A blast from the past!

George brings up many things from the 70s time period that I have long forgotten about. The casual manner in which he tells the story kept my attention throughout the book. As a sailor on a Knox class DE, I can attest to many of the things mention in the story. Thanks for the memories.

Brings Back a Lot of Memories

I also served on a navy Destroyer during the Vietnam War. The book brought back a lot of lost memories of what it was like to be at Yankee Station and the NGFS gunline.
