This was a nice little story with not too many characters.
June, the heroine works as a typist in a solicitor firm where hero Russel works as a partner. June is an orphan and enjoys her work. When 2 of her colleagues are taken ill, it's on June to do all the work in the firm, and she is completely burdened with it. She slogs day in and day out . Hero Russel, who hardly noticed her till then, begins to see her in a new light. He is practically engaged to his partner's daughter, who is a spoilt girl and always taunts June and throws her weight around.
June, who is all alone in the world, befriends Quentin, who is a grandson of a rich guy and does nothing in life but lives on his grandfather money. June feels she is in love with Quentin as he charms her every time they meet
Finally, she sees his true face, and all the while, Russel hides his feelings for her. In the end, Russel reveals his feelings for June, who reciprocates, and it ends with HEA.The writing by this author was very good.
