Make Me Bad

Rate this book
A full-length STANDALONE romantic comedy from USA TODAY bestselling author R.S. Grey.

I was issued a warning: stay away from Ben Rosenberg.

As Clifton Cove’s resident “king”, he thinks he’s entitled to anyone and anything.

The trouble is, I’ve spent my whole life following the rules and playing it safe. I know what it feels like to be the good girl. I’m the police chief’s daughter and a librarian—for adorable children, no less. My wardrobe consists of colorful sundresses and baggy jeans. I might as well have a Post-it stuck to my forehead that reads: Yup, she’s a virgin.

An all-nighter with a fictional hunk is about as exciting as my life gets, until one day, fate decides to take pity on me and shove me straight into the path of Mr. Off-Limits himself.

Oof.

Just as I suspected, every inch of him promises to be my demise. Up close, he’s tall, menacing, dangerously handsome—the type of man who’s never spent a single moment worrying about the opinions of others. A well-behaved girl would do as she’s told and avoid him at all costs, but I’m overdue for a little rebellion.

No more Friday nights sprawled out on the couch in my comfiest pajamas. No more wishing I had the courage to misbehave.

Everyone thinks Ben is going to ruin me.
They think he’ll chew me up and spit me out.

Well, Ben…go ahead.
Tempt me. Taunt me.
Make me bad.

MAKE ME BAD is a full-length romantic comedy. For a limited time, I've also included an excerpt from my bestselling romantic comedy A PLACE IN THE SUN!

Make Me Bad is a brand new stand alone romance by R.S. Grey. This author’s books never fail to brighten my world just a little bit. Her characters always bring on all the warm and fuzzies and always make me smile.

Madison Hart is the librarian for the children’s section of the library in Clifton Cove, Texas. Her father is Chief of Police and her brother is on the force. Both are extremely over protective. Madison still lives with her father so she can cook for him and look after him. She is a rule follower and a good girl. It’s her twenty-fifth birthday and Madison really looks at where her life is at. It’s definitely not where she thought it would be. She better hold on to her hat, though, because things are about to get crazy!

pretty librarian

Ben Rosenberg grew up privileged. There is a huge divide between the wealthy and the not so wealthy in Clifton Cove and it has caused a lot of hard feelings. One night when Ben is on his way home, he happens on a woman in distress and jumps in to save her. She knows who he is but he doesn’t know her. He soon discovers, though, that she is the Chief’s daughter and he warns Ben to stay away from his daughter. That he doesn’t want him anywhere near her. But fate has a funny way of doing what she wants.

Ben and Madison find themselves in each other’s paths once again and a mutual agreement is formed. There is some crazy chemistry going on but neither of these two are ready to admit their feelings. Plus the fact that Madison’s family doesn’t want her anywhere near Ben. Their friendship continues to grow, though, as do their feelings.

kissing in the library

I would call this a slow burn, sweet, silly romance. There are some sexy times but it takes awhile to get to that point. You can’t help but to love both Ben and Madison. Madison had allowed her family to rule her world and I loved watching her finally straighten that spine of hers and stand up for herself. These two were perfect for each other. And just so adorable.

couple kissing in the ocean

This is definitely a low angst, feel good book that will make you smile. For me, Madison might have been just a tiny bit too sweet and the slow burn just a little too slow. But still, I loved Madison’s willingness to change her ways and I loved Ben’s willingness to make her happy in whatever way he could. It’s always nice to put a book like this in between some of our more heart breaking reads. I did enjoy it and look forward to more by this author.

More! I wanted more!!! I feel like this book needed to be a good 50 to 100 pages longer! I feel so deprived right now.
I don't know whether that is my obsession talking or actual reason coming through.
There was room there for growth there which I felt wasn't utilised. I always prefer it when we go into detail of the character's past and how that has impacted them now. It was just touched upon, but I just wanted more.

Keyword of this damn review: MORE!

But goodness, when they got together, my heart was weeping. R.S. Grey fuckin nailed that!

Fav author! Auto-buy author. Can't-do-no-wrong author. Her books are the best!
————————

I had a grin on my face whilst reading the blurb.
R. S. Grey's books make me so damn happy!

Release day can't come soon enough!

