Terrific book and conclusion to the Bree and Tanner series, and another one that kept me up well past bedtime to finish it. After a year together, Bree's wedding to Tanner is only two weeks away. The book opens as Bree is spazzing over wedding preparations. All she wants is to be married to Tanner, but the wedding has taken on a life of its own thanks to her friends. Looking back over the year, Bree sees the progress she has made toward becoming more "normal," but there are days she wants to hide away. Meanwhile, Tanner is beyond ready for the wedding and to show the world how much he loves her. I've loved seeing the development of their relationship, from wariness and distrust to incredible teamwork and belief in each other. That teamwork is called upon yet again as they face off against a dangerous opponent.

Bree is at the women's shelter late one night when a suspicious fire breaks out. She and Tanner are confident that one of the residents, Marilyn, is the target of the attack. The uncertainty is intense as they and others attempt to find the truth and stop the attacks. The frustration is evident as everything points to Marilyn's abusive husband, but nothing can be proved. Hoping to give Marilyn, her kids, and two other residents a pleasant break, Bree, Tanner, and his brother Noah, head for the woods for a camping trip. When the group is attacked and becomes separated, it's up to Bree and Tanner to protect the kids until help arrives. The suspense is intense as Bree and Tanner race to stay ahead of their pursuers. I was on the edge of my seat as the hours passed and the players shifted, leaving Bree and Tanner to play decoy. The tension continues to build even after arriving home, with a feeling of impending trouble. The final confrontation was a nail-biter that had me glued to the pages until it was all over. I loved the strength and courage that both Bree and Marilyn showed as they took control of their fates.

I loved the ending. It was so emotional to see the town pull together to make sure that the wedding happened just the way Bree and Tanner wanted it. I especially loved what the women did for Bree that made the wedding so much more special for her. And after all of Bree's angst over writing the perfect vows, she came up with the perfect lines. Tanner's were great, but Bree's were quintessential Bree. I also enjoyed the conversation that Tanner had with his brother Noah about Marilyn. I hope to see more of them in the future. There were also a few cross-series mentions of both Linear Tactical and Omega Sector books, which always makes me happy.

Yet another fabulous romantic suspense from Janie Crouch! This one finally brings the reader to the wedding of Bree and Tanner (if they can make it to the wedding alive in spite of all the suspenseful events). My favorite part was their life-threatening adventure in the woods. I was impressed with how much the author knew about hiking, camping, and survival in general. I really hope the wedding plans do not mean this series will be ending since I hope there will be a lot more action from Bree and Tanner even if they get married. I highly recommend this book and all the books in this series.

Bree and Tanner are finally getting married...you know, if they can survive until the wedding!! They will Risk Everything to ensure they say "I Do".

The focus in this story is not just on the wedding plans (which Bree hates because she is so anti-social), but also on the women's shelter, New Journeys, and the troubles happening there. When Bree nearly dies, Tanner tries to figure out who would have wanted to set fire to the shelter, but not kill anyone. With a house full of abused women, there are no shortage of skeezy ex's as suspects. Bree and Tanner have to figure out who has the motive, the means, and the opportunity-because it seems their suspect doesn't have the opportunity. Because this is book four focused on Bree and Tanner, you really do feel their love for one another. I didn't realize how invested I was in seeing them go through the various stages of their relationship since I usually only read stories that focus on one couple for one book. Bree and Tanner have 4 stories, but they are together in all of them, so you really see an organically budding relationship.

I also enjoyed seeing more of Noah! He is starting to get feelings for Marilyn-a single mom who has a very disturbed husband. Noah has been dealing with his own struggles and it was great to see him step back into the world.

If you enjoy a mystery, some tech genius stuff, a cop with a heart of gold, and a small town full of wonderful people, you will enjoy the entire Bree and Tanner series, and Risk everything is the icing on the (wedding) cake!

Risk Everything by Janie Crouch is Book 4 in the "A Bree and Tanner Thriller" series.
Book 4 finally brings readers to the wedding of Bree and Tanner - that is,if they can make it to the wedding alive since it appears that Bree is back in the crosshairs and Tanner is determined to keep her alive. What started off as they simply were planning their wedding, ends up saving the life of a woman who Bree met at a women's shelter. This book has suspense, intrigue, angst, twists, turns, danger, action, friendship, romance, love, passion, and beautiful feels. I enjoyed reading the story and seeing how Bree and Tanner end up. I would hope that this series would continue with more romantic suspense books written with them but that's my opinion. I liked the chemistry between them and the stories of how they solved each one.

