5+++ Forever Stars

Saga- a long, involved story, account, or series of incidents.
Epic- heroic or grand in scale, particularly impressive or remarkable.

These two words describe the love story of Cross Donati and Catherine Marcello Donati. This saga transcends the time that Cross and Catherine first meet, fall in love, struggled with mental health issues, sealed their fate, became a King and Queen of their respected crime families and had their own family. It is epic because their love is epically beautiful, heartbreaking, loving, stoic, true, and forever always. Their story isn’t short. It majestic and all encompassing. You, the reader, get to go on their journey and it’s not all a bed of roses. There are highs and lows, heartbreak and love, and family and honor. But through it all, their love is Always, Revere, Unruly and especially Forever. I must add that while this is an epic romance, it is also a story of organized crime with families that plays important roles in both Cross and Catherine’s life.

A romance for the ages, a deep, fierce, magnificent love story that grabs you and never lets you go. An all time favorite series of mine ❤️

Let's start off by saying I am really loving this Saga series and the more books I read from this author, the more I fall in love with her works. For me, all her books are just totally awesome and once you start reading one of her books, you won't be able to put it down. This author is going to be known as the Queen of Mafia Romance before you know it !

I have to say that this series kept you glued to the pages the entire time as things were constantly changing, and the danger kept getting even more real but, this time around, even more was on the line. The story was emotional, heart-wrenching, intriguing but, was full of tons of major players for us to interact with and get to know and fall in love with. We loved how complicated a family this large could be with all the ups and downs with all those different personalities but, at the end of the day they loved one another and new that family came first in all their eyes no matter what differences, tiffs etc.

Cross was my favorite character, hands down." I loved him from the onset of the story!" and I have to say that I was a little bit in love with him myself. We loved everything about him, the good and the bad.

Cross & Dante both fit this description of them we found them to be sexy, caring, loving, determined, some huge brass balls, bad*sses in their own right, creative, intelligent, a planner, down right dangerous if crossed, sneaky and sly, possessive, protective of all those they loved but, for Cross we loved those personal sacrifices he made time and time again for the sake of love. Dante -we loved this meddling Dad, whether his actions were good or bad, they were always made in the name of love. Let's just say I had a big crush on him as well.

For me, one of the most touching things that happened for me is learning what that shadow box represented to Cross and Catherine and how much these two had endured and had to overcome and be together but, through all their obstacle, this couple represented what true love is all about. Cross and Catherine were just explosive together, whether in bed or out of it. The chemistry between the two was off the charts and extremely hot and as the saga progressed thing just kept getting hotter and hotter.

Catherine was so much more than just her upbringing. I have to say that she surprised us more and more as the story progressed, and we saw this protective tigress just blossom and the lengths she went to protect those she had come to love.

For us, this family saga rocked! The stories had tons of romance and some really hot erotica love scenes, had constant drama, a ton of surprises as well as tons of twists and turns along the way and the story that was a totally intense. I loved the lengths this couple was willing to go to be together and the sacrifices both of them were making to forge and life together. We also loved each and every character's in this series as you could not help being intrigued by each of these self-made men but, most of all we loved, at the end of the day they loved their family above all else and when they found the one woman to share their life these men love their women fiercely.

We can't wait for the next new release to come out, and we highly recommend checking out this author mafia books because everything I have read so far we have absolutely loved, and they have been awesome reads.

Not only that, but we are loving these mafia romance books more and more. Overall this family's Saga was one of the best I have read to date and as a reviewer you could just go on and on because there were so many things I could list about how much I really loved this family's Saga and its character's.

Catherine: The Saga by Bethany-Kris this is the total box set with all book in the Cross + Catherine Series that total about 1325 in pages. This goes through the total romance story of Cross Donati and Catherine Marcello who are on different sides of a mafia family. This set even goes into their kids lives and marriage. This is a must have book if you like me, love a total romance story from start to through out their lives. Cross Donati and Catherine Marcello. Mafia children. Lovers in an epic saga of love and family.

Cross + Catherine: The Saga is their entire story, from their very first meeting, all the way through their relationship, and even a bonus story of their child, Naz and his love, Roz.

Always: Their beginning. Full of the intensity of first love.

Revere: Their second chance. They've changed since they last saw each other, especially Catherine. Can they stay together this time? Will first love become forever love?

Unruly: Cross + Catherine have been married for awhile, so things should have settled down, right? But they live a Mafia life, so of course there's no settling down. Can these two manage their marriage, and their world, and come out intact at the end?

Naz & Roz: Naz is the genius clone of his father, Cross. Insta love abounds when he meets young Roz again and finally notices her. If you love Cross + Catherine like I do, you will definitely love Naz + Roz too!

