I just re-read before I mailed it on to a Berkeley classmate in MLIS program in 1984/85 with whom I just connected--he still lives in area. Indeed this book is set in Berkeley!! in the 80's so anyone who was there then might get a kick out of all place names and descriptions...these are what keeps this detective novel moving!

[jma]

A Bay Area (SF) mystery. Set in the (now demolished) radio broadcast bunker on the mudflats by the east end of the SF Bay Bridge.

Familiar.