The wedding is two weeks away

If they survive until then...

Following a fire at the New Journeys women's shelter, Deputy Tanner Dempsey is on high alert, and his fiancee, Bree Daniels, fears that one of the shelter's clients is being targeted. ••••••••••••

REVIEW: 3.75 stars--RISK EVERYTHING is the fourth instalment in Janie Crouch’s contemporary, adult BREE AND TANNER THRILLER romantic, suspense series focusing on Bree Daniels and Deputy Tanner Dempsey. RISK EVERYTHING can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Bree and Tanner) RISK EVERYTHING focuses on the weeks before Bree Daniels and Deputy Tanner Dempsey wedding. Hoping against hope to elope, Bree finds herself the center of attention, attention she would rather place on someone else. As the big day approaches one of the women (Marilyn) at Bree’s New Journeys’ women’s shelter discovers that her soon to be ex has been released on bail, and a suspicious fire at the shelter points to the possibility that Marilyn and her children’s whereabouts have been found. Keeping a promise to Marilyn’s children (Eva and Sam), Bree and Tanner, along with Tanner’s brother Noah, escort the mother and her children for a few days of camping, camping that places everyone in the direct line of fire. With the children’s safety a primary concern, our leading couple, find themselves the target of some very dangerous men.

RISK EVERYTHING is a story of vengeance and betrayal; of power and control; of love, loss and happily ever after. Janie Crouch pulls the reader into a fast paced, suspense filled tale of one man’s need for retribution as Bree and Tanner try desperately to keep everyone safe. The premise is engaging; the characters are colorful and charismatic; the romance continues towards a happily ever after. My only concern is the questionable decision to move forward with a camping trip when threats to everyone’s lives are still in place-a little bit TSTL.

It’s been a wild courtship for Bree and Tanner, but things seem to have settled down and their wedding day is drawing near. Bree is in a tizzy over the dress and writing her vows, but she’s determined to show Tanner just how far she’s come since their first meeting. Tanner is ready to claim Bree as his wife and show the world how much she means to him. However, when a fire breaks out at the women’s shelter Bree works at, Tanner and Bree once again find themselves in another dangerous situation...hopefully their last.

Bree has come so far since the first book. She’s more outgoing, confident, and still has her practical smarts to keep Tanner intrigued. I love how Tanner and Bree’s relationship developed into one of teamwork and trust, but even I was surprised-and highly entertained-by Bree’s reluctance in making wedding decisions!

From start to finish, each book in this series has been an adrenaline rush of action and suspense and a solid romance in calmer moments! Crouch has done a great job with this series, but I’m not ready to say goodbye! I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a story about Noah, Marilyn, and her kids...or even Cassandra;)

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from Harlequin and Netgalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Can I live in Risk Peak? I'm a city girl but, I would love to live in a community that wholeheartedly embraces the people that live there. Their caring, their support and their love is truly inspiring and makes you wish for better in reality.
Bree and Tanner are one of my favorite couples. They are perfect, adorable and a forever couple. You can tell that they have the real thing especially in this book. Bree and Tanner are a team that weathers any storm and they do seem to get in the middle of them. The drama is scary because it is more realistic than their other predicaments. Marilyn and her two small children, Sam and Eva are living at Bree's women's shelter, New Journeys waiting for her abusive husband, Jared's trial. Unfortunately, Jared isn't giving up on being with his wife to the point of dangerous extremes. The spine chilling events that befall the small camping expedition that include Tanner, Bree, Marilyn, the two children, Tanner's brother Noah, and two other woman from the shelter is hold your breath intense and it feels like you are looking down from a ridge too high and are powerless to help. The deadly ordeal in the wilderness is not the last of their troubles and Bree and Tanner's wedding is only days away. They need that pledge of forever to say when the words don't always come.
I highly, without a doubt recommend this book.

