

2.5 stars. I really struggled with this book. I feel like the author is trying to go back to their "billionaire" roots and this missed the mark for me, and while I really liked their original billionaire series, this one felt like a cheap knock-off.

I’m in a horrible book slump, y’all. I’ve really enjoyed this author’s books in the past, but this one fell flat for me to the point that I wasn’t able to finish. It was with a heavy heart that I had to DNF at 37%, even though the vast majority of the other reviews for this book are super glowy. Maybe I’m under caffeinated and grumpy because of it? I dunno. But I don’t feel good about this.

This was my July 2020 Pick for Me Challenge, chosen by my girl, Layne. Thank you! I enjoyed this one. It was a quick, beachy kind of read...which I'm living la vida RV right now, so it totally works lol! Nice to see some of the previous characters from the authors' works...although it isn't entirely necessary for you to have read all books before this one. Interconnected standalones, is accurate. 3.5 stars.

The Billionaire Boss Next door is a hilarious and beautifully written romantic comedy by Max Monroe, that I couldn't get enough of. My God, the sass, the sarcasm and the banter, I couldn't get enough. My eyes rolled back in pleasure over the characters brains more than their intense chemistry. I mean, what do you do when you have a job interview with a potential client who could change your entire life, but the day before meeting him you unknowingly insulted your boss' work? Man, I can't tell yo

When Greer and Trent first meet, it’s not in a boardroom or an office for an interview but in a workout room. Greer knows design and much to Trent’s annoyance, she’s truthful in her assessment of his father’s hotel. Greer is hired as the interior designer for the new Vanderturn New Orleans Hotel and Trent is overseeing the whole operation. Talk about an explosive beginning. To add fuel to the fire, they wind up living right next door to each other. Their hatred for each other grows with each pas
