More than a love story, this is a captivating, intelligent read from the first to the last chapter. The reader is drawn into an emergency situation immediately. The suspense builds, urging you into the next chapter, and the next. And while the protagonists, with their foibles and flaws, work to solve a pending crisis before it's too late, their relationship faces as many twists and turns as the plot. An enjoyable, face-paced read by a talented author.

New adult is not usually the genre I read, but MJ Moores’ Final Year had me hooked from the beginning. The novella follows Beth, a young sociology student, who feels she is largely invisible to the rest of the world. While researching her thesis, she meets the enigmatic, Jeremy, a guy who ignores her at their first encounter. But first impressions aren’t always accurate and Jeremy has a secret that Beth soon discovers. While the two work as friends, they become entangled in bizarre events that c ...more

Not one to normally read young adult or romance novels I found myself pleasantly swept up in the awkward romance of Beth and Jeremy, two campus oddballs. But that wasn’t enough as the story quickly shifted into a suspenseful race against the clock when their University campus is suddenly placed in lockdown. An enjoyable and easy read by author M. J. Moores.

I’m a sucker for a good romance. If sparks are flying, I’m hooked. In Final Year, Beth and Jeremy are about to finish their university careers. She’s looking for a chance to prove her sociology thesis correct when she meets Jeremy, a hot playboy. He’s focused on his studies in the hopes that he will win the coveted post-grad theoretical chem spot. But when campus is evacuated for a bomb threat, Beth and Jeremy will have to rely on each other. In the heat of the moment, readers are swept away alo ...more

When the university goes into emergency lock-down, this unlikely pair join forces to solve a major, impending disaster. In this gripping tale, anything can happen - experiments can turn deadl ...more

MJ Moores has successfully created two seemingly opposite characters that fit well together. Each tackling completely different school projects, they end up working together. A wonderful blend of romance and suspense, Final Year is filled with intrigue, keeping the reader turning the pages.
