This is the first book I have read by Leah Diane and it won't be the last. I loved every minute of Hades and needed more from some of the characters because it is so amazing. You get just the right amount of angst and suspense in this story that it will leave you wanting for more and at the edge of your seat.

At first it started out slow for me then it started to pick up and Hades oh boy I just loved Hades and how he was with his daughter. He was loving, caring and protecting of her and his famil

I really enjoy my supernatural reads
And when an author offers up a story that features the more 'human' traits of the gods personas - I'm all in
This had the making of a five star read
Great cast
Solid storyline - it does get a bit complex at times but the pieces fit together when the time is right

Sadly I could not get past the editing issues. I kept having to re-read passages which pulled me out of the storyline.

I read a copy via kindle unlimited

Leah Diane is a new to me author, so I wasn't sure what to expect when starting Hades. It was a good story with a lot of potential for great as the series moves on. It was hard to get in to at first, as it seemed really slow, then out of nowhere, it picked up big time. And while I really love it when the actions starts, in this case, it took me a bit to figure out all the players, as there were a LOT of them with the lightning quick pace. Hades was a complicated fellow, and I loved how Ms. Diane ...more

I had a really hard time with this story. It was incredibly slow to me. I normally finish a book regardless but I just couldn’t on this one. It isn’t that it is written bad or the story is terrible it was just so slow. I would have liked to see more in it. I think it can be an amazing story but not for me as it is. I will say that I loved Hades mindset and the support characters in the story. It was well written in the grammatical sense.

I am going to try to finish this story and will update my

“Before I started reading I was sure this book was going to be unique and sure it was but I felt something was missing. I couldn’t figure out completely the reason behind the story. Yes, we did have past and present moments but the background story was somehow confusing yet I enjoyed what I read. Before I blinked the action started, it happened really fast! Hades was strongly devoted to his daughter, I loved seeing that part of him. Leah created a world somehow complicate with so much characters ...more

This book is great! The action starts really quick. As much as we see action, we also see the God of the underworld interacting with his kid! He is such a sweet one with his daughter! There is a lot of characters that appears in the book, maybe a little too much to handle, but at the same time, they are helping with building the universe Leah created.

If like me you love mythology and supernatural, this book should be on your reading list pretty soon! So go on Amazon and pre-order it right now!

Great debut book!! Hades is really devoted to his daughter after the mother’s death. Typically Hades is the bad guy in all paranormal stories but we actually see a different side of Hades, the loving and devoted father. The only criticism I have for this book was the past and present kind of blurred together for me it really wasn’t defined. It for me seemed like in information dump. But on the positive side if you love paranormal and mythology this is the book for you. I will read the second boo ...more

This books started off pretty interesting but when it got to part 2, it got pretty confusing pretty fast. I couldn’t really understand what part 2 had to do with the prologue. The past and present really made no sense and then on top of that, there were more characters added to the story that was never in the prologue. All this Information dumped on you but no backstory to make sense of what’s going on.

I had hoped for a story that would keep me on the edge of my seat only to find myself tossing my kindle to the end of the couch. The amount of misspelled words and run on sentences just made it to painful to read without have to backup and move forward on a constant bases. The plot was a good one, but it didn't deliver. ...more

“Hades” seemed like an interesting story. I couldn’t figure out why he was chasing and killing demons or why he built a home for his daughter with that much demon activity. The story is slow-moving and I felt lost and wondered why I was reading it. I didn’t finish this tale, it’s not for me.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Leah Diane is currently in her mid 20s, she's the Author of Book of Curses, The Darker Side and Shadows in the Dark.

Her love of writing first started when she was 8 and came upon her local library in school and after time she found her first love - Hawksong - in which she learned the love of the Paranormal.

Looking up to Authors like, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Julie Kagawa, Stephen King and a few others.
