Vance feels trapped. He never cared about his family’s wealth and prestige, but he finds himself pinned in place by the weight of his father’s expectations. Vance would much rather sweat in his studio creating metal sculptures with his blow torch than take any kind of position at the family firm. When pressure from his father mounts, Vance is torn between going with the fl ...more

There were parts of this book I really loved, but I just couldn't get past my dislike of Kyle. Kyle is a bike messenger/artist with a severe chip on his shoulder. Vance accidentally hits him while he's making a delivery. Vance immediately exits the car to apologize. He offers to take him to the hospital and purchase him a new bike. Kyle's response is to be an asshole and basically tell Vance he doesn't have time for entitled rich assholes. WTF! An entitled rich asshole would've blamed Kyle for t ...more

I was given a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.

This is the story of the fairly explosive relationship between an architect and a bike messenger. Or it’s the story of two talented artists who have to work through their pasts before they can form a beautiful partnership. It’s a steamy read that is sometimes funny, sometimes sad and feels wonderfully human.

The blurb explains Vance is angry - but seriously - he’s a raging asshole at the start of the book. Add Kyle’s defens

I've read all of Ann's The Rock Gods and Guarding the Gods series and I adore them. I will read them the second they drop. Although Moved By You was a solid read it didn't quite grip me as much as others I've read by her.
I liked Vance as a character. He comes across at the beginning as a bit of a whiney rich kid but we discover later that he under a lot of pressure from his awful father. He's being force to work for the family firm even though his father seems to hate him and Vance would rather

Vance works for the family business but his heart is with his sculpting. It is his passion but he knows he can't do it full time so whenever he has a spare moment you can find him on his studio creating.

Running late for a meeting Vance isn't paying attention while driving and accidentally hits a bicycle messenger. It also happens to be the guy Vance was swooning over when he delivered a package to his office. He isn't hurt bad but Vance wants to replace his broken bike but Kyle isn't having any

Moved By You is a truly awe inspiring book about Van, a sculpture making artist who only wants his art to make him happy. Instead, he is being forced by his father to work the family business. One day he practically runs into courier Kyle and the rest was history.

I have read several books by this author in the past and loved them all. This book felt like it was written by someone else, it just didn't fit the author that I know and love. I didn't really connect with Vance or Kyle until the book was almost over. There were so many pages without dialogue that I found myself skimming and becoming bored at times. When there was actual dialogue and Vance and Kyle were together I enjoyed the book. I wish we w

~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~

I really enjoyed this book, although sometimes I got pretty annoyed with Vance! He was a confusing mixture of entitlement and anger at being under his father's influence. Thankfully Kyle gives him a backbone to deal with the issue - even if Kyle didn't realise it at the time.

I enjoyed the interplay between the two men as Kyle fought the attraction thanks to his preconceptions. Vance did give him plenty of cause to be co

😕Can this sculptor mold a romance with the deliveryman🚴 of his dreams?😯
👍👍 I found this MM 💕romance really touching and out of the ordinary. Anger 😤 and passion🔥 for two guys who should never have met. Great backstories for both heroes, heated encounters and bonding moments galore, despite the antagonism that keeps cropping up between them, a tragedy and a stubborn, unsupportive😡 father. The upbeat epilogue was a perfect way to end their story!😊

I grew into my appreciation for both Vance and Kyle

I was getting real sick of the constant back and forth between these two. Vance kept saying he was too old for games, yet he was just as bad as Kyle. Sometimes their chemistry was off the charts, but then they'd fall back into their bitchy ways. Just when they we're getting somewhere... SURPRISE! Kyle has a "son" and something real bad has happened.

This story just didn't feel organic at all to me, and the dialogue was kind of cheesy. I was more frustrated than anything, so I won't be c

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the enemies to lovers romance between Vance and Kyle. Vance is the son of a wealthy businessman and is forced to work at the family company and he hates it. Vance would rather work on his art, he makes metal sculptures and has been very successful selling them. Vance's father also disapproves of Vance being gay. When Vance sees a bicycle courier at the office, he is attracted to him, but he gets the feeling it is not mutual. When Vance is drivi ...more

Ann Lister's Moved By You is a fantastic romance. A rich guy falling for a bicycle messenger? Hell, yes! This beauty is full of multi-layered characters and a wonderful storyline.

The two men appear to be complete opposites, but have way more in common than they could have ever guessed. I absolutely love the way they come together and influence one another. They come from two vastly different worlds, and are two extremely different men, but they work so darn well together.

Vance, oh how I adore Va
There were a lot of really meaningful exchanges in this story that caught my attention and made me want to keep reading. I loved the overall feel to the story. Both MC's were so different and so electric.

Vance works for his father's architecture firm, but his real passion is his art. His metal sculptures provide him a steady income, but his life isn't his own. His father is ever present, unyielding, and unhappy about his choices.

When Kyle, a bike messenger, literally crashes into his life, he g

This was a hot enemies to lovers romance. The characters are well developed, the world building is done well, and the storyline is addictive.

The animosity between the two MCs is evident from the start. Vance works for his family's businesses, but not by choice. Kyle has had to work hard for everything he has, and has a huge chip on his shoulder toward rich people.

