A strong and compassionate soldier cowboy and an equally strong, fierce heroine meet and fall in love in this heartwarming Christmas novel, where the Garrett family provides the safe and loving cocoon for the new romantic couple.
I fell in love with the hero, a former Army Ranger afflicted by PTSD and trying to return to normal life. The balance between largeness and sweetness, strength and kindness and compassion in Zach’s
Thank you NetGalley and Source Books Casablanca for the Review copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Uh, so the fourth book in the series. The prior novels characters are included quite often. Zack has come back from the war and has PTSD. Stephanie is a firefighter who saved these two kids she wants to adopt. They meet and have a connection. There’s a bad guy who’s trying to hurt Stephanie because of her saving the kids. This book just seems rushed. The two meet and go on a few dates. Then

A Cowboy's Christmas Homecoming by June Faver is a Dark Horse Cowboys novel and a beautiful love story between Zach Garrett, a newly discharged soldier and Stephanie Gayle a local firefighting badass. Zach's father had died while he was overseas and his mother, overwhelmed, sold the ranch Zach had always thought would be his. Stephanie had rescued two children from a fire after their stepfather, right in front of them, had murdered their mother. Not really a match made in heaven, or is it? ...more

He’s come home from war, haunted by PTSD and trying to fit in to what has become an alien world so Zach isn’t sure he’s up for a noisy, boisterous Garrett Christmas. Stephanie Gale is a firefighter and EMT, who got her life under control…until she locks eyes with Zach and realizes her heart is in a whole new kind of danger.

This holiday romance warms the heart while tugging at every heart string a readers has and there is absolutely no one could not fall far this solider cowboy. The emotional

Cowboy Christmas Homecoming
By: June Faber

I fully expected a possible rendition of a Hallmark movie with this story. And I wasn't wrong, which is both good and bad. It's good because Christmas reads should be warm and fuzzy feel good stories. The elements of love, trust, belief, redemption and home were all represented. The bad is that the threshold for

I don't know why I bothered when the other two books in this series fell incredibly short. This one left me feeling the same way. DNF 24%. Constant repetition, no real character development and desperately in need of a good editor.

Talking about Stephanie..."she's....awesome!"

What grown man uses awesome to describe a woman he's falling for? I could maybe see as part of a description, but that was the extent of the description. The !!!! are everywhere in this book, though rarely needed.

This was another great read in this amazing series. The storyline flowed seamlessly in this well written story about finding love, hope and family. Zach and Stephanie were endearing characters with great chemistry. I also loved catching up with the wonderful characters from the previous books. I have read and loved all of the books in this series and I hope there are many more . I would definitely recommend this book and this amazing series.
Cowboy Christmas Homecoming is the fourth book in the Dark Horse Cowboy series. And introduces cousin Zach, a soldier who comes back to Langston, a shell of the man he used to be, mourning the passing of his father and the only home he has ever known. And whilst it was an enjoyable, festive story. That delivered moments of mystery and suspense. It was also a little predictable and honestly the romance didn't really excite me. Still, there's no denying it was engaging and heartwarming to read. ...more

I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest!
This was a great book !
Zach is just back from the war.
For now, he is living with his uncle Big Jim.
Stephanie is a firefighter and an EMT.
The holidays are approaching, and these 2 are single.
I think that we all can do the math.
Will these 2 give love a chance ?
It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book!

Enjoyable addition to The Dark Horse Cowboys series. I was hooked from the start. There is just something about these Garrett men but Zach totally stole my heart. He and Stephanie had a connection from the start. Loved watching their relationship unfold and how they found where they belonged.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC received via NetGalley.

Cowboy Christmas Homecoming, is a feel good Christmas novel. If you read the books that came before this one in the series, then you'll love reconnecting with those characters. I don't think you have to read those first, but it sure did help.

