About the author

Sam Taplin grew up in a beautiful valley in Yorkshire, where he dreamed of being a writer, and after three years reading other people's books at university he started writing his own. He's been doing it ever since. When he's not writing about lonely rabbits or inquisitive bears, he likes doing card tricks, writing songs and playing long games of chess by the fire.

This story is very fun and easy to read. The words are not hard and I think it would be a very nice beginner poem book. It is the basics and very simple. But, still very good as well.

This book was really simple and easy to read. I think it is suitable for young children. The poems are really easy to understand and there are a lot of pictures to help the kids visualize the poem. The book give reader a lot of imagine, there are a lot of pictures to express the meaning of these poems. these poems are very easy to understand, it is suitable for little children. We can see so many theme from the book, some poems are about friendship, and some poems are about family, and some poems is about relationship. The books give children a lot of good influence, and teach them plenty of things they need understand.
The color in the book are very warm, children will like it very much. And about character, the book have a lot of characters from different poems. The book through these colorful pictures to express a lot of traits and thought for children. There are 48 pages in the book, we can enjoy different story from these poems, and I think little children's education is very important. We should pay attention to them in this time, and the education of poems is difficult than other style books, so , in my opinion, the book is really good, it is not very difficult and these poems from the book can show and teach children the element of poems, the book provide a lot of good examples to show little children what is poems and how can we create them, so, I really like this book. Poems for little Children is a collection of popular children's poems all in one book. The pictures are very child friendly and the poems are ones that I could see students easily loving! A fantastic range of poems for children. Great repetition so children can remember lots of the poems. Theres lots of opportunities to explore these poems across a unit of work aswell allowing the children to be creative and really get to grips with these.
