What On Earth Is About To Happen For Heaven's Sake: A Dissertation on End Times According to the Holy Bible

II Peter 3 in the Bible tells us that the scoffers in the last days would be "willingly ignorant" of the creation, the flood and the coming judgment. This book gives a brief overview of the evidence supporting the biblical view of creation and the flood and gives an easy to understand explanation of what the Bible teaches about the coming tribulation time, the rapture of the believers, the time of God's wrath, the battle of Armageddon and end of the world. In addition there is a long section on what we should do in light of what is coming. This information may be vital to keep many from "falling away" as predicted in II Thessalonians 2:1-3. Dr. Kent Hovind taught high school science and math for 15 years before beginning the ministry of Creation Science Evangelism in Pensacola, FLorida in 1989. His fast paced, highly illustrated and humourous seminars have been translated into over 40 languages. He defends the biblical view that the heaven tand earth were created in 6 days about 6,000 years ago. He also defends the Bible as being the inspired, infallible, inerrant Word of The Living God.

Kent E. Hovind (born January 15, 1953) is an American young Earth creationist and conspiracy theorist. Hovind has spoken on creation science and has aimed to convince listeners to reject scientific theories of evolution, geophysics, and cosmology in favor of his interpretation of the Genesis creation narrative from the Bible. Hovind's views are contradicted by scientific evidence and some of his ideas have also been criticized by young Earth creationist organizations such as Answers in Genesis.

Hovind established Creation Science Evangelism in 1991, and frequently spoke on young Earth creationism at seminars at private schools and churches, debates, and on radio and television broadcasts. From January 2007, Hovind served a ten-year prison sentence after being convicted of 58 federal counts, including 12 tax offenses, one count of obstructing federal agents, and 45 counts of structuring cash transactions. He is incarcerated at the Federal Correctional Institution at Berlin, New Hampshire. He was released in 2015.

An excellent book for study or for reference! Dr. Hovind does a great job from Creation to Revelation. He does a great job of separating out what he believes, what he speculates, as well as, giving a snippet view of what others propose. He lets you know the things that are doctrinal, in his mind, and those things which he is willing to discuss. He has a Biblical basis for everything he speaks on and explains. He does, in my mind, a phenomenal job in explaining what he believes will happen to mankind in the end, and what we should be doing...but aren't.

More pseudoscience nonsense from a person with a diploma mill “doctorate” that spent jail time for tax evasion/fraud. The book is absurd. I would rather give it zero stars but not sure that’s an option

Enjoyed this study of the Bible. Answers some eschatological questions that I've had for many years.

I like that Kent puts predictions out there based on end times and what to look out for. Good book overall
