Intercession: The Heart Beat of God

Rate this book
If someone were to paint a picture of God’s mighty army arising, I think you’d see mama’s pushing strollers, babies with rattles in their hands. You’d see little old ladies with false teeth in their mouths. You’d see the outcast, the castaways. Those who have been written off by society, as not being able to contribute anything of value. You’d see ex-prostitutes, ex-pimps, and ex-addicts, because when God was looking for a man to stand in the gap and make up the hedge— these were the ones who answered the call.

Catrina J. Sparkman – Author of Doing Business with God

Come along with the author on a journey from Genesis to Revelation as together we study what the God of Heaven and Earth has to say about this marvelous communication device called prayer. Learn important warfare tools, and commonly held misconceptions about intercession. Explore themes such as: the role of the prophet during corporate intercession, the role of the watchmen who stands at the gate and what happens in the unseen realms when we pray. Learn God’s expectations for humanity and why intercession really is the heartbeat of God.

Catrina Sparkman’s work is extremely readable and inspiring. This book has helped me so much, in a very practical way, to understand the role of an intercessor and has deeply stirred up this gift in me. Thank you Sister Catrina!