I didn't know this was a series and hadn't read the previous books so I was a tad lost in this one but it was still an enjoyable read. I loved the two main characters and how much they loved each other. Love the ending as well! Perhaps I;ll go back and read the others now....

I've been reading Harlequin Intrigues since I was 13 and love that even after 31 years, I still find enjoyment in them just as much as I did back then. I love that I can sit down with one and finish it in a few hours, and not feel guilty about abandoning my mom duties.

Risk Everything by Janie Crouch did not disappoint. I finished it in a few hours and absolutely loved everything about Bree & Tanner. Normally, I don't start a series on the fourth book, but I didn't know this was a series until I started it. I'm still glad I read it because it definitely can be read a stand-alone but it also made me want to go back and get the first three books. That is the indication for a five-star rating to me.

Bree and Tanner are about to get married and their lives are busy. Tanner is a deputy and Bree is a computer hacker/programmer who runs a women's shelter with Tanner's sister. The cast of characters in this story are wonderful, eccentric, loving, and broken. I loved Marilyn and her kids so much I just wanted to hug them and protect them from all the evil in the world, especially her ex-husband. Janie knows how to write a villain and she did it to perfection with Jerod Ellis. The twists and turns in this story as Bree and Tanner try to keep Marilyn and the kids safe made for tense reading, but the love Bree and Tanner have for each other kept the feeling of loving protection on every page. I was especially impressed with the wilderness scenes for their vividness and accuracy. The wedding planning offered a lot of levity in the story and anyone who has ever planned a wedding will relate!

Risk Everything was a page-turner from the first to the very last page. I was sad to find out this was the last book in the series because I'm DYING to read Marilyn and Noah's story. He was so sweet and loving with her that I know Janie could write a comeback story for Marilyn that would make all of us swoon. I am definitely going to finish the Risk series and hopefully, Janie will continue to write great intrigue like this one for years to come. Make sure to pick this one up, you won't be disappointed!

What an amazingly explosive, intense, emotional, fierce and severe ending to the enchanting series that has captured my mind over the summer.
Staring this new type of serial novel series from Intrigue where the same couple faces different kinds of danger and suspense on their way to their happily ever after over the four books - I knew two things:
One: I am not a fan of serial novels
Two: I would read anything Janie Crouch writes. And she certainly didn't disappoint.

The journey with Bree and Tanner has been filled with edgy situations, deep emotions, awkward moments, tears, fear, laughter, and swooning sighs. From their meet-cute to the end, Bree and Tanner have had my full attention while they captured my heart. I can not say enough about them, you have to experience the magic, the undeniable connection that is Bree and Tanner, yourself.
The thrilling action has been fierce, and especially in this last installment, Risk Everything, where they are not only against seasoned cruel criminal minds but against the unpredictability of wilderness - one of my favorite type of suspense - I literally read the book through at one sitting, without even realizing it, cause the enchantingly unputdownable tale!

I loved how the author shined a light to the very sensitive and tough issue of domestic violence, with the utter respect towards the survivors. Noah, Dan, Cheryl and the whole secondary gang of characters were drawn with deep characteristics, they were people I grew to love and care for as well. And when the crumpy, antisocial but generous old man Henrikson comes and saves the day - I was enamored!

I have truly enjoyed the RISK series and the danger and peril filled journey of Bree and Tanner. I will miss them, but thankfully these books are definite re-read material, and perfect for binge-reading! All the four books are out now, so for those who do not like the wait in between installments of serial novels, you can now just read them all at once!
A fabulous, smashing ending to the thrilling, killer series

USA Today best-selling author Janie Crouch expertly blends romance, action, passion and suspense in her latest novel for Harlequin Intrigue, Risk Everything.

For the first time in ages, Bree Daniels is truly happy. Sure, she cannot help finding shopping for her wedding dress exasperating thanks due to her demanding friends, but she is about to marry the man of her dreams, Deputy Tanner Dempsey and she simply couldn’t be happier. Bree cannot wait to walk down the aisle and spend the rest of her life with Tanner. After years spent constantly looking over her shoulder, Bree has found somewhere she belongs and a man whom she loves with all of her heart. However, when a fire breaks out at the women’s shelter she runs, could her future with Tanner be in danger?

