"You're not just one of the crowd and you know it."

I find it interesting to read about the challenges others face and the strategies or methods utilized to overcome and learn from them. Even with all the Billionaire books flooding the market this one stands out from the crowd.
When we are first introduced to Eli he is a very responsible but friendly older brother, who's also quite desperate and pauper. Our next interaction with him shows a different side. He is wealthy, tired of women throwing themselves at him, and he seems harsh and cold. Throughout the pages we see his tender and loving side, his anger and frustration, his caring and kindness, his stubbornness and determination. Always a good thing when vulnerability and insecurities get trumped with better qualities!
I loved how quick Ivy is to forgive and move forward.
I personally wasn't a fan of the numerous make out scenes, but there were plenty of sweet kisses sprinkled throughout. On a steaminess level I would rate this a mild PG-13.

So so

I wasn't too keen on the writing style. It seemed to have a lot of short sharp sentences but I loved the premise and story.
Ivy IMO was far too forgiving and Eli was a big of a jerk (understatement) but it was a decent read

This was a really good romance. Ivy got a job working as front desk clerk for Eli at Avangarde Resort. Eli began the business with his brothers, Hayden and Nelson and it's become very susccessful. Hayden is the Chef in the restaurant there and Nelson manages the recreational activities.
Ivy and Eli fall in love even though both of them fight their feelings for one another.

I enjoyed this book. I’ve been reading Laura Ann’s books since she published the first Middleton Prep book and have seen her growth in fine tuning her talent.

I seriously never tire of Billionaire Romances. This one is a rags to riches type. Eli Truman and his brothers want to start a new life, so they pool their resources and buy a dilapidated castle in hope of opening their own B&B. During their renovation they discover a fortune. Along with it came instant notoriety along with treasure hunting gold diggers. Eli just got out of a loveless marriage with a woman who cared more for money and prestige than for her husband. He wasn’t going to allow another woman get to him. He wouldn’t give his heart away again. All these women were wasting their time on him. He was neither interested nor available.

Then comes Ivy Thompson, she’s like a breath of fresh air. Always smiling, always polite, and very caring. She’s so innocent and young. Not so unassuming that every man doesn’t take notice of her, including her cold billionaire boss, one Eli Truman. While she maintains a very professional appearance, she cannot help but appreciate the beauty, strength, and secret tenderness that is Eli. He, however, is her boss and is therefore off limits. No way, no how....or so she thought.

Nelson Truman, has eyes and sees what is going on. He sees the attraction is mutual as well as the hesitation to pursue it. So like any loving sibling and friend, he sets them up...repeatedly. Chaos ensues.

While I like both leads, my favorite person has to be Nelson in this book. He is so much fun!

A cute, clean romance that was fun to read. I loved how close the three brothers were and their rags to riches story was heartwarming. The chemistry between Ivy and Eli was explosive. They were opposites in many ways and he really hurt her feelings. Loved the effort that he made to win her back. Ivy was a great character who was sweet and genuine. After some turmoil, they finally have their HEA.

over the top with proof read errors

It was clean, but also there are some crude moments. Like the boss wanted a friends with benefits casual arrangement. And the female main character felt hot to all her places, and other teenage stuff like that. And he has a terrible temper and thinks only of himself. Obviously he needed counselling after his divorce. I see a rocky marriage ahead for them unless he gets help. A really weird story. I think the Oman should have run for miles from a man like that. Looks aren’t everything. And what is it with grey, blue or green eyes? Boring boring boring.

The plot was alright, but the writing wasn’t very good and the two main characters were immature. The book barely explains how he becomes a billionaire and so it’s lame. The plot is repetitive and Eli is just plain dumb 😂
Ivy isn’t too bad but she could be way better.
I was honestly cringing a lot while reading this, but
Nelson was the coolest guy and saved the book.

Ivy and Eli went from 0 to 100 when it came to their romance. They weren’t together at all and then they were making out, then they were back to not trusting each other.... So many times that I got whiplash! It was really annoying

There were a few cute scenes, but I wouldn’t really reread this. 🤷🏻‍♂️

3 strikes, you’re out. Oh, wait, 4 strikes…but she forgives him and Nelson yet again. Ivy comes across as a pushover. Eli treats her badly but she loves him so she just keeps taking it. Blech The ending was not romantic, it came off as Eli being controlling.

The characters talk to themselves more than each other. There are excessive commas which throw of the reading pace. Yeah. I didn’t like it at all.

Wow... Just wow.... Doormat, insecure heroine and a 34 year old jerk of a hero who needs his brothers to set him up all the time to even go n say sorry to his woman???? I don't even know what goes into the author's head to even write this kind of stuff n torture her readers who want to give her book a chance...

