In a world where the Celts did not lose to the Romans, nowadays there are still druidic schools in Europe, at 27 Lania’s life is in a spin. She sees her life as a Parisian wondering where her dreams of child and the magic that surrounded her have disappeared. Yet still looking for her place in life, society and something that would resonate within her soul. But in Avalonia, the school that trained the Priestesses of Avalon had not forgotten such. So when she decided to join the school and enter its country with strange rules, Lania has nothing left to lose. For her, it's now that everything begins. The ability to finally live. Her life will be transformed by this trip, in Europe, at the centre of the world.
In this debut novel that takes a new look at feminism and the place of women in society, you will discover a new way of seeing the world through Breton spirituality, folklore and Celtic culture.
A wonderful sequel to the Mists of Avalon series (MZ Bradley), Harry Potter, and Bridget Jones Diary lovers.

This was a really interesting read. As a Priestess of Goddess it is always lovely to see other Priestesses writing and inventing worlds filled with Goddess in all Her wondrous aspects. I really enjoyed how the real-time (present) Priestess of Avalon Training was blended into the story of this book, it felt at times like I was doing my Spiral 1 and Spiral 2 in Glastonbury again, so nostalgic! That kind of showing of lineage and continuity made it very evocative. I really liked the set up of the world-building. It was quite immersive but felt rushed at times. There were some minimal typos and inconsistencies but they did not distract from the story. I am really happy that I have Book 2 already so I don't need to wait and can continue with the story straight away!
A very empowering read. This was full of action right from the very start. There was a good build-up and the world-building was impeccable. A fantastic read.
