Ég fékk þessa bók gefins frá höfundi á JSconf.is ráðstefnunni í Hörpu í ágúst 2016. Hún er ágæt að mörgu leyti, myndi líklega smella 2.5 stjörnum ef Goodreads myndi bjóða upp á það. Helsti gallinn við hana er hversu mikið af sýnidæmunum er nokkrar blaðsíður af kóða eða HTML - það er ekki beint auðvelt að hafa yfirsýn yfir efnið. Einnig er leiðindar uppsetning á texta og dæmum, þannig að útskýringar og sýnidæmi eru í belg og biðu.
Ég sé að aðrar bækur eftir Azat fá betri viðbrögð hér á Goodreads að minnsta kosti svo vonandi hefur hann bætt úr þessu öllu saman.
Get svo sem mælt með þessari bók fyrir byrjendur - bara ekki leggjast of djúpt í dæmin. Þau úreldast hvort eð er svo hratt.