Her Billionaire Romance is the first book from the ‘Overnight Billionaire Bachelors series, written by Laura Ann. The story of a misfortuned girl who falls in love with a Billionaire boss. This series follows the story of the three Truman brothers and a settled storyline of a sweet romance between a billionaire boss and a small-town girl.

From the beginning, we’re introduced to three characters, including Eli. Nelson and Hayden. Three brothers who have just bought an old castle, planning to open a hotel under the name ‘Bed and Breakfast. Having a low budget for renovation, they continue to clean the shabby rooms in the castle, that’s when they enter a room full of gold and treasures. The hidden gold ultimately makes them overnight billionaires and a media sensation. Several media headlines them for the interview but their main concern is to set out their resort as soon as possible. The two brothers move on with their professions whereas, Eli undertook the resort and looks for a suitable candidate to look out for their resort. Ivy Thompson is a girl in debt and in desperate need of a job. She gets employed in the castle but later falls in love with her cold-hearted boss.

The story follows an interesting start and continues to build the narration strong. I think the plot clearly defines each of the characters and gets to the point. The storyline complements all the features of a contemporary romance excluding angst. Obviously, because the author kept it clean and sweet. However, the story takes time to progress. Ivy’s interactions with Eli and their slow romance didn’t resist the interest but made it a smooth reading till the end.

Good writing - NO SEX

This was pretty well written and cannot recall significant typo or grammatical errors if at all. The story was a bit drawn out though, given the H kept screwing up over and over and h just let him back. Characters weren't overly wooden, but a bit too one dimensional for me to be mad at the h for selling herself short. I did feel her pain though, but not really any happiness. Neither H/h were particularly funny or smart. Book was fine but I wish, like books that are on the kinkier side, these books have trigger warning for having No Sex Whatsoever. Just kissing. Thank God I didn't catch anything religious as well, but then, of course the couple jump to Vegas to get married asap once they kiss and make up at the end (also ending a fight by proposing/getting married is never a good thing). So I guess they'll leave the fun sex for our imaginations. That's just fine but if I wanted Clean, I woulda searched for clean. If I wanted a story that I was reading not just for romance and sex, then I would read one above a 9th grade reading level. Should've done my research on the author first. But for folks that get uncomfortable with any kind of sex or consider "butt" a bad word, then this novel is perfect for you.

This is the first book of 3 brothers Eli being the oldest, Then the others Nelson and Hayden ... they bought this castle and land and were going to fix it up and make it into a B N B... when they stumble into a secret room filled with treasures... and are excitedly Billionaires and soon they have people working for them and open sooner than they would have on their own....
Eli Truman. has trouble getting out of his own head, he has taken the stance that he is the only one in the world who has experienced heartache and no one can understand him. He is through with having a woman in his life. Little does he realize that appearances aren’t what they seem and while someone may appear to be without problems, that can just be an illusion. In other words "A man who is sure ALL women are the same" .....
Ivy Thompson. She has endured loss, heartache, and is struggling to make ends meet yet her outlook on life is to always try and be ethereal and happy, she treats everyone with respect and a smile, and Eli just gets her insides all discombobulated, she is truly attracted to the strong, handsome billionaire,
the adventures they go thru is what makes this a fun read, the up and downs, the aggravating parts of this story is when the whining parts come in and the characters push and pull against one another
But for this reader I still enjoyed the storyline..

It's a billionaire romance...

I opened this book expecting a light read, the fun of the billionaire factor and maybe something interesting along the way. I was going to drop a star because it's not a complex story, but why? It is exactly what it says it is, plus a bit more. It delivers--so 5 stars it is!

It was not fun reading about how Eli was so unable to trust and kept messing up the same way over and over and over again--but it was real life. The underlying theme of how life can mess us up and it is not all fixed in a minute, even with money in the bank, was equally real and welcome. Molly had her challenges too, yet her genuine caring for people enriches the story.

There were a lot of billionaire romance tropes along the way, but they were expected--normal and sometimes fun "scenery" so to speak. What I did not expect was a 100% clean read -or- the unique backstory! That makes it rereadable for me. Oh, and I want to see the castle! More visual details please!

Happy reading!

Another sigh worthy romance

I loved this book! The easy camaraderie between the brothers in the prologue had me hooked on reading more about this family. I wasn’t disappointed in the book. The book is a stand alone clean romance.

Ivy was a great character to match from Eli because she was so genuine, kind, and without an agenda. Eli had so much ex-wife baggage and had to fight off so many gold diggers that it jaded him from being able to see the real deal in Ivy. Though Eli and Ivy’s romantic relationship was more like game of red light green light, it still was really sweet. The meddling matchmaker brother Nelson was hilarious in his attempts to bring his brother together with Ivy. You just had to roll your eyes and laugh.

Best line in the book for me: “Good heavens, the man could kiss the socks off a kitten!”

I was sad to finish the book but good news is that this is just the first of a new series!