Cross and Catherine were introduced in the bonus episode of the Filthy Marcellos complete set, and I have been curious every since. Their love story is extraordinary!

Cross is Calisto Donati's son. He has a no nonsense approach and speaks his mind. If anything, he is comfortable with what some some consider to be arrogance.

Catherine is Dante Marcello's daughter. She is a good girl for most of the time, but she has a tendency of being sneaky. Depending on the company.

Cross is nearly fifteen when he meets thirteen year old Catherine. What starts with an innocent relationship leads to so much more in their late teens. He doesn't change much, since he already knows what he wants in life. She doesn't quite know what she really wants. On the one hand, she wants to be good for daddy and on the other hand, she is fascinated by her mother's activities. This becomes the root of their problems but, he is always there to catch her when she falls.

Something bad happens to her at the age of sixteen and instead of opening up, she finds other ways to cope. Destructive ways!

They are so good together when they are "on", but even when they are "off" as a couple, she can always rely on him. He would do anything for her. She goes on a self destructing bender and as hard as it is, he finds himself with the only option which might just help her. She lives in a dark place and has to be willing to see the light.

They are the perfect couple, yet not perfect individuals. Not that anyone is perfect, but there is a limit to everything. It's superbly portrayed and the poignancy of the emotions tore my heart apart. Quite the love story! I can't wait to see what transpires in Revere.

Revere

Revere is an amazing story about two adolescents who are now adults. It encompasses three generations of the same family and takes us down memory lane.

Cross is settled in his role with the mafia. He has grown up and his principles remain the same. There is one piece missing in his life.

Catherine has learnt to stand on her own two feet, but some old habits die hard. Pleasing others isn't always that easy.

It's been seven years since Cross and Catherine saw each other. So much has changed, but some things stay the same. Inadvertently, they have to cross paths and the past doesn't appear to be so far away. There have been misunderstandings which could now be a barrier. When the lies and deceits come to the surface, they only cause more hurt and anger. True love never dies, though!

Seeing the three generations of the Marcellos and how they have evolved is quite something. Cal's past is not easy to forget under the current circumstances and Cross maturity shines. In his own arrogant way! Can't help but love him. There are some strong messages within this story. It's soulful with potent emotions. Cross and Catherine face some strong oppositions as well as dangerous situations. Good intentions can sometimes be more damaging. I have loved each and everyone of the stories in this series, but this one is something special. It hits all the right spots and this incredible love story will not be easy to forget. And.... there is more. The preview of the next instalment has piqued my interest and I look forward to see what transpires next.

Unruly

Embarking on this journey with Cross and Catherine has been sheer delight. Watching them grow from children, to adolescents and then into adulthood is quite an experience. A phenomenal couple!

Cross is the the Donati boss and he hasn't changed much. He is still loyal, responsible, loving and beautifully arrogant.

Catherine is making good progress in her business, but still has a lot to learn.

Five years later and their love goes from strength to strength despite everything that's thrown at them. Juggling their time between their personal life and their business life is not easy. Whenever they think that they might have a reprieve something else crops up.

Cross is suddenly faced with a situation which puts the whole family in danger. He does the honourable thing and stands by his men. Respect! Things get out of hands, but he is no quitter. He will find a solution.

Catherine is going over her own stumbling blocks. She finds herself having to address some difficult issues with no real back up. She is no quitter either! As hard as it might be, she will resolve these problems.

With their additional personal responsibilities, they crave a work life balance. Things get harder before they get better, but they make the most of the time they have together. Will they be able to relax eventually and enjoy what they have?

It's refreshing to see that Cross and Dante have come such a long way, after everything that's gone before. There are a lot of changes. Danger is aplenty. One thing doesn't change though. The depth of Cross and Catherine's love. Remarkable! Cece is a handful, but fun with it. I have enjoyed every single part of this trilogy, and sad in a way that it has come to an end. The epilogue is magnificent. This is a love story to remember. Fa-bu-lous darlings!

Naz +Roz

An amazing finish to the Cross + Catherine series. It's a well rounded novella about finding "the one" and coming to terms with new feelings!

Naz, son of darling Cross Donati is a chip off the old block with very little to separate them. Naz is a born genius.

Ros is a pianist prodigy, daughter to Cross' best friend Zeke, and sister to Luca, Naz's best friend.

Although Naz and Ros have known each other from an early age, lightning doesn't strike until they are teenagers. It's instant love when they meet at a family event. They form an incredible bond whilst struggling with their new found feelings. They don't have much time to explore as Naz's work takes him all over the place and Ros is under pressure with her life long ambition of becoming a recognised pianist. Can they find a balance to meet their commitments and keep their beautiful relationship?

