Sully Raines, a retired fireman from Kansas City sets out to find his birth mother and his search brings him to Blessings, GA. Soon after he arrives in town, he rescues Melissa from a car wreck and they realize that they grew up together in Kansas City and in fact, Sully was her first kiss ever. Their romance reblossoms and we get to meet more characters along the way.

The Way Back to You, the ninth installment in the Blessings, GA series, was my first introduction to Sharon Sala and the

There’s nothing I love better than a second chance, and this one is loaded with them! It’s time for a visit to Blessings, Georgia, for all this second-chance goodness. Blessings wouldn’t be Blessings without a few snooty, petty, affluent citizens, but thankfully the majority are loveable, big-hearted, unforgettable, wonderful souls. And this time, there's something truly special in store for one of our most beloved Blessings residents.

At forty-five-years old, Sully Raines discovers a secret his

I love Blessings, GA and the unique stories of its residents. The stories are woven together to leave use with a sense of community and love for these townspeople.

Sully Raines has an incredible story of loss that brings new beginnings and a life he could never have dreamed for himself. Learning the heart wrenching truth that his mother was in fact his adoptive mother, Sully begins a journey to discover the truth and find out who he is. Finding his birth mother leads him to Blessings, GA and at a

This story is about Sully Raines, who finds out after his mother died that he is adopted. Newly retired from the fire department, the news that he was adopted puts him into a tailspin. He gets some help from an investigator and his last lead points him toward Blessings, Georgia. Circumstances lead to his helping an

This is book nine in the series and I always enjoy returning to Blessings, Georgia. When a new book comes out it is like catching up with old friends. I love how Ms. Sales manages to interweave multi storylines into a fast moving book. In this book, we met Johnny "Sully" Raines and catch up with many old friends including Missy Dean. Without giving away to many secrets, we learn the back stories of one of our favorite characters.

Thank you to Netgalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for providing a

The Way Back to You is the ninth installment of Sharon Sala's Blessings, Georgia series. With a good series, the reader will want to find out what is next for the residents of the fictional location. This book and writer are no different. Sala took Melissa's story and married it with that of fan favorite, Lovey the diner owner.

I really enjoyed the book. It was a little dramatic and unbelievable at times, but that is what I've come to expect for the residents of Blessings.

Since I read the first Blessing series book (You and Only You), I fell hard for the small town Georgia town. I have waited for a book on Lovey, the owner of Granny's Country Kitchen. This is the book and it is worth the wait! At the heart of the story, Melissa, a character we have met before, and Sully, a retired Kansas City fireman, who is searching for the birth mother he just learned of. Sully saves Melissa early in the book and we find out that they knew each other growing up. Sully has hit ...more

Another great Blessings, Georgia book! There are so many events that take place in this book! This is a second chance romance. Blessings, Georgia is a small town that has some very interesting characters. There are ups and downs, funny and sad moments. The book has plenty of angst and mystery. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley.

I enjoyed this novel in the form of an ARC received through NetGalley.
Firefighter Sully Raines discovers that he was adopted after the death of his adopted parents. Recently retired, he sets out on a search for his birth mother. Serendipity or Karma plays a huge part in his search that changes his life in unexpected ways.
This saccharine story will be a hit with those who love Hallmark movies.

again Sharon Sala writes a story that you can't stop reading. How shocking for a grown man to learn on his mother's death that he was adopted. The story tells his journey finding love, a new vocation and his parents. The journey is filled with suspense, and love. Parts of it made you shake your head (like Elliot Graham's predictions) and some of it was heartbreaking and all and all an excellent story.

I got this book from NetGalley for an honest review.

I love all of the books in the Blessings, Georgia series. I love how the author weaves in people from past books so we can catch up with how they're doing. This book continues the story with Sully and Melissa and gives us more info about Lovey. I'm looking forward to book # 10!

Sala's Blessing series is a feel-good, down-home adventure into small-town America. She shows the best--and worst--of small town helpfulness and nosiness through characters that are easy to love. Each book reads well as a standalone novel, but the strength of the series is in the ties between the characters.