I’ve been out of high school for over a decade and here I stand, feeling like I’m eighteen again. This whole thing feels wrong. She’s the innocent little librarian and I’m apparently the last man on earth her father wants her to be talking to. I guess everyone has a little rebel inside them.

MAKE ME BAD is a sweet and sexy romantic comedy with characters you are sure to fall in love with. This is a forbidden romance filled with tons of laugh out loud moments and heart. I always get a little giddy when a new R.S. Grey book is about to be released. She has consistently delivered some terrific stories which is why she is another author I rank up high on my favorites list.

Madison is a sweet, beautiful and somewhat socially awkward librarian. Her father is the police chief and her older brother is also a police officer. The two are beyond overly protective of her. They treat her like a child rather than a twenty-five-year-old woman. She is almost brutally attacked on the night of her birthday but is rescued by Ben Rosenberg, Clifton Cove’s most eligible and sought after bachelor. Madison has even daydreamed about him a time or two.

As luck would have it, Ben shows up at the library a couple of days later. He got into a bit of trouble and has to do community service to make up for his misdemeanor. He chose to work at the library, not knowing that Madison worked there. They never thought they’d see each other again and secretly they’re each happy to have the chance to spend more time together. Neither of them realizes that they have a mutual attraction building between them. Ben is a legend in their town and comes from money. He could have any woman he wants, and Madison seems to think she’s a big nerd who could never be thought as attractive to a man like Ben. She has no idea how she affects him.

She asks Ben to help her be ”bad”. She’s tired of being the good girl and always taking the safe route in life. She wants some excitement in her life and would like to start shaking things up. Ben is intrigued by her request and since he’s also a bit smitten with her, he agrees to help Madison with walking on the wild side. After spending so much time together, Madison starts to suspect that Ben might be having feelings for her which has her flying high in the clouds. But her father and brother despise him. Will she be able to defy them and go after what her heart wants? Will she have to choose between love and family?

5 Stars!

Let me start by saying that I'm a HUGE R.S Grey fan. I've read a lot of her books and I've loved a lot of her books. They're always smart and witty and charming, and they always win me over. But Make Me Bad was... God, MY MOST FAVORITE BOOK OF HERS TO DATE! It made me feel like I was going to burst with all the dreamy, romantic, sweet, and tender feels it brought to life. I'm giddy as I sit to write this review. I mean...

THE SWOON. THE SWEET. THE SEXY. THE FEELS.

OH, THE FREAKING FEELS.

It's next level bookish goodness. So heartwarming, so charming! A lose-yourself-completely kinda read. Truly, vibrant and immersive. RS Grey's characters shine with PURE personality and you simply have no choice but to LOVE them and root for them completely. Their sweetness, their depth of heart, their quirky mannerisms and hilarious personalities are brighter than the sun.

And then the storylines. THE BEST. In this we have Madison, a children's librarian, and Ben, a lawyer who owns his own law firm. She's the regular girl next door. He's the golden boy of Clifton Cove. Their paths don't really cross because Ben is Clifton Cove royalty and Madison is just a normal, every day girl. However, there's some family history because Madison's father is the police chief and Ben was a bit of a badboy growing up. Anyway.... eventually, Ben and Madison have a run in that leaves an impression. And that leads to a story that is total MAGIC!

COMPLETE MAGIC!

And OMG, is it ever dreamy. Wholly romantic. My heart melted a million times over. The slowburn romance that happens wooed me, and the feelings that developed between Madison and Ben consumed me. I was on the edge of my seat, desperate for these two to catch fire. Their chemistry is so alive and tangible. And the friendship these two make forces you to feel all the feels. Honestly, there's nothing about this couple you won't absolutely love. NOTHING about this story you won't find yourself falling for. It's the best RomCom this author has written.

I can't say it enough, I LOVED THIS. YOU NEED MAKE ME BAD IN YOUR LIFE. It's a pure escapism. Funny and delightful, dreamy and romantic, not to be missed. I'm so happy I read this, so glad it fed my romance lovin' heart. I needed a book EXACTLY like this. One that made me smile so big my cheeks hurt. One that made my heart beat like crazy and my belly dip like mad. The writing was incredible, the story was EVERYTHING, and the romance was FIVE STARS! THE ABSOLUTE BEST!

