SWAT werewolf Rachel Bennett is hounded by nightmares after a vicious attack left her with PTSD. Not knowing who or what she can trust anymore, she's relieved to be assigned to a high-profile protective detail. Diving into work might be the distraction she needs, until she notices the mysterious hunk who seems to follow her wherever she goes—and recognize...more

I volunteered through Netgallery to read and review an advanced readers copy of Wolf Rebel . I really enjoyed this paranormal suspense/romance .
The story is fantastic . It is so pulse pounding suspenseful . I felt like I was right there as I read . Rachel Bennett is a member of the Wolf SWAT Team .
She's been traumatized and thinks she's loosing her mind . Strange odors , nightmares , shadows . Knox Lawson former Seal , former Hunter has been watching and ...more

Holy crap was this book confusing! Too many characters introduced far too quickly with too many side stories.
We start with a prologue that grabs your attention from the first page. Don't get too attached though because it's almost as if that becomes a forgotten piece of the story. At least it's not mentioned again in the first 16% of the book that I read. Maybe it comes back later.
We're then introduced to probably more than a dozen characters in a chapter or two. There's so ...more
The characters are from other books are brought together completing a secondary story line from at least two other books.
The author keeps the story as a stand alone and makes it perfectly easy to read.

Tyler’s “SWAT: Special Wolf Alpha Team” series take on enemies-to-lovers trope in the literal sense when a member of the pack connected to a former-hunter-turned-wolf in the tenth installment, WOLF REBEL. Featuring (SWAT member) Rachel Bennett and former Navy SEAL turned private security specialist Knox Lawson, this series finally presented lone - and pretty much confused - alpha. Not only that, following on the footstep of the previous book, WOLF REBEL also broug ...more

SWAT: Special Wolf Alpha Team #10, I had been anticipating this one and it did not disappoint. This can be read as a standalone but the entire series is worth the read.
Rachel is still relatively new to the whole wolf thing, she still has nightmares about the event that activated her wolf DNA, it would give me nightmares too. They were getting better but ever since L.A. (the events in the last book) they have gotten worse and Rachel is afraid she's losing her mind because now she's started to see ...more
This can be read as a stand alone, do don't let that hold you back, but I say go for the whole enchilada and read the series. Rachel, ex cop, werewolf has a bad case of PTSD. Knox, was a hunter. WAS, its ok, he is no more, and he knew that was wrong. Knox is now a newbie werewolf, in fact so new we get to be there as he learns the ropes so to speak. Just the fact that we have a hunter (ok ...more

Rachel Bennett and Knox Larson have been drawn to each other since their eyes met across a battlefield of shooting guns two months ago. Fate has brought them together again, but will their love for each other be enough to battle against Knox’s past and Rachel’s consuming nightmar ...more
I am so happy Rachel's story is out! I wondered about her not shooting the hunter in the previous book and how that was going to be explained and the trust issue with the pack.
With a new threat to Rachel and the pack, the story keeps you wondering if the threat is real or imagined! Rachel should also not trust Knox when she finds out that he was with the hunters but until later in the book, you wonder why that is.
I find it interesting that the further along in the series, the author introduces in other supernatural/paranormal things ...more
