This book is an M/M Romance, and it’s for matured adults 18 and over. Taylor Knox never cared who he fell in love with as long as he was in love. It could have been a woman or a man. He just needed to feel his heart skip a beat when he met that special someone. Taylor craved that crazy-falling-in-love feeling that when he met Payton Bailey who had a fiancée, he overlooked that minor inconvenience when he aimed his eyes and heart in Payton’s direction. When his heart and body quivered, Taylor knew that Payton was the one, and he made promises he knew he would keep. But there were problems not because Payton was a straight man but because neither men could see into the future. This is Book 3 of the M/M romance Boys with Toys.
When I first started this book, I was confused because I didn’t understand the book, nor did it relate to the description. But once I was halfway through, I got an understanding; because Taylor and Payton have flashbacks of how they meet. I thought for sure it was going to be base on Taylor's friend Max... I was like what in the world.
But I glad it turned out better than my confused mind could handle when I first started. I could tell that Payton had a lot of jealousy with him. When it came to Taylor, you could tell by how he acted when it came to Dylan. I was glad that Payton did leave. Because it showed Taylor that he cared more about Payton and his feeling not only that he didn’t have any feelings there for Dylan anymore.... since he felt some type of way about Dylan during Max and Jamie's wedding. Not only that. I felt like Dylan was a petty man; he was aiming to get Taylor back, not only that he wanted Taylor to cheat on Payton. I was glad that he didn’t, especially when Taylor woke up at Dylan’s house after getting drunk at that LGBT 🏳️🌈 night club.
Half the time, I felt like Dylan was following Taylor. But I was also glad that Payton told his mom that he was gay and was married to a man. She not only learned about him being gay... she also met his husband Taylor when Taylor finally went to find him. But what got me was how Payton saw Taylor at the club with Jay. He got jealous. I was like ain’t he in the club with Elliott? He was ridiculous on that part because they both were living with men who they weren’t doing anything with, smh!
I also thought that maybe Payton was gay but didn’t know it until he met Taylor. Because no way someone would date some girl or gay then dates the same gender as them. Unless that is what they wanted, but I was glad in the end, Taylor got his husband back and decided to go to counseling to work on themselves and their marriage.
But after reading this, I want a book with Elliot and Jay. Plus, will Taylor adopt Jay? I hope so!
When the perfect match has some difficulties and the marriage gets confusing and uncertain due to misunderstandings, it may take extra efforts to get things back on track.
Worrying about your partner's state of mind and bodily needs can mess up your own mind. When the basics are working, get back to what brought you together. Then build from there.
Repeating the highlights and avoiding the pitfalls helps remind of the special events and rebuild the dreams. Focus on the family and friends.
I voluntarily give this book an honest review, At Max and Jami's wedding a old flame show up. When Taylor saw the man taking the wedding photos it brings back old ,emotions and memories that he never told Payton about. When asked he brushes it off until he pushes Payton to far, when Payton runs, Taylor spirals down a dark hole of his own making had they just talked. The two was both stubborn but who will give first? Can Taylor prove his love to Payton or had he lost the only man he really loved because of his own stupidity. This was such a moving story of the struggles trust and commotion that can rip a relationship apart.
Boys With Toys book three by Sky McCoy. These books are getting better with each one. I’m loving the characters! I liked the storyline. My only complaint is I’m not a big fan of Cliffhangers. These aren’t bad though. It doesn’t really end with you feeling like your missing out on something. So far this is turning out to be a good series!
Oooh. I had some feels reading this one. Taylor and Payton kept me on my toes, hoping for a HEA but dreading that one might muck it all up beyond repair. It was great seeing the other boys and glimpse more of their stories, too.this story had drama/angst, a dose of humor and lots of heat. Definitely recommend this book and cant wait for book four.
Payton and Taylor's story is the next installment in the series that upholds the level of the previous parts. Plenty of feelings, a plot that pulls you in and MCs you want to hug and smack on the head at the same time. The good book is the one that makes you feel what the characters do and this one surely delivered!
Sky this was a great book I enjoyed it and can't wait to read more. Didn't want to put it down. Keep up the great work and I can keep enjoying the work.
Boys with Toys 3 was fun wickedly sinful entertainment. This book centers around Taylor and Peyton’s marriage. The two have many issues to overcome but are willing to work out their differences. The story is moderately paced with plenty of angst.
Loved this book, marriage takes a lot of work having a jealous partners and when communicating is not done well that is a recipe for failing the marriage in the end it takes a lot of work
good story.. good characters.. good love and sweetness.. and i enjoyed the emotions involved for both of them and together.. it was interesting and i liked it
