ARC received from Edelweiss in return for an honest review.

This book was sadly a DNF for me. I was left really confused on how this book was for children. I have read creepy doll books for children before, but this one took it to a whole new level. I was also amazed at how they were just dropping talks about doing brain surgery on the main character's brother in the first chapter. Captivating from beginning to end! It felt as if I was a part of the adventure crew, trying to solve the mysteries with these amazing characters. Absolutely CANNOT WAIT for the next book!!!

Entertaining story about two young thieves who get more than they bargained for when they break into a "deserted" mansion and find their way into an imaginary realm where the world they knew is duplicated - but with strange and even horrifying differences.

The odd prophecies of Wally’s brother were intriguing at first, but after multiple rants, I became ...more

I had gotten an early copy of this book and sincerely enjoyed it. The genre is one that I have eternally liked. The characters in it were perfectly three dimensional, and the plot was really good in execution. The amount of devotion put into this book was amazing and I frankly can’t wait for the next book to be available!