“It should come as no surprise that I’ve held on to that blue birthday candle, the one that first gave me the courage to change my life.”

Characters
Ben (31, lawyer): he comes from money. The town has a chip on their shoulder about his family and views him as privileged and spoiled. But he doesn’t view himself that way, and neither did I. His mother had dementia and that's caused him to be skeptical about taking a chance on love as he sees the pain of being left behind. He’s a fantastic hero and I adored everything about him.

First impression of Ben: he was fully justified in standing up to the bully's and I was glad he didn't cower. Showed he had some balls and would be a character I could root for.

Madison (25, Children’s Librarian): she's honest and sweet and "the girl next door" type. She isn't fake and doesn't try to be someone she's not. She recognizes that her world isn't filled with a ton of excitement and she feels like she might be missing out on the fun aspects of life. She has some quirkiness to her and a kind heart.

First impression of Madison: she views her life as a bit pathetic seeing as she doesn't have many friends, no boyfriend and is a librarian. Her birthday party at work was actually pretty pathetic with the droopy streamers, the horrible pumpernickel cake and only 3 people attending. It reminded me of a birthday that Eeyore (from Winnie The Pooh) would have had....gloomy.

The Story
”Please make this next year more exciting than the last twenty-five.”

Well, she certainly gets her wish.....

“The birthday gods heard my wish and were like, Hey, you heard the woman! She wants excitement! Let’s ramp this shit up to an 11! Examples of things that would have been appropriately exciting: having my shoe come untied; missing my turn and having to explore a new route home; or, I don’t know, I could have stumbled upon a stray puppy and been forced to take care of him. (In the end, he takes cares of me.) Getting held up at gunpoint was seriously not what I had in mind.”

The meeting for Ben and Madison was cute (even though she was being held up at gun point). Sounds like it should be a traumatic thing, but the author added humor to the situation and it kept the mood light.

“In the romance novels I read, this guy would be handsome. I’d convince him to leave his life of crime behind and we’d live together in perfect harmony. I chance a quick glance over my shoulder and see he’s wearing a ski mask. The bone structure underneath doesn’t look all that promising. Also, his black attire—which should be slimming—doesn’t conceal the hefty paunch jutting out over his jeans. Oh dear. I really don’t think he’s a hunky criminal I’ll be able to sway toward living a life of honor and integrity.”

Ben & Madison are a really cute duo and have great chemistry. They have a slow burn relationship and certainly spend time getting to know each other. They openly share their thoughts and outside of an overprotective father and brother, these two are not surrounded by much drama. Madison is inexperienced, but not naive. It was fun to walk alongside these characters and see their romance blossom.

Overall
This is an easy, upbeat read. The story flowed well and kept my interest. There was humor along the way that made it fun. The supporting characters were also easy to like and added some dimension to the story. Overall this would be something I would recommend if you are looking for a quick, light, low angst read.

Quotes
“I thought by the time I turned 25, my life would have really come together. I’d have a sleek red convertible, a three-story dream house, a hip-to-waist ratio under .75, and a boyfriend named Ken. Admittedly, I now see that was Barbie’s future, not mine.”

“It’s time to face facts: a three-game winning streak in solitaire is as exciting as my birthday is going to get.”

“I feel like I’m not coming across well via text. Does my tone seem weird to you?”

“Did I say I wanted to be bad? No, no. I just want to be less good. There’s a difference. I want to return my library books late, play hooky at work, sneak into a double feature at the movie theater.”

“My fingers hook on either side of my panties and I slide the lacy material down my thighs. If I’d known I would be leaving them behind, I would have worn one of my oversized cotton pairs, my period panties—the ones I put on when I’ve just about given up on life.”

“So many people wake up and repeat the same things day in and day out. How many have the courage to shake things up? To reject the safety of their routine? I haven’t stepped out of my comfort zone in years, and maybe I need this as much as she does.”

“Then, with speed usually reserved for X-Men and dudes running from the cops, I dart across the kitchen for my phone."

“This is my moment. I have to take life by the balls, and then because that sounds gross, I decide to take life by the hand, but forcefully.”

“Don’t look up my dress!” she hisses.
“I’m not,” I insist, sounding deeply affronted. But just to be clear, she’s wearing panties with a flower print on them—pink, if I’m not mistaken.”