Tanner is on high alert and he is determined to do whatever it takes to keep Bree and the women living in her shelter safe. As Bree and Tanner begin investigating, they quickly realise that one of the shelter’s clients is being targeted by a dangerous enemy who will stop at nothing to cause complete and utter destruction. With risk and jeopardy round every corner, can Bree and Tanner unravel a menacing plot of vengeance and revenge and save not just the refuge, but also their future?

Will Bree and Tanner ever make it down the aisle? Or is a future simply not on the cards for the two of them?

Janie Crouch’s Risk Everything is a captivating tale packed with twists and turns, red-hot passion and nail-biting suspense that will keep you on the edge of your seat and turning the pages late into the night. Bree and Tanner are fabulous characters who are so wonderfully drawn that it is impossible not to care about them and you will be rooting for them and willing them on to get the ending they so richly deserve.

A fantastic read you will struggle to put down, Risk Everything is another excellent romantic suspense novel by Janie Crouch!

Outstanding read!!!! I'm a fan for life!!! This was a fabulous romantic read with all kinds of great suspense and had me flipping through page after page. This is the conclusion of Bree and Tanner's 4-part series and I couldn't have loved it more. Bree and Tanner's wedding was just two weeks away and she was freaking out. Bree has tried hard to be "normal" but the wedding chaos is more than she can handle. She just wanted to stay out of it and let her friends make the plans. Bree was working late at the women's shelter when a fire broke out. Turned out that it wasn't an accident. She suspected Marilyn's ex but he was in jail. Wasn't he? Bree and Tanner were a team so while Tanner worked on the case, Bree kept the women and children at the shelter safe. Not wanting to disappoint the kids, Bree, Tanner and his brother, Noah, took some of the women and children on a planned camping/hiking trip. When the group has an "accidental" boat mishap and became separated, Bree and Tanner protected the children until help arrived.

If you like great characters, never-ending suspense, unusual circumstances and reactions, with a sweet HEA, you've picked the right book. Tanner and Bree were more in love than ever and although they had a steady uphill battle towards their happy ending, at least they fought it together.

I love a great story that holds me captive. This book does it with a mixture of suspense, surprises, and romance. A perfect combination! I was given this book in consideration of my honest thoughts.

Seriously, this was a great book and I can’t wait to read more from this author!

This book reminded that victims often remain victims (no judgment ♥️)but you also have those that become an inspiration .

I'll be honest,  I laughed ,I cried ,I cheered, I screamed and yelled.....i was scared at times but then there were times where I was fearless .....an epic 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟read !

When I'm first introduced to Bree I can't help but giggle, she can face a gun ,a knife and a bad guy but wedding planning has her jittery 🤣

Bree and Tanner have been through quite an ordeal and the wedding was supposed to be fun but poor old Bree is so stressed out with all the lace ,questions, flowers and stuff I think she's ready to run away 🤣but New Journeys, a women's shelter she helps run, gives her purpose. She identifies with the women there, she's been one of them ,she knows that fear.....

The Tanner nearly looses Bree ....a fire broke out at New Journeys and Bree rushed in to try and stop it ,if Tanner didnt arrive when he did wed be planning a funeral and not a wedding.....everyone is on high alert ,there's a threat lingering around ....

One of the tenants at New Journeys has a restraining order against her husband ,he nearly beat her to death and hes out on bail so at this point in time he's our main suspect but his ankle bracelet shows he's never left home but I get th creeps, the hair on the back of my neck stands on end ,I don't trust the situation.....

Man alive my shattered nerves!!!! Bree is a machine with nerves of steel ! Marilyn ,I have no words ....you are so very brave and you rose above your circumstances, you are not a victim ,you are a survivor and a warrior and your kids will learn from you !

This was first published on my blog "Lecture toute une Aventure"
My opinion:
Perfect!! I can't believe it's the last of the series as i really want more of Bree and Tanner as well as Noah. This was just the right balance of action, lot of suspense, romance with wonderful touches of humour. Also some scenes with the women of the city are simply too wonderful to describe, i nearly cried with emotions.

Bree is preparing her wedding as well as working at the women refuge and she made great progress since her arrival in Tanner's life and the road has been quite tumultuous. I really loved to see her grow in her social skills and becoming a real partner with Tanner. Also all the characters seemed more than realistic, the way the women at the shelter react and such which immersed us even more in the story.