It was intriguing watching these two have a battle of wills. Kyle has already made his mind up about the type of person Vance is, but

Not sure

I'm not sure how I feel about this book. It starts out interesting and you want to know more about the characters. Kyle is so angry. I kind of wish that we got a chapter or two from his POV, but I also think he would be so confused over his feelings that they be the best.
Vance is a well formed character. He is a little lost in his life, but if he could do anything, it would be to just work on his art. He deals with his always getting on his case and not having a good word to say about hi

I’ve read a handful of books by this author and I liked them, so I was a little surprised by this one. It just didn’t work for me. The writing really surprised me…I don’t remember the dialog being so inane in her previous books. I found myself skimming a lot of this book just so I could get to the end.

Vance and Kyle’s bickering felt forced and their dialogue was childish at times. When the arguments eventually led to ‘the bedroom’, what should have been steamy, chemistry laden, angry sex was jus

💥💫💥💫💥5 Biking to Love Stars💫💥💫💥💫

This was definitely an enemies to lovers story as I could feel how Kyle hated Vance at first sight! Vance represented everything Kyle hated, pretentious, wealthy, and arrogant. When Vance literally plows into Kyle on his bike, the loathing increased when Vance attempts to make sure he is not hurt and wants to buy him a new bike. Vance in nothing like what Kyle thinks of him. He is an artist, secretly creating his metal sculptures against his hated father's wishes

Great book from Ann Lister!

I was happily surprised when I stumbled upon this little jewel. I'm so used to the rocker romances from Ms. Lister that I didn't really know what to expect going into Moved By You. Obviously, I knew it would be amazing and hot, which I was not in the least bit disappointed, because it so was!

Van and Ky have a very rocky start and continue to go up and down through most of the book. Ky is very intimidated by Van's family money and really holds that over Van as an excus

This was a cute book overall, and I was rooting for the characters, but there were definitely times when I wondered why either of them really and truly kept trying to get together. They really seemed to dislike each other and were only really driven by attraction. I made me feel like they were trying too hard throughout the majority of the book. Fortunately, by the time they fully got together and stopped being pains in the butts with each other, they connected well. I think the ending was my fa ...more

Vance and Kyle

This book is an excellent addition to this authors released books. I loved the guys.

Vance is wealthy and working at his families business although he is not happy there. His passion is with his art.

Kyle is a bike messenger. He lives his life free and for what he wants. He did not grow up wealthy and he seems to hold someone’s wealth against them

These two are surely enemies to lovers and have to crack through each other’s shells to realize what they have is good. Well one sees it m

Vance is an architect but his passion is metal sculpting. He works at his fathers company but hates his job. His fathers disdain is crushing him. Then he meets Kyle.

Ky is a bike messenger and his passion is restoring motorcycles. His job isn’t a forever kind of thing but he has no idea what he should do with his life. Then me meets Vance.

The men spark off each other. Equal parts dislike and lust. Their time together either has them at odds or in each other’s arms. They each have issues that need

I really enjoyed this story!!! Vance is stuck at a job he doesn't really care for due to his father. He just wants to be able to create art....that is what makes him the happiest. Kyle is a bike messenger.....he meets Vance by accident literally. Vance can't believe that he hit Kyle with his car. There is a lot of heat and anger bouncing between the two with a healthy amount of lust thrown in. The chemistry between the two was off the charts even when they were fighting with each other. WOW!!! What a hot, sexy, fun ride!!! Two ambitious men, caught in the cross fire of attraction and misconceptions. Vance is an architect, working at his father's firm. Unhappy but obligated. Kyle is a bike messenger with an attitude. He's angry after Vance hits him with his expensive car. This was a magnificent story of two ambitious, head strong, never give in men, trying to navigate attraction that can't be denied. The clashes, the uncertainty, the physical encounters that get hott
I absolutely loved all of Ann Lister’s rock gods series so I had really high hopes for this book but I just found it a little bit lacking. I didn’t particularly like the main characters, I just couldn’t connected with them and the on again off again was more like teens not to grown men. Vance was a little to quick to get angry when Kyle called him out on being a rich boy who is to scared to say no to daddy. Moved By You is a new enemies-to-lovers story by Ann Lister. Kyle and Vance were full of anger towards each other from the start and that translated over into their romance pretty early on. Neither could seem to decide between disliking the other and jumping into bed. However, when Kyle needs a shoulder Vance comes through to support him and they finally seem to get together. The story was entertaining although I did get annoyed at the main characters occasionally:)

This was one hell of a fantastic, powerful, grab-you-by-the-feels, intense, gritty, gripping, totally awesome, and blazing hot. The chemistry between Vance and Ky is so explosive, even when they hate each other, it almost set my ereader on fire. I must admit that, more than once, I was severely tempted to smack the crap out of both of them for being so arrogant, and stupidly stubborn. The author has written a book that is a little bit different from her usual style, but OMG!!! is it good!!! Get ...more

I really enjoyed this enemies to lovers. Great storyline and wonderful, well developed characters. Vance and Kyle are total opposites and definitely get off on the wrong foot. There is something about Vance and Kyle...
I think some authors are given a true gift. How else could they make characters that grab us and give us all the feels? There is no question that Ann Lister has it.
Vance and Kyle are a couple that had me at first conversation. The banter between these two certainly starts off with a bag! I love a book that makes me wants to smack the couple to wake up and see what is in front of you because I feel so invested in the characters. Ann Lister does not disap

Great book

This was a great book.

The hatred between these two was at times hard to read, as it felt so raw. I loved how they pushed each other buttons and by doing so, helped each other move forward.

I would have loved to see Kyle's point of view.

I enjoyed the push and pull between them, but how despite everything, they try to support each other.

the end was a little bit, too good to be true for me, but great all the same.

Enjoyable read