This was THE BEST. I seriously LOVED Make Me Bad. Everything about it was light and fun and just... ughhhh.... DELICIOUS. This book had a decidedly different vibe than the last few RS Grey books I've read and while I loved it just as much, I also appreciated how refreshing it felt. I can't get enough of the love/hate dynamic Grey often crafts around her characters, but Make Me Bad was more of a slow burning friends to lovers type of story and it was EVERYTHING. I can't even tell you how much I loved this book.

The small town feel and the rival family dynamic captivated me right from the start. Madison is a straight-edge small town girl raised by a blue collar police officer. Ben is more of a rebel, having grown up privileged in the more affluent part of their coastal tourist town. They've grown up in close proximity to each other but their circles never intersect until a random incident catapults them into an unexpected friendship of sorts... a friendship that enlists Ben as Madison's pseudo mentor in unearthing her rebellion, in making her bad.

The slow burn in this novel is INTOXICATING. I wanted to wrap myself in it and never come out. The antics these characters get up to are always full of hilarious banter and sharp humor, but they're also edged in moments of sizzling sexual tension, decadent longing and a touch of the forbidden courtesy of one disapproving father and the judgment of an entire town. To say this book is layered is an understatement. It's so much fun to read, so complicated by things unsaid, so romantic, so funny, so sad at times. It's honestly one of my new favorites from this author and I couldn't get enough of it.

RS Grey knows how to deliver the PERFECT rom com like no one else. I laughed, my heart clenched, my emotions were right at the surface the entire time. Her stories are so VIBRANT, her characters so ALIVE, so full of personality and wit. I just wanted to crawl inside this world and stay there. Make Me Bad is laugh out loud funny, deliciously steamy, and breathtakingly romantic. I loved every delicious bit of it and I can't recommend it enough.

R.S. Grey’s latest romance is a cute and sweet slow burn that blends a quirky sense of humor with off the charts chemistry.

Madison is an extremely sheltered 25 year old virgin, the police chief’s daughter and a children’s librarian who is tired of her rule abiding, boring life and jumps at the opportunity to change all that when Clifton Cove’s resident bad boy is set to do volunteer work at the library. Madison had been warned about the rich, off-limits, devastatingly gorgeous Ben Rosenberg, but she’s done being the good girl and asks him to make her bad.

With each challenge Ben poses to Madison, Grey crafts captivating chemistry with natural charm and easy humor. Madison’s naiveté feels a bit implausible but is simultaneously funny and moreover, endearing to Ben who finds her innocence refreshing.

I am a huge fan of R.S. Grey's books. I totally adore her heroes and these stories. They have great humor and such warmth, that only she can create for me. At least I did not find another author who does this for me. Make me bad is another book I just love to read as asap. So I did it.

About a book: Maddie is a good girl. One day she decided to go a bit on the wild side, so when she find the opportunity she take it seriously. There came the hero who is know as a bad boy in the town. At last he was a bad boy in high school but bad fame remained. Still he will be helping her to make her bad.

A bit silly story. A old peope play a game. But still it’s adoreble love story with a lot of hilarious and "oh and ah" moments.

And the last part is just amazing. That was what I liked the most, so eventually it just left me in a very good mood, and what more could you want from reading a book.

Just when I think I couldn’t love RS Grey’s books any more than I already do, she comes out with one like Make Me Bad and proves me completely wrong. Not only is it adorable and charming and cute, but it also checks all of the boxes I love in a romantic comedy: a delectable slow burn, tons of witty banter, a sweet and charismatic hero, and a heroine you can picture being best friends with in real life.

Madison is a 25-year-old children’s librarian who wishes for more excitement in her predictable, ho-hum life. Her birthday wish comes true in more ways than one when Ben Rosenberg swoops in to be Madison’s knight in shining armor. What starts as a shaky secret friendship, blossoms into one of the swooniest relationships I’ve read in a while.

Madison’s family is a bit overprotective and even though Ben’s reputation with them isn’t stellar, he works very hard to prove their prejudice wrong. I love that he didn’t give up on Madison and kept his promise to help her. Not only did she come out of her shell, but she also blossomed into a fun-loving, independent woman who realizes her worth. Good job, Ben!

