WOLF REBEL by Paige Tyler is a well-written paranormal romantic suspense novel and is the tenth novel in the Special Wolf Alpha Team series. It worked fine as a standalone novel even though there are some references to events that took place in prior books.

Our initial protagonist, Rachel Bennett, was a police officer in Tennessee when she was badly injured and is now suffering from nightmares and PTSD. After the initial scene, the rest of the story takes place in Texas where she is a memb
With a rapidly growing menagerie of paranormal creatures injecting new life into the SWAT series, ‘Wolf Rebel’ is a fun and campy, enemies-to-lovers with a twist story as Paige Tyler ups the ante here with more than just repetitive storylines of werewolves obsessed with finding their mates. Whether Tyler has consciously done this deliberate kink in the growing narrative arc or not, it’s one I can definitely appreciate—it does keep things fresh if you’re concerned with the onset of reader-boredom ...more

In the previous book, we learned that Rachel is plagued by nightmares that keep her from sleeping. We also learned that she feels guilty that she froze and let a werewolf hunter get away during an ambush of the SWAT compound. That hunter, Knox, then encountered her on her previous assignment in LA. Knox had taken a bullet for her at the compound, which jump-started his becoming a werewolf. He followed Rachel across the country hoping he could learn more about what was happening to him.

Absolutely Spectacular .
I volunteered through Netgallery to read and review an advanced readers copy of Wolf Rebel . I really enjoyed this paranormal suspense/romance .
The story is fantastic . It is so pulse pounding suspenseful . I felt like I was right there as I read . Rachel Bennett is a member of the Wolf SWAT Team .
She's been traumatized and thinks she's loosing her mind . Strange odors , nightmares , shadows . Knox Lawson former Seal , former Hunter has been watching and

After Wolf Instinct I was glad I didn't have to wait months and months (like after Wolf Rising) for another of my favorite werewolves hunkies of SWAT. This time it is Rachel who is feeling like she is going crazy after the attack on the compound. Ever since she was nearly shot by one of the hunters, she feels like she is being followed. Just when she thinks she has lost it, it turns out that she actually was being followed.
Knox knew exactly what he turned into when he felt his arms change into

This was a great book! I have read the others in the series but this one had a bit more of a thriller feel to it along with romance, action, and some mystery worked in. Rachel and Knox story was really good to read about and I have to say my favorite in the series. If your looking for a really good read this is it, you won’t be disappointed .

Holy crap was this book confusing! Too many characters introduced far too quickly with too many side stories.

We start with a prologue that grabs your attention from the first page. Don't get too attached though because it's almost as if that becomes a forgotten piece of the story. At least it's not mentioned again in the first 16% of the book that I read. Maybe it comes back later.

We're then introduced to probably more than a dozen characters in a chapter or two. There's so

While the author has a great way of explaining why someone turns into a werewolf and the processes of accepting the events. The story its self falls just a little flat an lacks the drive of the others in the series.
The characters are from other books are brought together completing a secondary story line from at least two other books.
The author keeps the story as a stand alone and makes it perfectly easy to read.

OMG! This book has the creepiest bad guy I’ve read in a long time turning this romantic suspense into a psychological thriller. I truly adored Rachel. She takes a licking and keeps on ticking. Knox is perfect as the searcher finding home in her arms. Poor Diego I hope he finds his “One” soon. This book is a non-stop thrill ride from the first page to the last.

Another missed night of sleep - so worth it though. I devoured the story over the long weekend. I could not / did not want the story to end. What an emotional / psychological adrenalin ride of a story. For readers of Stephen Kings "IT" clown nightmare story - you will love the Clown aspect of this story. I was glad Rachel was able to forgive Knox for being a hunter. Knox was the one that ultimately saved Rachel from the evil spirt that possessed Rachel's mind. Their love / being the one was the ...more

Rachel is a wolf-shifter who has had emotional turmoil since being attacked in a Chattanooga cemetery by a huge clown. She is a SWAT officer now for the Dallas police department. Even after moving to a different city, she still has been having reoccurring nightmares of that night in the cemetery. Rachel meets Knox through a job she has been assigned to and realizes that her life will never be the same since they met. This book has it all, a Shifter's story with tons of adventure, action and sca ...more

Through NetGalley, I received a free copy of WOLF REBEL (Special Wolf Alpha Team, Book 10) by Paige Tyler in exchange for an honest review. SWAT Officer Rachel Bennett’s thoughts dwell on the hunter she let get away; she keeps smelling leather and gun oil at the same time she gets a creeping sensation that she’s being watched. To further her stress, Rachel’s having increasingly frequent PTSD flashbacks and nightmares about the incident that triggered her werewolf. Rachel knows she needs help, bu ...more
He was a hunter; she is a wolf. While her mind is falling to pieces, the man she isn't sure she can trust helps keep her together. I've loved this series and saw the amazing twist it took in the last book opening up the world of the series, but I felt this one hit the happy medium of action-packed, personal crisis, suspense, and sensual romance. Paige Tyler has seriously hit her stride with Wolf Rebel.