Tanner is really a god man and his brother who has a bigger role this time than in precedent books isn't less wonderful, protective and loyal. I loved the way he reacted to Marilynn and her children. Tanner is determined to protect Bree and those she care for which means the women at the shelter but he wasn't expecting things to get worse so much and so quickly with Marilynn ex husband ...time to get proofs is diminishing as the wedding approach but no matter what it's against them Bree and Tanner are the greatest team ever!

This was fabulous from the start to the end, read in one sitting and i just hope to get more of the whole group. To recommend ( can be read as stand alone but i do advice you to read the whole series in order).

This is the second story in a series but works well as a standalone, too. Computer coding and hacker geek, Bree Daniels, is getting married to Deputy Tanner Dempsey in a couple of weeks and everyone is determined to help make this the wedding everyone will remember – though the pressure is getting to Bree who is more reticent and is definitely not looking forward to saying her vows in front of about 500 folk. However, there’s danger on the way for this couple, deadly danger which starts with a fire at the women’s centre, New Journeys. They suspect one of the shelter’s families is being targetted but proving it and protecting them from her abusive ex and his friends is going to prove difficult – and could stop the wedding!

This is a fast paced, suspense filled romance where you’re never sure what will happen next. The characters are great and you really have to feel for Bree as she struggles to compose her vows and is dreading the big day’s audience. The community is brilliant, especially how they come together to help and protect their own. Tanner and his brother, Noah, are superb heroes and I really hope Noah and Marilyn get together properly in a future book in this series – and her children are delightful, too!

I have no hesitation in highly recommending this to anyone who enjoys reading edge of your seat romantic suspense! Many thanks to the publishers for gifting me a copy of this book (via NetGalley) which I have chosen to read and this is my honest review after doing so.

(4.5) Pulls out all the stops and smacks every emotion. Book 4 in the 4 part series with Tanner, alpha law man and Bree , computer nerd takes us on a wild ride that leaves us HEA and wanting more. Let me jump on the Risk Peak Bandwagon, surely we can have Noahs story, maybe a novella? I love watching Bree grow, having faith in herself, tackling challenges and having Tanners back. Tanner needed her watching his back in this one! I love the strength in Tanner, letting Bree be Bree and supporting her in everything she does as she learns about relationships - people to people. The background of this one will touch the heart of many. Bree and her future sister in law start New Journeys, so aptly name to help abusive women get a new start in life. Janie kept it real here, some leave on their own, some go back believing the abuser will change, and some put one foot in front of the other at New Journeys to search for a better life. When a fire is started, and proving sabotage, we are off. I will say when the paramedic wanted her to go get checked out, I screamed NO, DON'T GO. (My husband was like, huh?) We travel through wilderness, camping, rivers, children, no children. I don't want to give out spoilers :( This one took us from the comfort of our town, to the hills and back. Great ending to this series, thank you Janie Crouch for the arc. I am always taking little side trips with you via your books. All thoughts and opinions are my own and were unsolicited.

If you haven’t read anything from Ms Crouch, I highly recommend her Risk series. Risk Everything is the 3rd (and final ?) book in Janie Crouch's "Risk" series. The main characters, Bree and Tanner, are finally getting married, when more trouble finds them...not from their past--as with the two previous books--but trouble from someone else's past. Bree's friend, Marilyn, has an abusive Ex-husband intent on getting his wife and kids back under his control. The story revolves around Bree and Tanner trying to obtain enough proof to send the abusive ex-husband to jail while providing a safe haven for Marilyn and her two children. Tanner's brother and ex-seal, Noah, volunteers to provide the protection for the abused mom and kids (I sense another story in the making…) There is non stop action, romance, and even a little humor to entertain.

Anyway, Risk Everything is another must read by Janie Crouch, especially if you read the first two books in the series. They all tie together wonderfully (but each could stand on its own).

Take your own risk and buy the book as well as the series. You won’t be disappointed…well... I WAS disappointed--but only that Tanner and Bree's story ended. I’m just hoping to see more of the other characters she introduced through this series. Great book! Great series!

