Sue's story of transforming from victim to survivor is captivating and powerful. This book can be and should be used as a great tool for victims of any type of abuse and for medical professionals to better understand the impacts of physical and psychological abuse.

Sue's testimony of overcoming abuse and not losing her faith and strength is a quite remarkable. Her story through her struggles delves into the behind closed door view that those who've never experienced first hand abuse, may not have known could be taking place right next door.
