Ruthless Bastard. White Knight.
But I just call him “boss.”

Thomas Goldstone.
A man of billion dollar deals in custom-tailored suits, he demands more than your best.

He’s scary. Driven. Haunted by inner demons that have taken him to the brink.
But beneath the arrogant, controlling façade lies a heart of gold.
It makes me want to solve him one growly, messy piece at a time.

Title: - Beauty and the Billionaire

Author: Lauren Landish

Publication:, Publication: January 27, 2019

ღ . This is a good opposites attract story- Thomas has some serious demons he fighting, Mia is straight up nerd that does not realize how beautiful she truly is… Mia is all computers, video game & anime… Thomas is all spreadsheets & profits

Mia Karakova has been working in the basement of Goldstone Enterprise as metadata analysis for about 6 years … And she just fine with that. But when

Beauty and the Billionaire has got to be one of the best stories I've read from Lauren Landish yet! It was a different read from what I've come to expect from her and I loved absolutely every minute of it.

Thomas was a self-made billionaire, driven, ambitious, and determined to succeed beyond expectations. He lost his mother at an early age and endured his father's abuse for years. This all made him wary of making lasting connections, trusting in only himself.

Mia was quirky and awkward (at first)

Hello, swoon! Lauren Landish is back with a brand new twist on an old fave you totally need in your life. Beauty and the Billionaire is all the broody, beastly goodness the title suggests and so much more.

Tall, dark, hot, and haunted is a potent mix for any nerd girl who's just been hired on to work for the infamous Thomas Goldstone. Then she meets her boss, the beast himself upstairs. Fantasies aren't what they seem. But twisted fairy tales? Oh, mama.

Truly a one-click to remember.
Never Stop Reading or Dreaming
I had to DNF this. No matter how hard I tried i couldn't get passed how boring it was. Man did I try. First, I only bought this book since the FB ad showed a plus size woman, and the h was NoT plus size. Which is fine. And second, they sleep together really fast. There was like no story there it was just boom, you are on this time I like you I'm gonna do you, and it happened like that. I made it to chapter 12 and just can't do it anymore...

Nice steamy story. Now on the 2nd book of the trilogy but they can each be read as a stand alone story, for those wondering. To me they're just better if read in order.

An enjoyable read as opposites fall for each other. The chemistry between the main characters was depicted well, and I loved how Mia embraced her geek nature and never tried to be anything else but who she is.

Mia was a fab fit for Thomas, who is referred to by many as The Ruthless Bastard because of how hard he pushes everyone in his company and how he can easily rip an employee to shreds if they don't meet his expectations. He expects perfection and that's down to years of physical and mental

I feel like I must have read a different book from everyone else who left such glowing reviews. This book is unbelievably boring and trite. It's like 50 Shades meets *snore*. Seriously.

This is a one star but think of it as a nice one star because I have read books so much worse and more offensive than this but I can't get myself to give this a two.

Oh my god I'm dead. I can't stop laughing at how actually fucking wild this book was. It wasn't good at all but I found it so hilarious??? I feel like a super jerk for laughing hysterically at something that is a serious romance book but I am sorry, this really got me laughing.

I'm not repeating that ridiculous title so we can pretend
I closed the kindle at 18% and couldn’t read on. Time
to call it a night.

Luckily this was on kindle unlimited so I haven’t lost anything - other than my time.

While the writing wasn’t great, the premise of the book sounded interesting.

I forced my way through the first few chapters and it seemed to pick up. The Heroine stands up to hot arsehole boss at work, he’s taken a back and turned on... the start of some angst, maybe?

He immediately tells her to meet him at 8pm that night. Which

Wow, oh wow! I fell in love with Mia straight off the bat. Her personality was unique and she was quirky, fun loving, anime obsessed, death metal loving chick. And awesome at her job. She doesn't take no cr*p from anyone, even Thomas! She loved her Father and her friends with everything. She was the only one who got see the real Thomas and his softer side. The chemistry between these two was off the charts and their sex life was so, so hot.

Thomas! Well what can I say about him? Well he's called

The things I read because my friends insist I get to the sailor moon roleplay

Okay so, this is DEFINITELY a one-star book, but like Jaye said: it was hilarious and kinda fun to read.

This is supposed to be a beauty and the beast retelling but let me assure you - it is NOT. Our beauty is a girl named Mia who is a geek (pls don't worry if you forget this at first, she will remind you at least 60 times) who works at a company owned by a billionaire named Thomas. I think it's a company that works

Thomas & Mia
Office romance can be so questionable especially when he is the hard nosed, secretive, stoic boss that runs the company like his life depends on it. When Mia the fun, quirky, brilliant data analyst is asked to join a progressive group at the office she has her qualms . She is used too being in the shadows as she has for the past six years but her amazing work soon brings her in the spotlight and in the sights of Thomas . The moment they meet each of them can feel the attraction