Wolf Rebel is the tenth of the SWAT books and is the culmination of Rachel and Knox
3.5 Stars rounded UP

Tyler’s “SWAT: Special Wolf Alpha Team” series take on enemies-to-lovers trope in the literal sense when a member of the pack connected to a former-hunter-turned-wolf in the tenth installment, WOLF REBEL. Featuring (SWAT member) Rachel Bennett and former Navy SEAL turned private security specialist Knox Lawson, this series finally presented lone - and pretty much confused - alpha. Not only that, following on the footstep of the previous book, WOLF REBEL also broug
What is a former hunter now turned werewolf to do when he's attracted and stalking a female on the Dallas SWAT team? Get himself chased down by Rachel Bennett when he can't stay away. This book is another in Paige's wonderful SWAT series that introduces a new spirit creature and builds the world even bigger. The possibile stories she gave us clues in the story are huge. I just love it.

This is the 10th book in the SWAT team series and I would absolutely read the previous books before this one or else you will probably be lost as to what is going on. In this one we get Rachel Bennett and Knox Lawson's story. Rachel was a police officer in TN when she was injured. Now she is on the Texas SWAT team but she has nightmares and PTSD after what happened. Knox is a former Navy SEAL who was also a part of the hunter group that came after the team. Not knowing that werewolves were real, ...more

SWAT: Special Wolf Alpha Team #10, I had been anticipating this one and it did not disappoint. This can be read as a standalone but the entire series is worth the read.

Rachel is still relatively new to the whole wolf thing, she still has nightmares about the event that activated her wolf DNA, it would give me nightmares too. They were getting better but ever since L.A. (the events in the last book) they have gotten worse and Rachel is afraid she's losing her mind because now she's started to see
(4.5) I am loving the new little bits that Paige Tyler is throwing out there to keep this series fresh.
This can be read as a stand alone, do don't let that hold you back, but I say go for the whole enchilada and read the series. Rachel, ex cop, werewolf has a bad case of PTSD. Knox, was a hunter. WAS, its ok, he is no more, and he knew that was wrong. Knox is now a newbie werewolf, in fact so new we get to be there as he learns the ropes so to speak. Just the fact that we have a hunter (ok

Rachel was a cop in Tennessee when she goes on a call to a local cemetery. She finds a girl cut up and tries to get her out but is attacked by a man dressed as a clown. When she almost dies, that’s when the wolf DNA kicked in and she turned. Now she lives in Texas, part of a pack, and a member of the S.W.A.T team. She has been having nightmares, seeing things, and smelling strange smells. Knox is a former SEAL turned who got involved with hunters. They are people that what to kill all werewolves ...more

This story was great with a little bit of romance and a whole lot of action. Rachel used to be a cop but an attack by a clown made her look at life differently so now she does security with a group like her. When Knox was shot in the leg saving Rachel he became obsessed with her, yes she is beautiful but he knows it’s something else. Rachel along with her teammates get security duty guarding a ADA and her daughter and with a private security company who Knox works for. When he asks her for help ...more

I've been waiting for this book since I read the last one. I had to know why Rachel let the hunter get away. This one didn't disappoint. Rachel and Knox meeting for the first (actually speaking) time was entertaining. The twist of Rachel's nightmares that we learned about a few books ago caught me off guard and I was amazed by the author's creativity there.

The hunter turning into what he was hunting is poetic. That answered the question I've had for a while. I really liked the DA's l

Wolf Rebel is the tenth book in Paige Tyler’s SWAT: Special Wolf Alpha Team Series. This book is a romantic suspense novel filled with danger, intrigue, fantastic characters, intense chemistry and heart-melting romance.

Rachel Bennett and Knox Larson have been drawn to each other since their eyes met across a battlefield of shooting guns two months ago. Fate has brought them together again, but will their love for each other be enough to battle against Knox’s past and Rachel’s consuming nightmar

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

I am so happy Rachel's story is out! I wondered about her not shooting the hunter in the previous book and how that was going to be explained and the trust issue with the pack.

With a new threat to Rachel and the pack, the story keeps you wondering if the threat is real or imagined! Rachel should also not trust Knox when she finds out that he was with the hunters but until later in the book, you wonder why that is.

This was another fun one from Paige Tyler. As with the other SWAT books, this one follows a couple of wolves as they discover their soulmates. Rachel has been on the SWAT team for a little bit and Knox is a newly turned wolf. They are both working through some things but end up helping each other. There's lots of action and sexy bedroom scenes. Always a good time.

I find it interesting that the further along in the series, the author introduces in other supernatural/paranormal things

Rachel, a police officer, lived my nightmare. Actually, it is probably the nightmare of a lot of people. She works to rebuild her life and moves to Dallas to work with a SWAT team. There’s a lot going on in this book. The characters are interesting and relatable. I enjoyed this book and will look further into the series. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is a great read! Rachel and Knox had quite an unusual start. The way this author handles the transition into becoming a wolf shifter is great. I will never look at a clown in the same way again. Highly recommend .

This is the second book in the series that I have read. The story is interesting and keeps you guessing. I just didn’t feel that the trauma Knox went thru was big enough for the conversion as compared to the others in the series .