With subtle hints of Beauty and the Beast, Romeo and Juliet, and Pride and Prejudice mixed in, Grey gives us a fairytale romance an introverted bookworm like Madison can only dream of. The secondary characters added some hilarious moments and proved to be some of the best friends you could ask for. Oh, and the surprise in the epilogue? Amazing and perfect.

This is my thirteenth book by RS Grey and I never want her to stop writing so that I don’t have to stop reading her words. Like, ever. Make Me Bad is one of my favorite reads of the year and its only March—which makes me very excited for Grey’s upcoming summer release.

The queen of fast, fun reads is back with her latest book, Make Me Bad, and I'm almost positive book lovers everywhere are going to adore Madison. For me, she was Grey's most relatable heroine yet! Book lover, check! In bed by eight, check! She's clearly so awesome, she could be my clone. This ended up being my first of two books in a row with a librarian as the main character. Yes, please! Not only is Madison a librarian, but R.S. Grey takes every book fantasy we have ever had come true with Ben. As soon as he sets foot in the library, it is swoon city. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the relationship between these two characters grow because I loved both characters from the beginning.

I was concerned this book was going to be heavy on the sex due to the title but was pleasantly surprised with the overall tone of the story. Make Me Bad ended up being everything I was hoping for, with just enough of a slow-burn to keep me anxiously turning the pages.

My favorite thing about this story, besides Madison (did I mention how much I loved her?), was the mention of my absolute favorite R.S. Grey book! I love when authors tie their stories together, and Grey is one of the best at making her books connect in subtle ways. I'm pretty sure I gasped at the first reference and then the epilogue, happily, brought it all together. I could do with a spin-off in this location and these characters in one book!

As always, R.S. Grey is one of my favorites for a reason and Make Me Bad only further solidifies her as a one-click author in my book!

Cute and easy.

This was a cute and easy read. Heroine is 25 and still living at home. Not because she has to, but because why not? She’s also a children’s librarian who plays it safe, Friday night is for staying home and reading right. Doesn’t help that her dad and brother are super protective, so yeah. Good girl Madison. Insert bad reputation rich boy Ben. He saves her from some random crime and then as if they are fated they keep ending up together. Then Madison asks Ben to make her bad. And he does, sort of. Along the way they fall in lurve. It’s really that simple. If you’re looking for low angst romance, then this is it!

Cute, easy, light, fun story... as most R.S. Grey books are.
I just didn't care for the h so much in this book.
The 25 year old who is still treated and acts like a high schooler... no thanks.
Loved Ben... just not so much Madison.

Loved the first meet cute! Wish the whole book was filled with that type of hilarious moments.

Things I liked:

🧡 The writing: I've read a lot of books by the author and thus, can say, the writing is simple and nice.

🧡 The initial chapters: There were so many funny moments in the first half of the novel! Romance was nicely blooming as well.

Things I wasn't impressed with:

The second half of the book: Simply put, it's boring. In comparison to other books by R S Grey, it wasn't that good, neither the progressed romance or the weak comedy.

The ending: This is on me but I don't like long period epilogues.

Book: Make me bad

Author: RS Grey

Chatty romance book thoughts:
If you’ve ever had the chance to read an RS Grey romance, you’ll know that it’s a hard task to not fall under her spell. Over the years I’ve rarely missed a release from this rom com genius and it’s been wonderful to see her author dreams and hard work pay off. This book right here is exactly why I love romance so much, I was able to be sucked into a world of swoon and sweet and there was nowhere else I’d rather be than wrapped up in this authors words. Tall, dark and handsome hero, quirky overly loveable heroine and a friends to lovers vibe that would melt the stoniest of hearts - all in all this novel is a real treat, one that’s not to be missed.

Why not five:
This author hardly takes a step in the wrong direction - her books are solid. Perfect for warming your soul and definitely the kind of pick me up that’s needed. For my tastes I would have liked a little longer with these adorable characters and maybe a little more indecision and drama to spice things up a little. But those are small quibbles, this book without a doubt is golden and a hit amongst other fellow romance enthusiasts.

Ben bu kitabı reddediyorum, kendi cümlelerinde de dediği gibi We accept the love we think we deserve.

description

Zaten bu *make me bad* sahnesi de zorlamaydı demek bile boş.