This story had me so wrapped up, I spent my whole snow day curled up reading. I'll admit when I started I was a little leery. I mostly avoid books with Billionaire in the name anymore, not totally into the whole him being rich as a focus thing nowadays. I should have known better- when has Lauren ever written anything that wasn't just amazing?
Mia is quirky and nerdy and super awesome, she made me laugh and I have crazy respect for her. Thomas is rough around the edges and insecure with a huge

Beauty and the Billionaire by Lauren Landish a five-star read that will turn many heads. The White Knight with a dark side, what a troubled by amazing character Thomas Goldstone is. He really has a great talent for showing people how to bring out the light and beauty they hold inside them. I must give special praise to Lauren for showing Thomas’ past in such a meaningful and honest way, I can understand his story as I share some similar aspects and what they say about boys and their mothers is ...more

It has been a while since I read a book by Lauren and I have to say I loved this story. Mia is such a great character. She made me laugh and sigh and hope for the best for her and Thomas. She is a wonderfully strong character. Then you have Thomas. He is a mess. Everything that happened to him as a child is still with him. But Mia is his total opposite. She is his light to his dark and hopefully will make him see what he is missing out on.

But while they are finding and fighting for their love
I couldn't get into this.

Heck Lauren still carries on doing some fantastic HEA's.
Here we meet Data Analyst Mia Kasakova who's been brought up to start into looking at a new area for billionaire CEO of the company she works for Thomas

Here we see how he can can fly off the handle but it also sees when he pulls Mia in about her work that things start to unravel. Not only does he starts to see that, even though he had noticed her, it's not until a she tells
I’m not quite sure what made me pick this book to read. I have hundreds and I think that’s WAY low balling the number. I usually avoid billionaire books but I’m pretty sure I got this one for free on Kindle Unlimited. I think it was the “Dirty Fairy Tales” series name and I was feeling like a ‘dirty girl’ (snicker) I figured it would be a kind of telling of a Beauty and the Beast type storyline and I’m a sucker for those.

And I like it. Quite a lot actually. I had a few issues which I’ll get into

Great plot, wonderful characters...4.5

Mia Karakova has worked for Goldstone Inc. for years but has never met her boss, Thomas Goldstone. Well, it’s pretty hard when her office is in the basement of Goldstone building. Her unorthodox work mode of rocking out to techno music and screeching Russian profanity at the top of her lungs while geeking out on her computer doing metadata trendspotting scares most of her co-workers. Yup, her genius knows no limits when her geekdom is let loose. Ms. Landish

I smell a new series! Beauty and the Billionaire is about CEO Thomas Goldstone and data analyst Mia Karakova. I did feel their coupling was quick but Thomas was a man used to making people cower. Mia showed strength by not shrinking while he reamed her out. It appears someone is out to ruin Thomas. Can Mia help or will she become part of the fallout? This story has romance, intrigue and a hook at the end to snag you into the next book that I can't wait for. This is a voluntary review of an ...more

Great Story!

Love Landish's modern-day Fairy Tale. Great chemistry between the main characters and likeable side characters. Plus a little bit of a mystery to solve. Will definitely read from this Author again.

What a wonderful story. Another one of Ms Landish's must read books. Thomas and Mia are such a great couple. Thomas is the true alpha male. He is dominant in the boardroom as well as the bedroom. He does have another side to him that he hides from everyone. because of a tragedy that happened to him when he was young and the subsequent treatment from his father he is constantly fighting his demons. It affects the way he is with people around him. Mia is the upbeat and happy woman who is able to ...more

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Mia works for Goldstone Inc., in the basement in data analysis and market trends. It's lonely down there, but it's where she does her best work. Mia is smart and capable and has just been assigned to a team that will ultimately answer to Goldstone's CEO, Thomas Goldstone. When it comes to business, Thomas is arrogant, controlling and ruthless. He's a strong, confident CEO, but it was his past that made him vulnerable. Still, he's all

WOW, OMG, HOLY ****, Those are just a few words i would use to describe how i was feeling after i read this story.
I have always loved how authors re-write fairy-tales and give them a modern and steamy twist and of all the variations of beauty and the beast i have read this one has to be my fave.
The characters are amazing and you will love mia and all her quirky nerdyness, you will at first not like thomas much but you will come to love him, mia's 2 friends izzy and char are hilarious and one of

Lauren Landish is back and she has written a fantastic story with a brand new twist on a classic. This is a modern and sizzling twist on Beauty and the Beast.
Beauty and the Billionaire is about CEO Thomas Goldstone and data analyst Mia Karakova. Thomas was a man used to making people hide from him while Mia didn't do that. Mia stood up to Thomas- she didn't shrink in the face of his anger and was willing to help him even after he was so nasty to her. Someone is out to ruin Thomas - Mia works to

DNF at 24%

This is not at all what I thought it would be. As many other reviewers have stated, the pacing is slow, the writing is not engaging and a bit cumbersome, and the "relationship" between Mia and Thomas went from 0 to 1000 in 0.023 seconds. I'm not opposed to insta-lust, but their first time together came out of NOWHERE and left me dumbfounded. I don't really care for Thomas as a hero, and other than him being known as "The Ruthless Bastard" I don't see how this books coincides with the