This book is a great beginning to Laura Ann’s new series. I love the internal dialogue the characters have with themselves. The prologue with regular guys becoming millionaires by chance, is a great intro to the brothers and I love their relationship with each other.
What would you do with an old castle and a treasure?
Brothers Eli, Hayden and Nelson turn the castle into a luxury resort. The problem is they are all now eligible billionaires and women are everywhere.
Eli was burned by love and doesn’t want anything to do with women.
Ivy is deep in debt and needs the job at the resort to pay the bills that stacked up with her mother’s illness. Can she avoid her attraction to her new boss and help change his grumpy attitude? Will her bubbly personality and genuine love for people be able to break down his walls?
Nelson decides to play Cupid and help things along. Will it work?

I was pleasantly surprised by this book - I don’t normally go in for billionaire books unless I know & enjoy other books by the author which was the case here, but I actually really enjoyed it. It’s different from the usual genre in that none of the billionaire bachelors in this story are of the self-entitled attitude since they only acquired their fortunes recently they still have that work hard attitude although they seem to have adjusted to their new found fortune quite well this could have been a story about any regular hard working trio. I am looking forward to the next few in the series. I also really liked the heroine in this story. She had spunk & was incredibly good natured but flawed enough to make her character relatable.
I can happily recommend this author as she has always provided clean, feel good stories to enjoy which I personally really appreciate.

Great story!! I absolutely LOVED Ivy! She is such a ray of sunshine, you can't help but love her :D
I liked Eli as well! He has been hurt by love before, so he puts on a cold, aloof facade, but underneath it all, he's really just a big softie. Ivy and Eli were so lovely together that I was rooting for them from the first few chapters.
The plot was interesting and although Eli messed up so many times, I loved seeing Ivy and Eli grow together. I really liked Nellie even though he was a secondary character. His humour is apparent in his actions and he was really entertaining!
Overall, I would highly recommend this novel!

I received a copy of this novel from the publisher. This has not affected my review, which is my honest and unbiased opinion.

2.5 stars. To start, the cover leads you to believe there are ✨fun✨ parts but there was nothing. Also I didn’t like the characters and felt like they were being children. For a guy who supposed to be in his mid 30s Eli has no communication skills (just self pity and hatred). For a Ivy, she just annoyed me the entire time. All she would do was mope about the things he did but also being in love. I was kinda enjoying it (even through the cringe) until the last quarter. The end honestly sucked and I only read this because it was free to download. All of that being said-I read it in a single day so I kinda enjoyed the cringe/pain of it all anyway. Happy reading but note that it’s clean BECAUSE I DIDNT KNOW THAT.

This entire series is such a fun, engaging read that will leave you smiling in the end. I fell in love with these brothers and the business that they build up during the course of the series. A very clean romance with great characters that make you feel like you are sharing all these events and memories with them. I would really recommend this entire series for a relaxing and enjoyable escape to a magic fantasyland!
I received an ARC copy of the book. This is my voluntary, honest and completely personal review.

I couldn't go trough with it, I find it very child like written, many unnecessary words and thoughts that they say out loud, it isn't really realistic.. The HEA should be 25, but she act and thinks like she's 13. I hope it gets better further in the book, but I guess I'll never find out, I just couldn't go any further.

Don't let my revieuw stop you from reading this book, many readers found it a 5 star worthy book!!

Happy reading😊😊

This was first book I have read by Laura Ann and I will definitely be reading more! The book has no sex but there still enough heat to get your imagination going. The ups and downs between the to main characters kept me reading to find out what will happen.

The three brothers interaction was great also. I can't wait to get introduced to the other characters in this series of books. I know these are stand alone books but I have to know if the other two brothers find there HEA!!!

A fun read

Ivy is a woman that tries to spread happiness and sunshine wherever she goes.
Eli is a “normal” guy who doesn’t trust any woman after his divorce.
This story is about a man falling for a woman and a woman falling for a man. Both feel that they don’t deserve love and happiness and that they aren’t good enough.
I really enjoyed the highjinks of the younger brother getting his older brother set up with the woman. I also could relate to all the characters in the book.

This book captured my attention from the get-go: how 3 brothers suddenly become billionaires. Nelson is cute being the brother that figures out how to get Eli & Ivy together. Ivy is very forgiving. Eli has to overcome issues from a previous bad relationship. It has a HEA & you will enjoy the read.
I received an ARC from the author. This is my honest, voluntary review.

Okay

This novel was okay, not the best that I have read but definitely not the worst. I enjoyed this book for the majority of the storyline but towards the end I felt it was too drawn out. I wish they could have wrapped it up a little sooner, I feel like it would have worked out better.

Great story line

Eli, not telling Ivy about the shannings of his ex gets exactly what he deserves when Ivy refuses to listen to his explanations and leaves not telling where he can find her; however she finally tells him she forgives him when he tells her he will buy any place where she gets a job.