I sniff. “You smell like my body wash.”
She blushes.
I can’t help but grin as I bring her closer. “God you’re so in love with me. It’s written all over your face. You wanted to use me to make yourself into a bad girl, and now what? You’re stuck with me, Hart.”
“Ugh. You’re squeezing me. I can’t breathe.”
“There. Better?”
“You just tightened your hold. I’m going to die.”
“Say you love me and I’ll let you go.”
“I love you!” she groans, fake gasping for breath.

“And, this…” he says, producing a faded navy baseball hat. “Is my favorite hat. In case you wanted a hat. I don’t know, you don’t need it. The bruise doesn’t detract from—” He shrugs. “Anyway, I thought you might like it.”
I take it from him and stare at it like it’s a foreign object from Mars.
“I know it looks old, but I washed it recently. Well, last month—”
He reaches over to take it back and I yank it away from his grasp, cradling it against my chest. If he wants it, he’s going to have to pry it from my cold, dead fingers.
His head tips to the side and my eyes narrow teasingly.
His mouth tugs into a smile and I poke him in the chest.

it wasn't bad, just bland.
After they consummated their relationship there was no conflict left for me to remain interested.

Madison is finally here and looking like an angle.
An angle, I reminded myself, who’s decided to fall.

First of all I really like the book cover theme that r.s grey do for her book. Secondly, I really really like and enjoy her books. This book was short, simple, and sweet. This is a book that will definitely brighten your mood.

Madison hart is a 25 years old librarian. She’s the chief’s daughter, and the sister of a police officer, who lives a more than ordinary life. Even though she’s a mature adult, both her dad and brother treat her like a kid. On her 25th birthday she just wished for some excitement in her life. Later that night she was attacked on her way home...
Lucky for her, Ben Rosenberg was nearby and came for her rescue. Ben later discovered that Madison is the chief’s daughter, who hates him and warned him to stay away from his daughter. Fate brought those two together again when Ben shows up at the library a few days later to do his community service. Madison decided to take advantage of the situation and asked Ben for his help. She asked him to make her bad...

"So are you two dating?” She asks, pointing between Ben and me.
“Dating?” The words drop out of my mouth like a hefty stone.
“Nah, Madison’s looking for a nice guy” Ben replies with an edge to his tone.

Madison is a sweet, cute, adorable, and independent librarian. She’s a rule follower. A perfect daughter. But she’s tired of all of that. She wants things to change for her. She wants to change her normal, almost boring, life. She’s caring and protective for those she loves. I liked her character and how adorable and fun she was.

Ben is the rich bad boy who owns a law firm. He grew up privileged and was hated for that. However, he’s not spoiled, annoying, or a jerk. He’s just been judged and misunderstood. He cares about Maddison. He admits when he’s wrong. He’s not ashamed to take the blame. He’s a really nice person, even if he thinks he’s not.

"You think by staying silent, you’re not speaking, but I hear it all loud and clear, Ben. So do it”

This book was really fun to read. It’s a slow burn friends to lovers romance, full of hilarious moments. Angst. Lovely cute moments. The chemistry between the two main characters is freakin amazing. I loved their banters and Pickering moments. R.S. Grey writes amazing romantic comedy books that would warm your heart and brighten your mood.

"What are we doing?” She mocks. “I thought you’d done this before...” she leans forward and takes my earlobe between her teeth.
“I’m supposed to be the innocent one.”

When I read the synopsis I was excited to read this story. However when I finished reading, my enthusiasm was gone, and didn’t enjoyed it as much as I wanted.
It didn’t have any sparkles, as if it was colourless...

I don't think I have loved an R. S. Grey story like this since The Fortunate Ones. Holy Crap, did I laugh. I laughed so hard I had to hold my stomach. Madison is legit my spirit animal. In particular, her sarcastic inner monologue is what dreams are made of. I loved her and Ben together and just how deliciously funny this story was!! Make Me Bad was pure 5 star romcom gold!!

When Madison Hart decides that for her twenty fifth birthday she just really really wants to be bad, she decides that town badboy, Ben Rosenberg is the man that can get the job done. But as they embark on Madison's transformative journey, Ben takes one good look at her and decides that maybe this good girl really needs a bad boy after all!

