All Our Yesterdays is the second book in Karen Janowsky’s The Persistence of Memory series, and it was a fun second book. Although I’m still not crazy about the romance between main characters, I really enjoyed the way in which the story developed throughout this one.

With All Our Yesterdays, a lot is added to the series. We get more details about many of the different aspects introduced to us in the first book, we get some answers, things move forward well, and new questions are introduced. As I

We re-join Daniel and Nina in their adventures. I really enjoyed the action, it was exciting and kept me eager to see what's next. The romance wasn't my favourite, but they have some fun banter. There were more steamy scenes in this one than the first and I did enjoy watching their relationship grow and evolve.
I'm enjoying the mix of superheroes, some mytholoygy, and time travel. The action kept me hooked moreso in this one than the first. I'm looking forward to the third.

In “All Our Yesterdays,” the second book in Karen Janowsky’s genre-bending masterpiece trilogy, “The Persistence of Memory,” we follow our heroes, Daniel and Nina, as they battle against monsters, internal betrayals, and other forces arrayed against them who are determined not only to break them apart, but to destroy the world and all of history. The battle and action sequences are some of the best fight-scenes in any genre that I’ve ever read. As well, the romance and steamy erotica sizzle and ...more

All Our Yesterdays is the second book in the series The Persistence of Memory, continuing the story of Nina and Daniel. The book is again an erotic and adventurous one. I really liked the sexual banter between Nina and Daniel, their angst came out in their characters as their old memories resurfaced.
But the addition of new variables in Daniel’s life in the form of a person who used to mean a lot to him added the necessary intrigue. Moreover, their team must try saving the world from impending

Enjoyable Read

In spite of needing a bit more editing, I found myself hook, line, and sinker being drawn into this story. Began reading it last evening and finished reading it this evening. Janowsky certainly knows how to keep the pages turning. I recommend this book to readers who enjoy urban fantasy, super heroes, and lots of sexual behaviour - wowsy! I'm curious on how this story ends so I've bought book 3 which I'm sure I will enjoy.

In Déjà vu, the first book of the series we see Daniel Hecht, a war hero and team leader of an underground group of superpowers misfits, finds himself strangely attracted to a new recruit, Nina Asher, after meeting her for the first time. Other than the strong pull they feel toward each other, they have something else in common as well; Nina has no recollection of her past, and Daniel is missing memories of several decades of his life. As they work together to unlock an ancient myth, they ...more

Daniel and Nina are no longer the shy, hesitant characters introduced in the first book in The Persistence of Memory series. They are now a serious couple who can’t keep their hands off of each other, much to the delight of their playful, teasing co-workers and teammates. Now that Nina knows who she is, she now faces the sad fact that her immortality means that her time with Daniel is limited. Meanwhile, Daniel questions whether his attraction to Nina is the result of true love or as part of her ...more

I enjoyed this book much more than I did the first one. The plot was well thought out and the action was thrilling. The action sequences were fast paced and I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. Nina and Daniel go through more character growth this novel and it keeps the plot moving forward.

I wasn't as keen on the romance between Nina and Daniel this go around, it seemed stiffer and less authentic. That being said I flew through this book and finished it in record time. I'm excited to see book

Great second story

Janowsky's Persistence of Memory books are definitely worth the read. I've read the first one, and they should be read in order, and I enjoyed that one as well. Janowsky's All Our Yesterdays is another story about Daniel and Nina, and the battle that is not just about the monsters. It's a grand story of superheroes that are no ordinary superheroes. There is a bit of discovery and romance, and even strain with tragedy and triumphs. I liked the depth of the characters and the

Book 2- Whereas I found it difficult to connect with the characters, I did not have that issue in book 2. Again the author blends science fiction with mythology and passion between the two lovers. She, the author, does a good job of blending the genres and this book really turns the male/female sexual interaction from a passionate to erotic at least for me. There is a lot of action, slow-building teaching, and worthy reveals.

A highly imaginative novel that is filled with references to mythology and different Gods. The author is able to seamlessly transport different store lines, back and forth, from the past, The Bronx in 1932... World War 2 and the Holocaust, to the present which is 2012. There are many sexually explicit scenes... Maybe one too many in my opinion, but then we are dealing with Gods and there is a Goddess of love.

Better than the first

This second outing with Daniel and Nina digs deeper into both their histories and their future together, which is built on her history... And it goes way back. The action, superhero and erotic, is better than the first and sets up a Grand finale to come in book three.