I received this book as an ARC for an honest and voluntary review. This is the 4th book of a 4 part miniseries. Bree and Tanner are days away from their nuptials and as their norm they can't have smooth sailing. One night while Bree is trying to come up with her wedding vows at New Journey's the women's shelter she co-runs with her future sister-in-law, there is a fire. It was quickly determined it was arson. It didn't take Tanner long to figure out it was the ex-husband of their den mother Marilyn.
Not wanting to disappoint the children, Tanner agrees to continue with a camping trip, which of course is fraught with Peril. Thankfully Tanner's brother Noah also decides to go on the trip, to help his brother or because he cares for Marilyn? hmm that may be the million dollar question, and thanks to The Linear Tactical Series, this reader thinks that Noah is sweet on Marilyn. Do I sense another book? I sure hope so, because I liked the residents of Risk Peak Colorado and would love to visit with them again.
Tanner and Bree to walk down the aisle and finally get their Happily ever after, but not without some bumps the night before the wedding. Can we say Murder and Mayhem?

This is the fourth book in the series and they need to be read in order. Bree and Tanner’s wedding day is close. Bree is thriving at New Journey’s shelter. Things get scary when the husband of one of the women staying there gets out of bail. Things start happening and everyone is on edge. Tanner and his brother, Noah are doing everything they can to protect the woman and her children. Things take another turn when they go camping. Bree and Tanner must protect the children and stay out of the hands of the men after them. Things are looking good when even Bree can’t use her computer genius to catch the guy. I love Bree and Tanner so much. Noah played a bigger part in this book than he has in the others. I hope that means that maybe will be get a Noah book. I love this book and the series so much. Bree has changed and grown so much with the help of Tanner and the people of Risk Peak. Tanner is great. He helps Bree put doesn’t try to shelter her or act like she is incapable of doing things. Bree is a computer genius and I love that she isn’t just some damsel in distress. I can’t recommend this book enough or the series. Really all of Janie’s books. Congrats on another fantastic book Janie.

A gripping final installment to the series!

Bree and Tanner are only weeks away from their wedding. They have both fought through so much to be together and learn to trust, communicate and invite intimacy. Throughout the series, it seems like the punches keep coming and yet our couple continue to fight to remain together and to serve justice.

What a long way Bree has come. Previous alone, lonely and disconnected from her emotions, Bree is able to connect with her emotions and now has a fulfilling relationship with the one man who understands and appreciates her uniqueness. Tanner has also learned to get beyond his own intimacy issues and can't wait to begin the rest of his life with Bree. It is all either of them want.

When a new danger comes to Risk Peak, Bree and Tanner are in harm's way once again. Placing their lives on the line for those they love, they risk losing it all.

It's so great to see how far these characters have come over the course of the series. Knowing about their difficult pasts and all the hardships they have faced both separately and together, you'll stay on the edge of your seat to see if our couple can overcome the odds stacked against them. This story will grab you and not let go until the action-packed finale.

Five stars for this intrigue romance.

This is an honest, voluntary review of an ARC of the story.

How is it that this couple keeps getting better and better and each time leaves me wanting more of Tanner and Bree. This fourth instalment is just as amazing and heart pounding as the others, as Tanner and Bree find themselves once again fighting for their lives and this time there’s more than just the two of them who they have to keep alive.
Holy smokes...oh man...the adventure in the forest felt so real, like I was there running with them and trying to escape alive. Not only that but Tanner and Bree...what a couple!!! I LOVED reading about these two as their love grows with each and every book, and this one as they are getting ready for their wedding. I LOVED reading how Bree grows in each book, becoming more social and interacting with others and I LOVED reading how Tanner goes into alpha protector mode with Bree in each read.
This read had me on edge with the suspense, laughing at some of the antics of the wedding preparations, swooning at the love between them and misty eyed near the end at what the town ladies do for her. I LOVED how she found a family and home with Tanner and sad that their story has ended.....and hoping for MORE from this author on Tanner and Bree !!

This book is apparently apart of a series but I wanted to dive in anyways. So far I've read the first and fourth book I guess I have more reasons to check out what goes on in the previous two books because I loved how this book ended. I couldn't help but while reading this book get a feeling of Deja Vu and just didn't get it until I stopped reading to see if I did indeed read the first book. Point is, while it is a series it can be read as a stand alone but its wayyy better when you read them in order then you'll get whats going on with certain points that are mentioned.