GAH!! I LOVED this story. I loved how real and genuine Madison was. She was tired of the same old, same old and the good girl repuation forced on her by her (sweet and doting, if not somewhat overprotective) family and decides to take the bull by the horns and take control of her life. I loved the hilarious antics she got into with Ben and the amazing insight we got into why Ben tried to stay away from her at first. He was alpha, sexy and caring: a dangerous combination to all ovaries around the world!! He saw right down to the heart of Madison and knew that she was the woman for him and set about making her his girl. This was truly a swoony, feel good story. Bravo! 5 stars! ~Ratula

𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗠𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗱 was OH SO GOOD! R.S. Grey absolutely NAILS the rom-com game EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I haven’t read a book I didn’t absolutely devour in one sitting. I haven’t met a character that I didn’t immediately fall head over heels in love with. Everything this woman writes is PURE ROM-COM GOLD! Her heroines are so relatable, quirky, and beautiful…inside and out. Her heroes are gorgeous, sometimes broody, and definitely ALWAYS scrumptious. You guys are gonna go CRAZY over Madison and Ben! If you enjoy romantic comedies that give you butterflies with every turn of the page…if you fancy your romances with tons of heart and a outpouring of comedic and witty charm, then you’ve come to the right place…your future happy place. Enjoy!

Meet one of my favorite comfort books ❤️❤️

Maddison and Ben are my favorite R S Grey couple by far

I knew I would love the book (you know that feeling when you look the book and there is THAT feeling!!!! I can’t describe, but it’s there 😂) and I’m very pleased to say that yessss, the feeling was right!

Maddison is a librarian and a bookworm. She lived her entire live in her town living with her super protective father and brother. She never leaved the cocoon. In her 25 birthday she realizes how unhappy she is. She has no friends besides Eli (who works in the library too) she had never done anything remarkable ou funny ou dangerous or “bad”, she never dated ou had a boyfriend. She had always been the good girl next door her father and brother wanted her to be. But she wants more, so much more.
On her birthday she makes a wish for a more exciting live. And then someone holds a gun on her head.

Ben is a beautiful, rich, sexy, steamy and manwhore lawyer. One day, after been arrested because of a bar fight he finds a girl being assaulted. He saves her. Yes! This girl is Maddison!
They are immediately attracted to each other.
He walks her home (and oh, her father H-A-T-E-S his guts! He thinks Ben ia a rich spoiled little brat) and they think they are never going to see each other again.
But
Remember that Ben was arrested? Well, now he has to do community service. And where do you think it’s going to be??? Exactly!! At Maddison’s library!
Maddison knows Ben, he is a popular man in the city. And because she doesn’t really knows him and knows he can help her, she proposes. She want do bad things, she wants to leave her cocoon, she wants to have sex.
And who better then Ben to help her to accomplish all her wishes?

I didn't think any book by R.S. Grey would top "Anything You Can Do" but this one just might.

If I had to name one weakness of mine when it comes to romance, it would surely have to be one half of a pairing (a guy if it's f/m ship) falling fast and hard for the other one.

This story definitely satisfied this particular craving of mine. Not only was Madison's and Ben's relationship cute as hell, but also Ben was so freaking smitten that it honestly made me giddy as I read.

Which is the best thing ever in a romance book.

What I especially liked about this one was how free of angst it was. Sure, it took some time and misunderstandings before Maddie and Ben got together but when they did, they were BOTH all in. The cynic in me kept shaking her head, thinking it's all too good to be true but you know what? Sometimes you just need to read a story like this - I know it made my day brighter.

If you want a cute, funny read with likeable characters and a small town feel to it, you should go for this one. And you should definitely go for this one if you're looking for something to make you smile :)

It's pure joy to escape into one of R.S. Grey's books. I loved Make Me Bad. So, so much. As is often the case with Rachel’s books, it struck all the right chords with me.

Make Me Bad was a delight. Madison and Ben were wonderful. I adored their story from the very first (and heroic!) meet cute to the epilogue that gave me all the feels. I even adored Madison’s meddlesome family, once they let up on Ben some. Rachel has done it again and I’m not at all surprised. There’s a reason (or many) she’s one of my go-to authors.