This short story is very well portrayed with a solid and intense plot. Despite their young age, Naz and Ros show common sense and are sensible about their decisions. Best of all is Naz's understanding and support. An adorable love story which ends beautifully.

Saying goodbye to Cross and Catherine is rather emotional, but hopefully there will be more of the Donatis' next generation with maybe a glimpse of Cross and Catherine thrown in!

I was kindly issued with an eARC and the views expressed are my personal opinion.

Always

I received a coy of this book in exchange for an honest review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

Cross Donati defines trouble. He does what he wants simply because he had never know anything different. He does not apologize and he owns it.

Catherine Marcello is a good girl on the outside. Her entire world is a legacy and she lives it. She is also curious and exploring it. She chases bad things. He never learned to be good. They have late nights. stolen cars, first times, leather jackets, beaches, bloody smiles and life. They are vicious and precious. They are love. Love is killing for someone. Love is living for someone. You can't keep saving your heart when it means sacrificing it too. This is what like is like when your a principle and principessa of the mafia. This is what happens when your Cross Donati and Catherine Marcello.

Talk about a love story that is suppose to stand the test of time with a cross of Romeo and Juliet. I really enjoyed this book. Their love may have been young bit it read like they were an always meant to be couple. Always follow these these two character for preteens to adulthood and you will learn that not many people love each other as much as these two do. Catherine had me in tears at times from some of the dark places she went. It was also great to see apperances from the characters from the previous books. This is a book you do not want to miss.

Revere

These stoey of Cross and Catherine mives forward seven years in the furture snd these two are as far apart as two peole can be A change merting brings them together again and you get to witness the reunion you have been waiting for But its not going to be so easy

Unruly

Five years in the future and these two are married and life is teaching them many lessons But all cross wants is to slow down and enjoy but things keep flying by This is the oayoff we have been waiting for

The Companion Novel

Cross and Catherine watch as their kids grow up and everything changes again Life is still as busy as it ever was for these two and their family. Cece and Nazio are trying to figure this life thing out. From toddling babies to wedding bells, everything they have ever wanted is already at their fingertips.

This is a companion novella about Cross and Catherine. These stories are written in short story from and meant to be enjoyed as individual pieces of the Cross and Catherine series. This is not a standalone so if you haven't read the series your not going to understand a thing your reading. This was certainly different but I really enjoyed a look back into Cross and Catherines life.

This is the best way to read the Cross + Catherine series, as it spans several books that I had to wait for each time one ended, so if you haven't read them yet, you're in luck to have them ALL in one place. The brilliant Bethany-Kris has written a love story for the ages when Cross Donati and Catherine Marcello meet, as they are on different sides of mafia crime families, so it's no easy journey. It's not short, but it's all encompassing because of what they went through as they grew together to become the King & Queen of their families while creating their own. There's so many emotions as you travel their path with them, because of the highs & lows, heartbreak that I felt like it was my own, family, honor, and at the end of the day, love & loyalty. And what makes it even more powerful to me is the fact that it's about mafia families, so you know that it's not a walk in the park, nope, there's all kinds of f-bomb worthy twists & outside forces that try to derail everything. There aren't many series where you get to see a couple who go from meeting all the way until they have their own legacy, but we do with Cross & Catherine, which is why this is one of my very favorite series of all time! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Fantastic! I can’t believe how this wonderful author keeps giving us unique, complex, beautiful characters in this mafia saga that spans generations. Cross is something special in his crazy, give two f*cks attitude, his arrogant sexiness and manliness that starts as a young teen. Love him! And what a fabulous counterpart in the sly, beautiful Catherine destine to be a queen just like her mother. She’s definitely a Marcello! These two together are explosive and sexy and there’s such a sweetness to their love. But can a Marcello and a Donati be together? As Catherine and Cross mature into adulthood they go through so much heartache, trials and tribulations but there’s always so much powerful love between these two that you know they can overcome anything thrown at them. This is another heart stopping, thrilling mafia story with danger, intrigue and all that I’ve come to expect from the spectacular series and this truly gifted author that writes marvelous characters that will live in my heart forever. I can’t wait for the next story. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC.

This saga had me hooked and reading through the night. I absolutely love Bethany-Kris' writing style. Add on to that young love and I am hooked. I had been searching for a story as powerful as this one for a while and Catherine and Cross' story checked all my boxes. Young love, mafia, a romance that struggles from innocent youth into the harsh realities of adulthood. I also enjoyed seeing how Dante parented after having read the Marcello brother books.

Bethany-Kris has created a whole world to escape into and characters who are vulnerable and raw.

Highly recommend this saga and the series overall to anyone who enjoys powerful and passionate mafia enlaced romance.

Unforgettable.