That aside this was a great mystery suspense novel. Not much I can say without spoiling the series because this is the ending of one, and not much I can give away that isn't already in the description of this book. But I will say that this book is a pretty great mystery suspense novel. Bree and Tanner are finally getting married and the time between when this book starts and the wedding day is swiftly getting closer. There are plenty of things to think about and of course a mystery is thrown into keep things complicated yet interesting. High stakes, risking their lives t

Risk Everything is the final book to the fantastic series that features Bree Daniels and Deputy Tanner Dempsey. Like in the previous 3 books, this one had all the goods; tons of action and suspense with myriad of sweetness thrown in.

We start off on a lighter note with Bree preparing for her wedding that is supposed to take place in a couple of weeks. She is so uncomfortable with all the hoopla over the wedding. All she wants is to become Mrs. Tanner Dempsey, but the women of Risk Peak are so beyond excited for her and Tanner, she just tries to go with the flow. But of course things do not stay light for long. Danger surrounds Bree and the residents of the new women’s shelter, New Journeys. What ensues is another rollercoaster ride of action and suspense. A fun camping trip turns deadly and a harrowing experience to survive. The tension throughout is high, with children involved and bad guys with guns, I was at the edge of my seat. But again it just showed how well Bree and Tanner work together and are there for each other through thick and thin.

The ending was absolutely perfect, the swooniest way to finish off this amazing series. And even though this was the end to this series, knowing this author’s style now, I have a feeling we will be seeing them again. I am really hoping for a book for Noah and Marilyn! I definitely recommend this book, but I highly recommend all 4 to get the full experience.

This is the final book in the Bree and Tanner series, although I wish it could go on forever! I just love this couple, the socially awkward computer genius and the alpha hunk! Janie has done it again!!

Everything about this book was amazing. A fire at New Journeys, a place for abused women and children started by Bree and Cassandra (Tanner's sister), is set on fire and begins the new adventure for Bree and Tanner and their adventures always take a dangerous turn. I have loved watching the love bloom between the two of them and was anxious to find out if their wedding was going to happen as planned. Janie takes you on a whirlwind of action and the love between the H/H is palpable with ever page read.

This is a standalone book, but personally I think it's much better if you've read the entire series. I'm really sad to see this series end. The characters are so well-developed and you can't help but love them. Of course, Janie's books are all great! Disclosure: I received an ARC of this title, but it wouldn't change my review if I hadn't!

Bree and Tanner are fighting together to help their friend Marilyn and her children stay safe from an abusive husband. The husband is rich and has some powerful people helping him get his wife back. The obstacles they all have to overcome are elaborate and never ending. Bree with her genius brain and Tanner with his law enforcement mind are up for the challenge and will do everything they can to protect their friend.

Bree is one of the best characters I have ever read. I just loved how she fought her weaknesses and came out a very strong and capable women. Tanner was her equal and they complemented each other. The secondary characters in this story are outstanding; I just loved Noah. This was a great series and one that kept you in suspense from the very beginning. The excitement and anticipation you feel when reading just shows you what a great author Janie Crouch is. I have never been disappointed in anything she has written and I always look forward to her next story.
I received a copy and I am voluntarily leaving my own honest opinion.

This is book 4 in The Risk series and we are at the conclusion of Bree and Tanner‘s story. Marilyn and her two kids were living at New Journeys. New Journeys is a woman shelter/safe place for women and children escaping domestic violence. Bree and Cassandra run this wonderful place. The story is about Marilyn and her husband, who is awaiting trial for attempted murder on her. This is about his psychotic need to control her. This is about Bree, Tanner and Noah trying to keep Marilyn and her kids safe. In the background of everything is the planning of the wedding and a little romance brewing. I’m not sure if this new romance will be in this series or another but it’s definitely happening.

As you know, if you’ve read the previous books, it’s never simple for Bree and Tanner. I cried! I cried big, fat tears. Oh, not at the wedding because that was typical Bree and Tanner style, but before that. Read this awesome book/series and you’ll need your tissues by the end too. BRAVO! Awesome story and as always, amazing characters!
