A romantic and ultimately hopeful tribute to contemporary romance, using brilliant color illustrations which chart a voyage of infatuation, growth, separation, and reunion that will make this the gift book for the valentine season.
I bought this at a closeout store for about 25 cents to release on Bookcrossing. It's the kind of short picture book you will think is either a deep statement on modern romance, or a book that doesn't have much point. I fall into the latter category.
Loved this book and to think I just got this on a bargain at a warehouse sale, didn't peak at the story just made sure I had a book still not too worn and such. I'm happy I bought it, I initially intended to give it to a young cousin of mine, but after reading it, I just had to have it. This reminded me a lot of a Filipino film titled That Thing Called Tadhana which used the same technique to convey their message. So much lesson in so few details, but with descriptions giving more meaning to the story.
