Jill is on the trail of a mysterious caller who is targeting her Aunt Jackie. When Jackie calls off her engagement to Harrold and starts acting out of character, Jill has to ramp up her investigating. However, someone wants to shut down Jill's amateur sleuthing career - permanently!

I enjoy this series for so many reasons - the writing style allows the reader to feel as if they are "in the book" solving the mystery, the bookshop/coffee shop setting, the character of Jill is level-head

This is the first full-length Tourist Trap mystery in a while and I couldn't have enjoyed it more. I find this series highly entertaining and when I start a new book I always know that I am going to lose myself in the story and enjoy my return visit to South Cove. Ms. Cahoon has done a wonderful job of creating a series that hits all the high points I look for in a cozy mystery series. Jill, Gregg, Aunt Jackie, Harold and the rest of the cast of characters are well defined, rich, and three dimen ...more

I really enjoyed this book. I've enjoyed the entire series but this book is close to home. The problem of elderly abuse and scams/frauds is so prevalent today. To imagine the pain of thinking a lost one has returned or needs help. The book is fast paced and truly engrossing. I'm so glad that Jackie and Harold get back together. #MemoriesAndMurder #NetGalley

Somehow, I missed a few books in the series, so will need to go back and find them. I enjoy the series and the characters, especially Jill and Greg. The other characters add interest as well. I also like the town of South Cove. Jill leaves the murder mystery mainly to Greg and focuses on the mystery involving her aunt Jackie.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley my eARC in exchange for an honest review. - Thank you for bringing this series back to my attention!

I’ve been reading this series since the very beginning. The Tourist Trap series is set in South Cove, California and features Jill Gardner as our main character. Jill owns Coffee, Books and More, which is exactly that, a coffee shop with a bookstore. Jill isn’t the only one in this ambitous endeavor, she shares the shop with her Aunt Jackie, a spry senior who believes in living life to its fullest. Jackie has had her share of heartbreak in her life, including the death of her husband Ted, which ...more

Who knew elder abuse and murder went hand in hand, but Jill, Greg and gang are back in action as they try to find out who is picking on the elderly and who killed a local elder counselor's boyfriend in her house! The plot is intriguing as several storylines overlap, once again creating a well woven story sure to entertain! The best part is we are finally back to a full length story that picks up where the timeline left off prior to the author deviating to write several novellas to help flesh out ...more

Jill Gardner loves her life in South Cove, California. She’s got it all with her Aunt Jackie, her handsome boyfriend/sheriff Greg, her Aunt Jackie, their dog Emma, her friends and her coffee and bookstore family. Life is good. Well, it was until Aunt Jackie broke off her engagement without even telling Harold or anyone what prompted the decision.

When the bookstore hosted a talk on elder abuse and care, Jill had no idea she would be calling on the speaker for advice before the day was

Memories and Murder by Lynn Cahoon is the 11th installment in the Tourist Trap Mystery series.
This is the first book that I have read in this series and it was so enjoyable and easy to follow that I did not feel lost or out of place diving right in. I can see however, that by reading all off the previous books in order would most certainly add to my enjoyment.

This book was so good that I plan on reading all of the previous books.
I enjoyed the whole host of characters. They were relatable, hil

One of my favorite series. Jackie gets calls from someone saying they are her dead husband. Jill sets out to find who is scamming her. In the meantime someone is killed. While Greg and the police dept is looking for the killer. Jill does her own investigating again. What a thrilling read.

A Tourist Trap Mystery #11

Fall has come to South Cove, the lovely town that is home to Coffee, Books, and More, owned by our coffee making, crime-solving Jill Gardner.

While we are all still reeling from Aunt Jackie's abrupt break up with the man who worships her. Aunt Jackie isn't talking about it. She is, however, acting very odd!

Love is in the air all over South Cove and Amy has Jill helping her with her wedding. The mayor is doing his best to get informatio

Lynn Cahoon succeeds again in bringing to close another cozy mystery in South Cove. This book focuses on two mysteries. As the novel opens, Jill is hosting a speaker from the local center for aging. Not surprisingly, her appearingly mismatched boyfriend, a center volunteer is found murdered. While Jill, against Greg's wishes, snoops around the edges of this mystery she's more concerned with Aunt Jackie's state of mind and health. Aunt Jackie has broken her engagement to Harrold who's broken hear ...more

Another great installation to the Tourist Trap Mysteries. Jill is trying to solve a scam possibility being applied to Aunt Jackie. Greg has a murder investigation of Ben. Both pretty much stay in their lanes, are respectful, and share info when necessary. Greg doesn’t want to share and only gives Jill enough to keep her and her aunt safe along with South Cove residents. Are these two crimes related?

Jill’s Aunt Jackie is behaving strangely after breaking off her engagement to Harrold. Jill visits her aunt’s doctor and then the local senior center. Aunt Jackie had previously been a victim of a Ponzi scheme and Jill is worried she may be being scammed again. There is a murder and Jill is trying to stay out of the investigation. She’s more involved with figuring out who is trying to scam her aunt. Lines of inquiry keep crossing in the two investigations. Coincidence or is there a connection? I ...more

I absolutely loved this book!
I have been disappointed by the last few novellas, but this full length mystery was top notch and reminded me why I love these characters.
This book had great writing, a whodunit that kept me guessing, and characters full of personality.
I cannot wait to read the next book!
