Quiet Mind Epic Life: Escape The Status Quo & Experience Enlightened Prosperity Now

Rate this book
Matthew Ferry presents his Rapid Enlightenment Process inside his new book Quiet Mind Epic Life.

Enlightenment is not a place. It’s not a destination. It’s a state. It’s a point of view. Enlightenment is a contextual framework that makes living an epic life possible. Let me give you my definition of Enlightenment so you understand our end game together…

Enlightenment is the recognition that the source of life within you… is also the source of life in everyone else… and everything else. We are all one thing expressing itself with infinite variety.

When you truly see that the source of life within you is also the source of life in everyone else, and everything else, you enter into an enlightened state. When you see that we are all one thing expressing itself with an infinite variety, and the only thing that makes us different, is our perspective about it…. boom! Everything changes and fear disappears.

From this new perspective you rise above the limitations of cultural conditioning. You don’t have to follow the rules anymore. Everything is up for evaluation. You see dogma for what it is, just stories that were made up by well meaning people. But stories none the less. Not valid. Not true. Not real. Finally, you feel free. The invisible barriers disappear.

This is what I want for you. This is the promise of Quiet Mind Epic Life.

Heard the author on a podcast, thought he was amazing. Got his book, hated it. This book reads like a manifesto for a cult leader, it's very creepy. I'm not sure the disconnect between what I heard on the podcast and this book but there's a definite one.

It was a good book, but I got lost. I believe the intent of the book is genuine and provides some very mindful concepts, but it went in circles frequently. I understood a lot of it, maybe it was the mindset I am currently in, but if the reader might isn't open-minded, I doubt they would make it much past the first chapter. The author makes a pretty bold statement at the beginning of the book, but I wasn't able to see how he was going to meet such a promise.

Get off the self help roundabout

Great book. There is information in here that I have not come across before and has actually helped quiet my mind. By quiet I mean a reduction of the useless and annoying ruminating, going over the same stuff most days. I know it's ongoing work but it's worth it. Great book, thanks Matthew.

I tried. Because there were some good sentences, some points being made that resonated with me.
Unfortunately, the intro is too long, there are too many repetitions, several spelling/typo/grammatical errors amd in the end I just could not stay focused on it long enough so I kept re-reading parts which did not help the feeling of repetitions. Maybe there are some intresting points in the "how to do it", but I just gots tired of being told "we will see in the next part" without getting to "the next part".
At least the author did what he preached, got past the fears and wrote a book and published it. Yet the fear of how would other respond to the book might have helped here to get an editor to clean up the text and help readers get the message.

The ideas are contextually sound but...

I found the ideas in this book to be contextually sound, but the content was messy and repetitive. Besides the fact that it was poorly edited (riddled with grammatical and spelling errors,) the slow and repetitive nature of the book made this slightly less engaging than I would have liked. The tools used in this book, particularly at the end with the daily challenges, were helpful in application though.

Do Nothing: Successfully!

This is a "no bull" "all-access pass" invitation to jettison one's armor for an embrace of a lover. Clear, concise and committed to engaging one in a scary place, then leading to the Truth. We are all One and in this soul-soup together! May as well enjoy the ride! Wa-hoooo!

For those of us on the journey towards enlightenment this book reaffirms our understanding that everything (every thing) is part of the Source of All Creation.
It provides good simple explanations and reminds us to keep that knowledge in the forefront of our minds and guides our interactions through our journey.

I’ve had this book for a long time and tried getting through it several times, but I’m a DNF with no regrets. Too many good books waiting for me to slog through a book with typos and way too much repetition with no substance.
