Liam isn’t an ordinary boy. In fact, he isn’t a boy at all. Created in a laboratory by a mad scientist who calls herself Frankenstein as a lark, he is brought into a world of trouble, strife and pain. Things are different than they seem though, and as the forces of darkness try to fall on young Liam, they might find that they are overmatched. After all, he isn’t just a Promethean, he’s the child of Frankenstein. A being that no one ever expected to see at all.
*This work takes place in the Mary Shelley Frankenstein universe, in a modern time frame. Bringing new life to a classic favorite.
P.S. Power works in fiction, mainly focusing on Fantasy, Science Fiction and Horror genres, with brief forays into other things just to keep life interesting. He averages 1 to 2 books monthly and has several series going. He lives in an isolated cabin in the middle of nowhere, as a recluse, yet still manages to find time to talk to people online, in a positive and delightful manner. Not one of those creepy hermit types though, you understand. It's more of an isolated farm style thing. Or ranch really. He's also interested in three dimensional photography, and long moonlit walks on the beach, sometimes with vampires. When he can find time he also does writing and voice work for scripted online programs. Anyway, feel free to drop him a line. Or visit his forum: http://pspowerbooks.com/phpBBF/index.php
In chatting with Dale over the past few weeks, it was decided that he was interested in blogging to you, his readers. The blog he had within the main site was not going to be a viable solution and there were thoughts of just creating a Forum where only he could post and everyone else could reply. This MOD is a nice meeting of the two for what will hopefully be a highly successful blog!
Hoping this first (and only) post by me will kick off a nice method of interaction with Dale's readers!

Liam is only five months old. Since he was created by the same formulae that brought Frankenstein’s monster to life, he appears much older. But he reacts as a child would when men come to take him from his mother. Now his education takes off as the FBI agents tasked with his care introduce him to truths about other creatures of myth.
The writing comes off very clinical, like a doctor explaining medicine to first year interns. Most of the characters speak in the same way which was off putting. The story proved intriguing though.
Surprisingly wonderful modern twist on a classic from the perspective of Frankenstein's monster. I really enjoyed this and am loving the ability to read all three books at the same time. Highly recommended.
I did not expect to like this book. While I have enjoyed to a greater or lesser extent all of Mr. Power's books, this one, Frankenstein, seemed unlikely to -- clear the bar.
I was wrong about that. Buying the next two books now.
P.S.Power has the most amazing way to bring a character alive. It makes you understand how the character thinks and act. Even when you think no don’t do that you will know and understand why and how the action is decided. Even when I didn’t give P.S. Power’s a 5 star rating it is be cause how others take advantage of the character.
This is a new twist on the old story, but very good. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
This story sets up the main characters and starts the story line. The "child" is very different, and is a fast learner. The introduction to the neighborhood of different groups of peoples leads me to look forward to their involvement in the story.
Once again we get a typical PS story. Totally unexpected, thoughtful, insightful, challenging & always entertaining. He seems to delight in hitting tropes from unexpected directions, writing unusual characters & generally poking the bear when it comes to what's socially accepted or "Normal". Luvya work PS
A great adaptation of the Frankenstien genre! Liam is 4 months old and learning fast. He's a Prometheus or created being with very little life experience but a phenomenal intellect. Sorry, gotta go, book two is waiting for me lol.
Liam is such an idiot savant with his lack of experience, yet quick mental gymnastics. I enjoyed this book immensely and I'm on my way to buy the next in the series right now!
Liam is quite likeable and interesting as he evolves while being thrust into new situations. Quirky without being cloying. Werewolves, vampires, and prometheans oh my
This story of a being made like Frankenstein struggling to navigate the war between the FBI and the supernatural communities was Awesome. Thanks for making a story that didn’t give me headaches trying to remember all your other series.
A fresh perspective on Frankenstein. Appreciate the books where released as a set. I am just now completing book 1 which as a whole feels like an introduction so appreciate the ability to dive directly into book 2.
One of my favorite type characters is a super smart one and I loved Liam! The things he is learning about are also interesting to me. I'm excited see what comes next!
A good twist on the standard fare, it was impressively written with the perspective and internal monolog of the main character fitting well with his personality. Well done plot and good story flow, and a good cast of other characters as well.
As always P.S. Power delivers a fascinating story about the dreaded Other in a sympathetic and fascinating way. As our main character has demonstrated through the book, never stop learning. A lesson we As adults sometimes forget.
Such an easy read. The story flowed effortlessly and I was completed caught off guard at the end by Mary's words. I love when that happens. So hard to put it down.
I really enjoyed this story. The character of Liam is very likeable. He is innocent but smart and figures things out quickly. I can't wait to read the next book.
