Nice book. I Loved looking at the artwork, recognising guns, scorestreaks and multiplayer maps etc. and also recognising quotes that the Specialists said in both Black Ops III and Black Ops 4.
Ruin’s story was a little too basic and uneventful, but the next one (Prophet) was a little better.
The Crash story was pretty boring, but Firebreak’s was interesting/emotional and intriguing (focusing on his sister which does link back to his cinematic in the actual game).
Torque’s story was fairly average, and Recon’s was the worst so far.
Nomad’s story focused on his relationship with his K-9 unit dog (Jeanu) which was pretty good, as was Seraph’s story which introduced Savannah Mason which I was hoping would happen eventually. After the cinematic cutscenes of Savannah in the actual video game, I was glad to see more of her (despite it not really going anywhere due to focusing on the specialists).
The final two (Ajax and Battery) were pretty good.
It was a little disappointing the fact that the series didn’t include issues based on the other specialists (Outrider, Reaper, Zero and Spectre) but at least Prophets story included Reaper as a main character, as well as Battery’s including Outrider.
Overall, I’m happy with the book and the quality (paper, build, printing) is fantastic.
Issue rankings:
1. Firebreak
2. Battery
3. Nomad
4. Prophet
5. Ajax
6. Seraph
7. Torque
8. Crash
9. Ruin
10. Recon

This was a great read, this "Official Comic Collection" consist of all 10 issues in Hardbound edition.
Each issue deals with a different character (that I can only imagine are in the game).
Donnie "Ruin" Walsh
David "Prophet" Wilkes
Jarrah "Crash" Bazley
Kieran "Torque" Mackay
Krystof "Firebreak" Hejek
Tavo "Nomad" Rojas
Katsumi "Recon" Kimura
He Zhen-Zhen aka "Seraph
Kerk "Ajax" Rossouw
Erin "Battery" Baker
Their stories are diverse does much to explain in part how these soldiers came to be who they are. Some of the stories are very sad and some uplifting, but all are entertaining. Filled with action, this reads very quickly and leaves the reader satisfied.
A great book both in contents and aesthetics and would go great on any library

I don’t usually write a review while reading the book, but in this case is book is effing awsome. I can’t stop reading it, and I have to restrain myself from reading more just to let it last for a couple of days. The artwork is good the storyline is excellent. Plus, it has an emotional charge to the actual storyline as well which makes it even better and I can relate to the characters even though I have not played the game it was pretty awesome and I played the game. It would’ve spoiled the book.
I highly recommend this book. Please read. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Not having played the game there was no basis of comparison. As for a graphic novel it was ok.

Honestly I didn’t like it as much as I thought I would have. It’s nice but it was a bit confusing I won’t lie, I love the art and the storylines though, it’s a nice read overall.

A collection of stories each following a different operator and each story is good to varying degrees with some clearly worst then others but still not outright bad