This is probably my favourite story of the series to date, and while it was definitely predictable in parts, the story was engaging and an enjoyable read. Zane and Stephanie made an intriguing couple and their relationship was depicted with just the right amount of angst and drama. A wonderful festive romance that leaves the reader feeling all I can be right with the world. My only criticism of this book is that the author tends to do a lot of recapping (obviously for those who haven’t read the ...more

I was lucky enough to read the prior book in this series so I was excited to read this one. Zach is home from the military with a bit of a shock but his uncle Big Jim has invited him to stay with him on the ranch after his mother sold his homestead off. Zach isn’t sure he can survive with all the noise in Big Jim’s house but he needs to find his footing so he is trying to make the best of it until he meets Stephanie a lone woman firefighter who is a friend of the family. Somehow Stephanie calms ...more

This is a great Christmas Goodness story! I really enjoyed reading it, coming back to Big Jim Garrett's brood of sons and a nephew that's like his son.
Zach comes back troubled and when he meets Stephanie, he feels calmer. She is a firefighter, so a totally rocking heroine, but has big troubles of her own.
Some of the story was a bit predictable, and some I never saw coming. This family has the biggest hearts and when danger comes, they're there, front and center. A lot of emotions will hit you,

COWBOY CHRISTMAS HOMECOMING by June Faber is truly a Happy reunion at the ranch with one of my favorite families! This story focus was cousin Zach (returning Veteran) and firefighter Stephanie. The story also caught up with Big Jim, Ty and Colt's families. I did miss hearing about Beau and his family, especially since it's Christmas. This story was all about family with some suspense thrown in!

Zach Garrett, ex-Army Ranger, returns home to Langston, Texas invited to spend Christmas at his uncle's ranch. His uncle, Big Jim considers his nephew Zach as much a son as his own. Zach's mother moved to Ft. Worth following the sale of the family ranch after Zach's father died. Zach feels rather adrift following his release from the Army until he enters Big Jim's ranch house and sees Stephanie Gayle. Two sets of eyes light up. Stephanie is a firefighter and EMT, an independent woman. She ...more

This is an enjoyable quick read. I say quick as I read it in a 2 days, couldn't put it down even though the story line is slightly predictable. It is a good guilty pleasures read without being constant filth throughout making it safe for reading in public places if you so wish!

Leaves you feeling happy and content, its a perfect holiday read or me time read curled up on the couch with a blanket and a wine.

Cons: to start off there are a lot of character names so hard to follow who is who,

Loved the book, it’s cute, sweet and heartwarming as well as a bit of suspense and action is intertwined in Stephanie’s story. This book also touched on some relatable and hard topics such as PTSD and men returning home after deployment to big, big changes in the lives of everyone they know. Great read!

Zach felt like he was missing so much from his life when he returned home. Life was not how he left it before joining the military. Trying to acclimate once again his cousins and uncle make him feel at home. Meeting Stephanie was something he could have never have imagined and slowly began to knit back those tattered ends of his soul. Keeping her safe was the only thing that matters when her life is threatened. Great continuation of the series. I only wish there was more mention of Beau to round ...more

Cowboy Christmas Homecoming is the fourth title in June Faver's Dark Horse Cowboys series, and it's the third title in the series I've read. While I wasn't over-the-moon about the previous two novels, I'm a sucker for a heartwarming Christmas story, and this novel does deliver some of that in addition to some tropes I'm not over-the-moon about, like insta-love, it held my interest throughout, and it gets 3.5 stars from this reader.

As the novel opens, Big Jim, a central figure as head of the

Dark Horse Cowboys #4, I am so glad the series didn't end with the Garrett Brothers it has now expanded to Zach Garrett their cousin who has been away in the Army. Like with his cousins when Zach meets the woman that was meant for him he's practically 100% all in from the start. It is an easy romance with very few bumps. Zach spent two tours in the military and during his second his dad died and his mom wasn't able to maintain the ranch so when Zach came home he came to his uncle's

I have enjoyed the entire Dark Horse Cowboy series so much, Zach and Stephanie simply added to that enjoyment as extended family. Zach is returning from his time overseas with a lot on his shoulders. His father died while he was away, his mother sold the ranch, and he is dealing with PTSD – in many ways, his life has been turned upside down as he accepts the invitation from his uncle to land at his ranch with family for a while. To find his way again among family who
